Jin-Ae tried to sense the oddness in the air.
She dropped her head and sighed deeply to settle down her anxious thoughts and blinked twice to inspect, what if she miraculously see something.
Soon, mild earthy smell mixed with a sense of delicacy and softness hit her. Jin-Ae got goosebumps as this was her dad's favourite, the daisies and forget-me-not flowers.
Jin-Ae took long deep breathes, taking in all of the smell, apropos of she never knows when she'll be able to this smell again, when two hands helped her remove the blindfold, slowly.
She got startled and felt something different.
Her heart thudded loudly as if it would shred out of her chest right away anytime soon.
Slowly and deliberately, the darkness faded away, she opened her eyes.
It took her a moment to adapt her eyes to the warm lighting of the cosy room.
Her eyes focused solely on the woman shoes which were there in front of her. Everything else was a blur.
She looked up while kneading her eyes to figure out the situation as her heart was beating fast whilst her mind was clinking with uncountable questions.
Jin-Ae saw a middle-aged woman, in a decent uniform, and with a confectionary smile on her face who was standing there as her posture explained her occupation.
Jin-Ae soon comprehended that she was one of the people that worked there for Min-Jae. She greeted her and fixed her dress avoiding the cloud of awkwardness that was drizzling on her.
The next second, her eyes were looking for him.
Her heart began longing for his presence, she tried to scan her surroundings as she felt her fluttery nervous stomach grumbling. Her eyes searched for him but sceptically, he wasn't there.
She sauntered a few steps as she sighed radically when she saw...
Dark red foil balloons abutted the ceiling, polaroids with fairy lights were gleaming so beautifully adding a romantic touch to the warm, cosy atmosphere. Jin-Ae was in pure awe.
She walked around the room with her hand on her mouth as her eyes gradually turned glossy.
The more she paddled the more red and black balloon collided with her shoes.
A scented candle was lit on the side table whilst a small tub was filled with rose water while on the contrary, a few roses were romping on the top.
As she wandered more, she spotted a few small vases of roses with baby breaths that were set here and there giving a finishing romantic whiff to the room.
Sentimental songs playing in the background made her teary. It was so aesthetically glamorous and incredible. She had a blank look with a big smile on her face.
Jin-Ae was overwhelmed and pleased with the cute surprise that made her heart fall in love with him more, with his choices. Her palms were getting sweaty as she was questioning herself a lot.
She searched here and there and looked for Taehyung to appear dramatically as that is what usually ensues in the movies.
Jin-Ae soon, acknowledged the woman's presence as she scratched her head and looked towards the woman, wiping off her small tears that were about to fall.
The woman grinned as big as the moon and walked towards her.
As if she read the confusion on Jin-Ae's face, she said, "Min-Jae told us to inform you that there's a message for you in the black box and the other box, there's a dress that you have to wear that is placed in the centre of the bed"
Jin-Ae's eyes widened when she realized that the romantic hour is not over yet.
"Why does this scene feel like it's straight out of Goodnovel?" she reckoned.
Nose scrunched up as she tapped her fingers on her jaw, she leisurely went to the black box and opened it.
As told, there was a letter inside it.
Jin-Ae was about to open the letter when she noticed something unusual, in such a fight or flight situation she quickly looked up as her neck cracked a sound, some guy was recording her.
Jin-Ae shivered with fear as she was mentally panicking. Her heart raced again.
The woman came to her and said, "Hurry! Something great is waiting for you. Also, don't mind him, Min-Jae asked him to record everything." Jin-Ae couldn't evaluate what was going on. She slightly nodded to her when in fact, she was not getting any idea with what was going to come her way.
Jin-Ae groaned loudly and decided to read the letter.
She sighed again with a smile to look excited and happy as she opened the letter before taking a glance at the remarkable and nicely decorated room.
"Hey, beautiful,
I hope, you liked it. The scented room, the balloons, and everything. I know, this must be a little confusing and a lot more complicated for you to understand but for now, if you trust me, don't think too much, and just go with the flow I defined for you.
Just be yourself and don't feel uncomfortable, you'll be seeing me soon.
Moreover, don't forget to doll yourself up, get ready fast, and smile a lot because that's how you look prettier and more like a fairy that flew out of the fairytale through an outlet.
I'm waiting for you.
Yours,
Min-Jae.♡"
"Uwuwu! He added a heart in the end."
Why is my heart fluttering so much! This is so embarrassing."
Jin-Ae couldn't stop smiling. The letter was so wholesome and gave off comforting vibes.
