Roy looked down from the tree and noticed one of the men as he touched his shoulder. At that moment, Roy sighted a drop of blood on his shoulder and since the man was not wearing a shirt, it would be easy for him to notice it. Roy knew something was bound to happen and made haste to counter the man's actions. The man smelled the blood and came into a conclusion that since it dropped from a tree, then the one they were searching for would be on top of the tree. He looked up suddenly, tilting his head sideways in search for Roy. He sighted no one and moved closer to have a clearer view. He called the attention of bus friend. He soon decide to climb up the tree. "Who are these people... why won't they give up," Roy muttered as he hid himself amongst the leaves of the tree. He had to do something as he would be caught since they were already coming for him. He peeked on his wounded chest. A hole was drilled in his chest due to the impact of the arrow that pierced through him. He healed s
"Clear out of the way.... Everyone move out," Nathan yelled as he directed the cargo that carried Roy. He rode on a horse and ushered the guards guiding the cargo to hurry up. The guards that were at the gate of the Blackpool pack opened the gate so they would get inside the pack. Vivian and Shaw rushed out of the Royal residence in response to the noise they heard. Though the cargo was covered so anyone won't have to know it was Roy being transported but the pack members were not that daft as they knew it must be either Cara or Roy that was in the cargo as it was a Royal one. No one could have been placed in there without being part of the Royal family. Cara rode fast from behind and jumped down from her horse without even stopping the horse. She rushed and ordered the guards to get Roy inside. "What's going on,... what happened to him," Vivian questioned. Shay was already in tears as they rolled down from his eyes the moment he sighted Roy. A few of the pack members that gathered
It has been five hours since Roy was unconscious. Cara sat beside him and won't leave him all by himself. Laurel and Priya were there, including Kyle and Nathan but they were already dozing off. It was only Cara that was awake. Despite the fact that Laurel and Priya tried to get her to sleep or rather have some rest. She won't give in to their proposal. She watched Roy as he laid still on the bed. She smiles and soon bursted into tears. She felt uncomfortable seeing Roy that way. She started having her doubts about what they had done to revive him. "Roy... you have to get up... this is taking too long," Cara said and sobbed. Laurel overheard her. She got up and walked up to Cara with the aim of consoling her. She rubbed her back with her palm and hugged her from behind. "Roy is stronger than that... He would eventually get up," Laurel said in low tone. Kyle and Nathan also got up when they heard some indistinct chatter. They all moved closer to Cara and all stood by her. Priya mused
Cara walked slowly up to Mara. She embraced her from behind after she heard the part of her story. She had pity on her as she could now see that she had been through a lot. She does not deserve that. Her story reminded her of her childhood days when she had to escape from the pack simply because of a plot of his Father's beta. Though she was not as young as Mara but their story were kind of related. She patted her on her hair and looked into her eyes. Cara soon shared a part of her story that seemed to be related to hers. She smiled at her and assured her that she's in good hands and would be protected. Mara took a brief look at everyone. She smiled at them all when she noticed the expression on their faces. It was like they were expecting her as they received her gladly and were all ready to do anything for her. Cara called out to Priya and told her to take Mara with her so she would have to stay in her room and since Mara seemed to be more closer to Priya than anyone of them. She w
Roy Sprung into the air and perched on his horse that was already prepared for him. Nathan and Kyle who had prepared the guards beforehand were already on their horses. Roy peeked at everyone that was at the pack square... "We will be taking the fight to them," Roy said with a loud thick voice. "Remember... No mercy, if you don't fight them, they'll fight you," He added and growled faintly. He directed his focus upwards, towards the building of the Royal residence. He sighted Cara who was looking at him through the window of her room. He slightly bowed his head while Cara waved to her.Roy soon gave the signal for them to ride out of the pack. He screamed at once and rode out first, followed after was Nathan and Kyle, while the others followed after him. Roy lead them on the path which they had took during the hunting season as he believed that was the route they passed when they were on the chase, striving to catch up with Mara. They rode into the forest and soon got to the spot wher
Roy took a deep breath in and exhaled. He looked behind him, both on his left and on his right side. He thought of what to do but no matter what decision he took, his pack was at risk. One thing he knew for sure was the fact that they needed him alive but his pack would be destroyed without hesitation."Who are you," Roy questioned as he gazed into the eyes of the one that had asked him to surrounded himself. "I am your end... it take me nothing to order my men to shoot their arrows," The man answered. He seemed to be their Leader. He had a few scars on his body. looked like one that had been to war countless of time. He looked so very thick and muscular."I give it to you, Roy... you're strong but you can't fight us all," The man claimed. "It would be stupid of you if you should fight... you'll be leading your men into their death," He said and bursted into laughter, making jest of Roy like a wisecrack. One of Roy's men was angered, he yelled and ran towards the man that had just fi
