Chapter Sixty Nine - Rested

When I returned to the penthouse, I immediately took a bath and changed into comfortable clothing to rest up.

I was so shaken up by what had happened. That entity probably used those shadows to speak to me directly.

She can do that and reveal herself more. I read in the book that once I saw her that prominent, it won’t be long until her greatest attack would greet us.

I am so scared but I didn’t want to worry anyone on the trip. I overthink a lot and didn’t realize that I fell asleep until someone woke me up from my deep slumber.

“Hazel, it’s time for dinner.” I heard Eli call me, forcing me to grunt before adjusting my eyes to the light that coming from the ceiling.

“O-Oh, was the barbeque done?” I asked before rising from the bed. I rubbed my eyes several times to remove my boggers.

“Yeah, everyone’s waiting for you.” Eli looked at me, “Do you want me to just fetch you some food and eat here?”

I shook my head and slipped into a new set of clothes right in front of