The letter made her feel that he's here, the warmth in his handwritten words comforted and soothed her down.
Jin-Ae kept reading the last line as this was the first time Min-Jae complimented her.
"Ohh so rightfully, it's not a big deal. People do compliment me a lot. Why my cheeks are burning right now. I need to act up accordingly."
Jin-Ae scolded herself mentally, as she again read the last line.
Butterflies danced in her stomach that were a lot excited than Jin-Ae herself.
Suddenly, she froze in her place recalling that she was being recorded.
Coming out of her small celebration, she stepped towards the white box. She was thrilled for the new little venture that the gloomy night prepared for her, Jin-Ae extended her hand as her body wiggled a bit releasing the excess excitement trapped in her small body.
The cameraman noticed and chuckled as he mumbled, "Calm down! It's your night, you're the Queen, and the night is yours. I know you're the luckiest tonight."
Jin-Ae blushed red as she nodded to him and went on.
All these decoration, beautiful efforts and hints were making her crazy, this was so insanely beautiful but shocking too.
Before she could question more about it, the song playing in the background changed into her favourite song.
It was Perfect by Ed Sheeran.
The woman smiled at Jin-Ae while the cameraman winked at her.
"Uggh! this is so confusing", Jin-Ae thought as she shared an awkward stare between them.
She quickly took out the dress, but carefully without wasting any more time.
The second she saw the dress her jaw dropped.
Unintentionally, her one hand went to her cheek.
Jin-Ae backed off a bit to have a clear view of the dress.
It was an off-shoulder, crimson red dress striking little shades of ruby, a little short and aesthetically beautiful.
She twirled the dress twice and took her time to admire how elegant and classy it was.
Jin-Ae narrowed her eyebrows and grinned showing off her dimples as she talked to herself, "No doubts on Min-Jae's choice."
Furthermore, as if all of this was not enough the black box had a silver purse and a silver set mounted in there that included a pair of silver earring with a cute silver fairy locket too. It was all her type. Pearls and small cute silver diamonds.
She infrequently jumped up and down smiling ear to ear as she ran into the bathroom to change into this pretty dress.
Nothing worried Jin-Ae more than the thought of what if this doesn't fit her.
"Huh! Typical girl problems"
After a few minutes,
She came out of the bathroom. The woman froze while the cameraman gasped with excitement. "You look so pretty", they said together.
Jin-Ae slightly laughed as her cheeks flared in delightment at the coincidence and said, "Thank you."
She quickly adjusted her makeup and wore the accessories selected by him. It made her happy whereas, her heart was dancing on a love melody.
Once Jin-Ae was ready, the woman helped Jin-Ae with her hair. She braided her hair in a cute cottage core style which swerved the beautiful dark vibes into a soft one.
"Done", Jin-Ae whimpered as she took a last glance in the mirror.
"You are looking so beautiful and pretty. Have a great night! The car is waiting for you downstairs." The woman said walking beside her down the stairs.
Jin-Ae did a little swirl for the cameraman and hunched in the car.
Her heart was battering like crazy. It was unbelievable and on the top of that, she couldn't stop thinking, about what if this is a proposal and if not then, what's waiting for her.
Her mind was loaded with a dozen of questions to which the answers were unknown.
Deep down inside, she was drowning in her dark anxious sea henceforth, her hands were getting sweaty. Jin-Ae clicked and clapped her hands together to calm herself down to stop the panic.
She continuously wished this to not be awkward or something that she never imagined or wished for. She was happy and terrified at the same time.
Why?
Maybe she was not ready. Her heart was scared now instead of being thrilled. Something felt wrong. She continuously polled her feelings trying to list down all the possibilities the night might bring her.
"Hello?" Jin-Ae peeked towards the cameraman and promptly came out of her fantasy. "The air conditioner is booming, why are you still dripping? Is there something worrying you?", he asked.
Jin-Ae immediately mumbled a no.
After a few minutes of silence, the cameraman handed her a laptop and implored her to see the video in the interim, the car gets to the destination.
"Do I need to see this?", Jin-Ae inquired in a tired tone. "Yeah, the destination is kinda far from here so, to kill your time Min-Jae made this for you."
He was so thoughtful and gracious.
Jin-Ae nervously giggled and recklessly clicked on the play button to experience the new venture Min-Jae readied for her.
Jin-Ae went into the video when she was trembling with anxious thoughts wandering in her mind taking over her stability.
After 30 minutes,
The video ended with Jin-Ae clutching her stomach as it was too painful for her to handle from all the laughing she had during the video.
