CHAPTER SIX: Oh no!

Hayden stare at Isabella retreating back till she disappear into Joyce apartment.

" Where should we go master ? " Kyle asked from the driver seat. He look relaxed and in a good mood.

" Home, i need a good rest in my bed. Father gave me a week off so i should lazy around while i can " Hayden replied wearily.

Kyle took a turn towards Hayden's domain. That was the name his house was called.   Even before Hayden was made the leader of the beast family, he has been living Alone. Quietly in that very big castle- like house of his but after he was made the leader, he was given maids to care for him. Not that he wanted one but due to the traditions he can't refuse.

He stare at Kyle who focus on driving for a while and the image of how he saved the young man popped into his mind.

Hmm, humans!

He breath slowly from the back.

Kyle pull into Hayden's domain after a long drive. The tall gate swung open and he headed for the garage.  He was tired and hungry but he knows better than to complain to Hayden who seem to be in a bad mood.

Hayden get out of his car and headed inside, Kyle following him earnestly.

The maids quickly came out to meet him but he signal them off.

Now isn't the time . He thought to himself. He could feel their seductive smile when his back was turned to them but he ignore it.

He was use to every ladies trying to seduce him. He sometimes resist them though while sometimes he gave them his body. That has been Hayden's way, he was known to be a womaniser but a nice one at that.

He walk into his very large room which was lighted up brightly. He sat tiredly on his bed which was neatly made and kick off his boots to lay down.

He was troubled by the marriage proposal, he has heard from the supposed bride, Isabella Martin that she wouldn't go into any Marriage with a beast. He should be relieved that she refused to marry him but why then is he bothered by her rejection.

Never has anyone reject him before.

Probably because she didn't know me. He thought to himself. The door gave a knock and he stood up slightly resting on his elbows to pick up the scent of the one who has knocked.

Kyle!

" Enter " He called out calmly without making any effort to sit up. The door open and kyle walk in slowly.

" Master your dad has unfreeze your credit card " He announced happily but Hayden didn't give any reaction. And that was because his paranormal sense told him Kyle was nervous.

" I'm listening, tell me what it is " He replied his secretary calmly.

Kyle breath out shakily. If he is ever scared of anyone it will be his master even though the latter has never treat him bad.

" It's your dad. He said there is an event tomorrow and you must have to go because your bride will be there " Kyle said looking away, afraid he would see Beasty emerging. He has once witness Hayden shifting, letting out his beast and the sight has made him cringe in great fear.

He turn to face Hayden who seem to be lost in thought.

" That's okay , dad will be furious if i declined again this time. I haven't been to double world annual event eversince my mother left for beast cave " He murmured to Kyle who stare at his master in pity.

" Let's get prepare then. " Kyle was quick to answer. He look delighted but then his face creased in concerned when he remember Isabella. " Your bride will be there master " he repeated calmly looking at Hayden to see his reaction.

Hayden turn to him with his paranormal eyes. " That's okay. She will know sooner or later. "

" You are right, i wonder how she failed to recognize you at all " Kyle replied tilting his head.

" She said she hated anything that has to do with the beasts, it's obvious she didn't engaged herself in anything regarding the beasts "

" But master... " Kyle wanted to protest but Hayden cut him off.

" Don't bother me, let's get prepare. " He said dismissing his secretary who bow slightly before stepping out.

He let out a sigh when he was Alone.

He clenched his jaw tightly in annoyance and his eyes glows brightly.

She would know my true identity today.

" Oh! I really can't believe I'm going with you to the party. It's so great , i know the wealthy folks are only invited " Joyce beam at Isabella who sat quietly beside her in a luxurious car.

" Behave yourself, don't forget your mission Joyce. " Isabella murmured to her best friend. She felt very uneasy as the drive to the event continue. The thought of meeting the leader of the beast family makes her very nervous.

Earlier that morning , when she was having breakfast with her dad and step mother, her dad has made it known to her that her groom will be none other than the leader of the beasts.

She has been very shock to hear that from Martin who she strongly doubt to be her biological father.

" Why would you do this father ? " She has yell loudly at her dad in great shock. To think she would go into any Marriage with a beast, no a leader of the beast family as at that is very impossible.

" Or wait! Should i run away from home? I could go to Dense cress and live silently. I heard the country is very silent and peaceful. " Isabella suggested to her friend. Joyce roll her eyes before patting the beautiful lady beside her at the back.

" You are Isabella Martin, everyone recognize you. Given the way your dad has many allies, you will be found and brought back eventually. Just stay calm. I heard the leader of the beast family is arrogant but also caring. Even humans speaks about him in a good way. " Joyce said to her friend reassuringly. Isabella gave her a small smile but her nervousness does not lessen any bit.

The car finally stopped at the great hall. The chauffeur quickly get out and walk around to open the backseat door for Isabella who came out elegantly with her father stern voice playing in her head.

" Behave yourself today at the event and no mistake " he had said harshly to her.

Isabella look around half expecting to see any beast in sight but all she could lay her eyes on was luxurious cars and elegant ladies alongside with their man smiling happily.

She stood gazing at the entrance ruefully.

Should i run away? Now is the chance Isabella. Run !

" Hello beautiful " Isabella turn slowly ,her heart pounding loudly. Expecting to see the groom.

" Hello " She answered almost disappointed.

She stare at Leon distastefully, his blond curled hair tied at the back.

" I'm Leon Duvall, if I'm not mistaken you must be Isabella Martin... Right? " He said smiling never caring to hide the lust in his eyes.

Isabella stare at him for a while before nodding politely. Everyone knows Leon Duvall, he is the crazy scientist from research foundation. His dad Duvall, was a very wealthy man but not enough to match Martin's.

Hurriedly as if she couldn't stand another moment with Leon no longer she politely dismissed herself and walk into the hall.

Everywhere was busy with happy people smiling and having peaceful conversation. As she step into the hall she look around for her groom, not that she recognized him though but she couldn't find anyone that fit the profile of being a leader to all the beast. She found her Father smiling and speaking with a man whose eyes were steady. Her heart dropped to her stomach when the man look at her.

Oh no! That's the man i always dream about.
