Chapter Eighty-Five

“This restaurant looks very fancy and beautiful but...Why is it empty?” her eyes were all over scanning the empty tables around us.

I acted like I was surprised too because if she knows I booked the entire restaurant for our date, she's likely to kick a fuss.

“You didn't book the entire restaurant right?" Her eyes were fixed on me.

“I didn't. You don't really like lemons, why are you having lemon bar for dessert?" I asked before popping an apple pie into my mouth.

I had waited until my mother healed up completely before I picked a date for our date. Much to my relief she and my mother relationship are back to normal which only means one thing. I'm one step to winning my woman back.

“You really know a lot about me don't you?" She was smiling.

I shrugged.“You were my fiancèe for a year it would be a shame if I don't know a thing about you."