Jin-Ae calmed down as she wiped her happy glossy eyes.
"I needed this. I don't know about anything but I am thankful for Min-Jae for coming into my life and turning it into a crazy, funny endeavour." Jin-Ae responded to the imaginary anxious fairy that whirl her magic stick at unexpected timings.
It was a video of all the clicks and videos they both took together. The video recalled all the memories back.
It brought back all the times of how she ended up spending many great memories and beautiful minutes of her life with a stranger but now a best friend who was always there when she needed him. Even though, her heart and thoughts were in a battle about if she is ready to confess and shower the love that he deserves;
No matter what, he was dear to her, to her heart.
Suddenly, the car stopped.
Jin-Ae propelled as the brakes were pulled blithely.
"Where are we?"
Jin-Ae gaped at the cameraman who was staring at her with his signature evil
The phone rang."🎶Imagine your faceSay hello to me'Til all the bad daysThey're nothing to meWith you🎶" (Winter bear by Kim Taehyung)Min-Jae picked up the phone call simultaneously as he adjusted his Rolex watch on his wrist."yeoboseyo," Min-Jae mumbled and swirled his eyes which was filled with desperateness for someone. An old woman retorted back from the other end of the phone."I don't have any time for the hellos.Min-Jae made a revolted face as he strolled towards a quiet place. When? Jin-Ae is departing from Korea?" A cunning voice implored.Min-Jae paused a little, then responded, "She'll be leaving in 3 days."She sighed dramatically and asserted, "Oh My God! You're so slow. I should have asked someone else." She ridiculed him, considering that Min-Jae could sense her smirking evilly on the other end. Moreover, I heard you're proposing to her?" Min-Jae was about to whisp
Suddenly, the car stopped, they flitted forward as the driver pulled the brake. Shortly after, the car was replenished with scary silence and strange stares. Little small junctures that felt like an eternity soon got over. The driver nudged the curtain that was attached between the passenger and driver's seat. Oh to be the Celebrity's type of car it was. Jin-Ae finally gathered her nervous self and implored. "Where are we?", Jin-Ae glared at the cameraman for answers with her narrowed brows, who again gave her, his signature smirk. He then, rolled his eyes as they wandered back to the driver. The cameraman gestured to the driver. The driver immediately reflexed to the signal and unlocked the doors. Jin-Ae was mystified and kept staring at the cameraman with dozens of concerns in her mind. She was trickling. In a blink of an eye, she heard footsteps from the outside. Gradually, the deliberate and small fo
Jin-Ae stared into his eyes and cupped his face gently in her palms as her stomach commenced to ravage inside. She was about to mumble something but abruptly, she felt nauseous. She instantly covered her mouth with her hands to avoid any type of mess. In a blink of an eye, Min-Jae got startled like a little child as soon as he caught a glimpse of it. He quickly inquired as he pulled her by her waist, a lot more closer to him, "Are you okay?" He was quivering with concern and worry whereas, Jin-Ae got warm from embarrassment. "Uhm- yes!", Jin-Ae somehow managed to respond to him, looked down and grinned like an idiot. Min-Jae could be a tot too? Who knew. It wasn't until Min-Jae could grasp her smirking, he then, cleared his throat and stood up straight like a gentleman he is as he adjusted his coat. He told Jin-Ae to sat down on the mat and tried to soothe her down with his all-time cold face. He instructed the camerama
Five years later, Every individual hopped onto something new. Seoul was not the same anymore. New gossips, never heeded music bands, new chanting crowds, baffled yet energetic teens, unemployed heartbroken wanderers, new crime, iPhones and fashion. However, there was still something that didn't alter at all. A heart that truly loved Jin-Ae whilst striving his best to endure in the same world that's always tormented with the sad sensibilities and resentments. When the sun woke up, an aeroplane landed, rerouting the paths of two destined souls. Everyone was occupied, trying to make it to their kind of destination. Air crates landing and taking off at their velocities whilst announcements were made for the passengers. At Incheon International airport, wearing a Burberry long trench coat Jin-Ae hauled the stroller packed with the boxes and bags, above merrily sat a little girl in a white top and a grey designed skirt with loose bla

An answer that concludes the whole life of an unordinary fairy tale.Jin-Ae glazed at him with blank spaces, sonnets and romantic haikus that were trapped in her chest
