Chapter Seventy Seven - Back

I didn’t realize that I had fallen asleep for almost the entire day when I noticed that it was already dark outside of the windows.

My soreness made me feel too lazy to rise from the bed. I hid myself on my blanket when someone opened the door.

“Are you awake baby?” Ethan asked. I slowly peeked from my main door and saw that he was carrying some food.

We both stopped when my stomach made a grumbling sound, making us both laugh while shaking our heads.

“I guess I was right on time.” He smiled before approaching me to give me my breakfast in bed.

There was a lot of food prepared on the tray: eggs, bacon, some bread, and freshly brewed coffee with cream and sugar.

“Did you cook this for me?” I curiously asked, but he shook his head before feeding me like I was some child, “I can feed myself you know?”

“I know that, but I want to do it, okay?” He pouted, which made me smile while my heart was fluttering on the inside.