Nathan and Kyle rode back to the pack and without a waste of seconds, they went straight inside the Royal residence. Cara who already heard the sound of horses rushed out and bumped into Nathan. Laurel and Priya were also there at the moment since they were with Cara. They had to go out with her. "Where is Roy... Why are you back so soon," Cara questioned and took a step out of the residence. Her aim was to see if Roy's horse was outside at the pack square. She sighted Roy's horse and that gave her a relief. "But where's Roy... where had he gone to," Cara questioned again. Nathan peeked outside the door which was the entrance that led inside the Royal residence. He sighted a few of the pack members as they wandered around while a few of the guards who had no idea of what had happened migrated from one spot to another. He knew it wasn't the right place to start explaining how it happened to Cara. He called her inside and ushered everyone so they would go to the residence where they'
Roy slightly opened up his eyes. The first thing his eyes caught was the triple arrow right in front of his eye. It was held by a big iron. Maybe that was to him as he had never seen such a big iron once before but it was a big machine and the machine was in control of keeping the arrows at bay and to fire them up. Only what was needed was a single button, if pressed would release the arrow and would probably struck Roy right on his head and eyes.He coughed and peeked at his injured site. There were dried leaves placed on his wounds and that had been used to drive out the poison that invaded his body through the arrow that was fired at him. The liquid that was squeezed out of the leaves were used to hasten his healing process. He shook head and wandered around with his eyes in the place he was kept.He sighted a few men who sat on a wooden chair a few stride away from where he was. He heard another footsteps coming from behind him. Three men soon passed by him, they carried some boxes
Abel walked slowly thinking about what Roy would do to them after the betrayal. Though it wasn't his fault but yet he could have stopped it for happening but was not strong enough to stop Eric and his Father. He walked slowly, putting one foot in front of the other in an attempt to meet with his Father. He got to the doorstep of his Father and stood there. He knocked and without waiting for a response from the inside of the room, he barged in and shut the door behind him. He looked at his Father who sat on a wheelchair with his back turned against him. He lost his leg during a fight with a few of the werewolves. He was the one to take the war to them with a few of the hunters. He shouldn't have been the one to lose his legs that night but he eventually did after he tried to save Taylor. They were ambushed as it wasn't what they were expecting. At first they thought they were winning the fight not until a few other wolves came out of nowhere and attacked them from every coners. It w
Roy sat inside the van at the back while Abel sat right next to him and Eric right at his front. Eric spied on him through the mirror that was hanging right above him. Though Roy noticed him but was less concerned about that. He head was raised high up with his eyes closed. L He lingered upward on his seat when the Van climbed on a large stone. He opened his eyes as he noticed the Van had stopped."We are here... but you won't alight here... we'll be going straight to meet him," Abel said to him. He looked up and made a sudden eye contact with Eric whose eyes was fixed on him. Abel knew that Eric did not support his alliance with Roy but Abel understood Roy and thought about it, placing himself in his shoes. He figured out he would also do the same if he should put himself in Roy's position. "I hope he hears you out but you should know... you'll have to fight him and he is experienced in this, it's not going to be easy," He said "I hope it won't be easy," Eric said immediately Abel
Liam rode on his horse, crushing through the forest as he made way for the Blackpool pack. Roy had told him to get back and get Cara to be on her way as he would have set things right before she arrives. That was part of his plan as he thought of hiding her amongst the hunters. It was the only option he have and the only one that could save Cara and the baby. Since the pack was not a safe place for them, not even in the city but being in the midst of the hunter would be a much better option. The werewolves, even though they had abilities were all scared to cross their boundary and attack the hunters, knowing that many of them would die at the hand of the hunters. They had never once taken the fight to them. He believed that if he could only get them to see from his point of view, there will be no reason to go to war.The baby would be the one who o stir up the war but if she would not be there for everyone to fight over her, then no war could be started. Liam crossed the path which th