Jin-Ae couldn't resist smiling. She closed her eyes, relishing the feeling of his muscular arms, the momentous warmth around her body."I love you too." The three magical words echoed on the shore, drifting away the anxious feelings into the depth of the glistening sea.The gentle air eagerly nudged the clouds to let the moon witness the golden moment.Min-Jae smiled wide after hearing this from Jin-Ae, between each other's lips with hundred words behind them. This moment was so celestial for both of them. Their hearts pounded at a myriad pace. Looking into each other's eyes they both desired for this moment to last as long as it can.Meanwhile, she was cherishing his smile, his cheekbones that beautifully define his features, as they both were centimetres away when a short-lived flicker of light caught their attention."Hey! The falling star", Min-Jae pointed towards it as Jin-Ae followed his veiny arms.Jin-Ae smiled at the glorious sight
Time went by, replenishing their tummy with flavorful sushi, ramen and kimchi stew with some rice, they all thanked God and got ready to depart for home. The car ride was an ample of baby talks, humour, and non-stop interrogation sessions with Min-Jae, about when he will take them out.Jin-Ae couldn't stop blinking with heart eyes, there wouldn't be a second when her heart didn't thud loudly. She fell in love with this goofy and tacky side of Min-Jae."He would become a great father." She reckoned and grinned looking towards the window as happy tears escaped her eyes."What's wrong?" Min-Jae interrogated with his fingers brushing against Jin-Ae's smooth skin. The warm, subtle touch fetched Jin-Ae back to actuality.Jin-Ae instantly smeared her tears and gave him a quick assuring look. She then took a glance at the kids and noticed that they were inundated, appreciating the night view of Seoul and how everything looks dist
Her cheeks brightened red in embarrassment. Whilst, they both were struggling to calm down and avoid the awkwardness between them, the anticipation, the fervor, and the sensations kept increasing. He was gleaming, the same glow people get when they are treated right, and when the aura is happy. She had no choice but to peer into his eyes and peck his lips. He froze. She flushed red once again. It wasn't just about her wanting him to pin her against the wall and waste her, it was about the times she missed him, it was about the times she felt the affection she had for him, it was about all the times when she craved for his presence. And when making love isn't just about the body, everything gets sexy and pretty hot. The tension and the intimating glares kept ascending. She looked at his lips and then, his eyes. This went on for a few seconds until she gathered up all her bravery, and skimmed her fingers against his f
Paparazzi, a populace of curious people began invading their privacy. They started capturing their outlook with every big and small digital eye, clicking and twinkling continuous lights on them which eventually resulted in Min-ah and Jae Joon getting scared and startled, they both inattentively hid behind Jin-Ae.Jin-Ae was stunned for a while as she didn't foresee being greeted goodbye like that. She stood straight bolstering her posture with wide-opened eyes as she held her kids tightly with her strong yet weary hands challenging their vicious idea of restraining her privacy. Her heart was thumping loudly, she could feel it lunging so dangerously as it jeopardized the chance of it plummeting out of her chest."Are they going to steal my kids away from me?"The only question that bounced around in her head kept on weakening her confidence whilst it slowly pulled her into this big anxious hole full of suspicions and darkness. "Please save me, please!
The sky shivered to wriggle the remaining blues into grey. The depressing yet happy tears drizzled on the earth dappling the sky with heavy clouds and shimmering silver lining.Whilst, everyone was appreciating nonentity, which is everything, Jin-Ae was standing as her heart sprinted for the figure to reveal herself.Unfortunately, something started irritating her eyes, to avoid the disturbing sensation, she carefully rubbed them but then, the appalling and the most horrendous moment transpired which caused Jin-Ae to snap her eyes wide open.Min-ah began cackling as the woman in hanbok looked pretty and so different from what she looked in front of the cameras. While on the other hand, the gullible Jae Joon was sitting there quietly, with his glossy dark eyes exemplifying the desire to go home as soon as possible.Jin-Ae recognized the woman immediately. Her breath hitched when all the voices in her head started resulting in unwelc
A tall, beautiful girl opened the door with a bright, cheerful gleam on her face, who appeared to be wearing a professional yet comfortable uniform. She greeted Jin-Ae with a big, delicate, and boxy smile. But, that smile wore off in no time when her eyes landed on Jin-Ae's drenched clothes.Jin-Ae shivered as her eyes flickered here and there trying to glare inside the room with that, she passed a small smile to the girl whilst her eyes proceeded to wiggle for her kid's sight."Please, come in ma'am!" The housekeeper mumbled softly, so soft that Jin-Ae's tears that were welled up on the edges, started to stroll down her face."Where are my kids? Who are you? Min-ah. Jae Joon.." Jin-Ae scantily sobbed when she couldn't find her kids."Please, calm down. They're so indulged in the TV right now, maybe they didn't hear you, because a while ago, big giant tears were meandering down their pink cheeks like you, wide written on their faces that they are m