"We have to go... we have to catch up with them," Roy said immediately Abel finished with his words. "This must have happened while I was gone... It wasn't here when I passed by," Liam said and took a brief look at Roy. "Something must be going on in the city... we have to hurry," He added."No, we have to find the hunters," Roy said immediately."And do what... kill them," Abel said and rushed right in front of Roy to stop him. He had not a slight fear in him when he heard the words Roy uttered. Liam wanted to grab him and pushed him away but Roy stopped him, knowing he was fighting for those he cared about."I feel what you feel Abel... Did you notice your reaction," He asked and sighed. "You were not even scared of me despite the fact that you were always scared... what gave you the confidence," He asked and smiled. He took a few steps closer to Abel."You had your courage because you're trying to protect your people," Roy said and took a deep breath in. "You could see why I woul
Not long after that Roy had taken his leave from the spot which he had his fight with the werewolf alongside Liam and Abel, he stopped when he sighted a thick fog of smoke that went up into the sky a little distance from them as it was eight ahead of them. Liam and Abel who were right behind him also halted as they saw what he had seen. "What is this.... this might be another trap," Liam said and rode his horse closer to Roy so that he was right beside him. "I know... it might, most of them knows that I'm away from the pack since there were intruders in the pack," He said to Liam and looked away after which he had took a brief look at him."We don't know what will be waiting for us on the other side... it's difficult to see through it," Liam said, waiting to hear from Roy about what he thought they could do. "We could use him... the human," He suggested but at that moment, Roy refute his opinion and made it known to him that Abel can't be hurt as he had choosen to trust him despite
Roy held the wolf which had spoken for the rest of his pack after which he smashed him down on the ground. He landed another punch right on his face and in no time, turned his head to notice Liam after which he heard the sound of his voice. He sighed Liam already thrown down on the floor with the side of his head bleeding, profusely. Roy got up to help him out. He ran into their midst without hesitation with the three of them surrounding him. He fought them so hard, piercing them with his claws. He got hold of one of them and threw him hard to the ground. He was struck by one of them right on his lower back, causing him to lose his balance. The three of them rushed at him all at once, leaving him at the middle. They slashed their hands trying to cut him with their claws. He defended himself, griping them one after the other and hitting them hard with his palm. He could have killed them, piercing them with his claws and be done with them once and for all but he choose not to, knowing
Abel was thrown into a muse by the words he heard Liam speak... Though he had no idea what he name was but with the way he spoke with Roy, they should be very close and had been a long time since they saw each other. He gulped and looked away as he noticed Roy stare. Roy turned to Liam and asked him if he knew how he could get to the city without anyone noticing him."Why are you going to the city... you haven't answered me yet... is it true," He asked and walked hurriedly to stop Roy from walking back and forth as he seemed restless at the moment after hearing the story of Liam. He never expected that he would have to be that way and based on the fact that it had already started in the city. He stopped and pressed on with his gaze on Liam and without giving him an answer, Liam got the answer himself. He could tell by the look on his face."So it was true... and where is Cara," He said and at that moment, Roy rushed to him and grabbed him by his neck. He held him firmly and almost lif
Roy held Abel firmly on his mouth as he tried to make a sound when he was pierced by thorns around the bush they hid themselves. He turned his head slowly to notice Roy and at that time, Roy tilted his head as a gesture so he won't have to make the sound he was about to make as it could rat them out since he was trying to hide himself from whosever that was stalking them. He withdrew his hand from Abel's mouth and closed his eyes. He tilted his head subsequently with his lips partly opened as he tried to catch the scent a second time all for the sole purpose of getting the direction the scent was coming from. ``Why does this smell this way... I've come across this wolf before but I don't know where,`` He thought to himself and packed a fistful of sand in his hand. He propelled his head forward and peeped to have a look at his surroundings but he sighted no one."We can't stay here all night... maybe you're mistaken Roy," Abel whispered to him with a low tone. "We can't move out...
Roy and Abel rode side by side with each other on their horses. The clouds was dark and the moon lurked around the clouds slowly like it was moving. Roy looked upward at the sky and viewed it for some moments. He folded his lips with his eyes lids slowly closed in such a way that it seemed like his eyes were both closed but they were not.Abel stared at him all the while with his eyes pressed on him. He looked for a while without noticing the branch of tree that shoot out from a tree and was right ahead of him in such a way that he might get injured by the branch if he choose not to avoid it as it had some sharp end that might cause him to back down and not be able to move on again but would have to rest and probably take some break before they set out again.Roy, though wasn't looking his way as his eyes were fixed on the clouds and the moon itself. The moon reminded him constantly of the vision that Cara had seen concerning the child she would born as it would be on the full moon. H