Min-Jae's eyes flickered between the road and the beautiful woman driving beside him, the love of his life. Suddenly the fear of her getting hurt crawled in but then in a blink of an eye, he gradually became scared for his own life."Hey! Slow down. We'll get hurt." Min-Jae muttered and narrowed down his eyebrows in fear, without giving it a second thought.Jin-Ae forthwith gave him a death glare as a retort and then, promptly flailed her gaze to the road, trying her nicest not to tear down the concentration."My kids are lost and all you care about is getting hurt." Jin-Ae let out her frustration in a deep infuriating tone.Jin-Ae's mind was stirring up chaos and troubles, poking her in the ways that made her numb and more impassive, whatnot.Nothing in this small, scorched earth can neither harvest joy nor rehabilitate a soul that motherliness permits. Her kids not only compelled her, became a part of her, encouraged her to grow and heal in

Flashback of a boy playing in the backyard with all the autumn leaves scattered here and there as a cold whiff swung away a few of them with it.On a loud giggly call, the kid veered around, wearing a dark brown coat which was bold and pretty, made him look like a brown rose with its corollas freshly thrived, on his simple jade black turtleneck and black earmuffs as he jogged towards his heaven, his mom.His bouncy, dusk, silky hair strode in all direction, filtered the moment into a Hollywood one. When shy airy chuckles echoed in the air as the kid jumped on her mom, knowing she'll catch him in one go.The two grinned so big at each other, as their blood rushed to their cheeks giving off a rosy tint, the cute duo looked breathtakingly beautiful.Dark chocolate brown aroma mixed with a lot of coffee beans scent, the kid pointed at the cute little pumpkin, ready to be embellished into a pretty one.The mother snickered looking at
Min-ah held her breath as she scrutinized the situation, putting up with superfluous precautions to not get snagged by the house helper/driver.She knew that they wouldn't permit them to go into a huge crowd as they might get injured. The hysterical enthusiasm and the insight of victory made them feel euphoric as their hearts romped along with the wobbly shine, a faded tremulous or sporadic light in their eyes.A child's intellect, a flame to ignite. It always works without the deliberation of right and wrong. Without contemplating any consequences, Min-ah and Jae Joon fled from the cafe to extrapolate more and experience something new.Little did they know, they were about to unlock a crazy stanza of their existences that might also cause them to tremble, lose their conscience, and the benign lifestyle they were dwelling in.Min-ah and Jae Joon sneakily got out from the different door and luckily they made it out without any dilemmas,
"You look so much like him", Min-ah lunged up, waning her brows as she twirled to get Jae Joon's viewpoint."I'm not sure but what I know is these rice chips are only made for me", Jae Joon muttered with inscrutable terms, licking his fingers, expressing how yummy those were."Hey! Look at him. WOW! This picture is you." Min-ah screeched at Jae Joon to finally get his scrutiny as her honey-brown eyes spurred and ruddy chubby cheeks hoisted in fervour gazing at her twin for a response.Greyish brown eyes diminished glaring at the picture on the TV screen as his ears earned a red hue in amusement."Woahh! That's me.", Jae Joon murmured with an unsettled tone illustrating awe.Something in Woojin was so transcendental and tantalizing that they both got engulfed in the TV screen, wowing at the man who was percolating the cliché of "hot bad boy" with a jaw slenderer than his cheekbones, guided down to his curvaceous lips.Woojin's nose, fa
The creamy silk curtains laced with fancy linen frontiers splashed an orange flicker to the room, eclectic with fairy lights reeked a greenish shade on Min-Jae's face. Felt like a forenoon in ecstasy.Jin-Ae unhurriedly opened her eyes to the adorable chorus of melodic birdsong, drifting in with the cold-warm gust swerves. The view, Min-Jae peacefully slumbering beside her was one of the best things she had ever encountered over the last five years.Resting there for a modicum, she struggled to get out of his hold, as they both slept hugging each other, admiring the warmth and adoring it to the fullest, fulfilling the missed eternities.Jin-Ae finally got out of his clasp and next, headed to the window unfurling her hands to entice her body, smiling when flashbacks of last night replayed in her head, celebrating, she then scantily removed the soft curtains and greeted the sun nicely. The dappled sunlight drew mysterious shadows, meantime, Jin-A
