CHAPTER FOUR: Shark on the boat

Hayden dark has been moody and silent ever since Isabella told him she hated the beast because they are evil.

Evil my foot! She should know better.

After they rented a big fishing boat. They sailed nicely on the clear water with some food.

Hayden knows much about boat, he instructed  Kyle and Isabella on what to do and the two obeys.

After cruising around the ocean for two hours , the whole adventure start getting boring.

Hayden start feeling sleepy.

" Here, i need to take a nap " He said to Kyle tiredly leaving the engine for his secretary to handle.

He walk into the boat which was made of high - gloss wood and luxuriously upholstery couches and chairs. It had a nice wide kitchen and a bedroom. A bathroom with showers, small living room with a dinning area as well.

Hayden walk into the bedroom to sleep. He hasn't been able to get any rest the previous night.

He had been out helping the humans as he always has. Their wail and cries was the only thing he couldn't ignore.

His eyelid dropped open at once and he slept off.

" We have caught many fishes. Don't you see? " Isabella said to kyle happily.

" You are right, i think it's okay for today. How about we head back ? " Kyle responded.

It turns out to be a Sunny day , his nose were red from the hot weather and he was feeling tired already.

" Sure " Isabella replied smiling she attempted to pull out her fishing rod but it suddenly became heavy. She grin excitedly. " I think i just caught a big fish " kyle left the what he was doing to get beside Isabella who was struggling to pull the fishing rod out of the water.

In a flick of a moment a very big shark pulled out from the water aggressively.

To say both Kyle and Isabella were scared will surely be an understatement.

They both storm into the boat and straight to the bedroom where Hayden was sleeping peacefully.

Their shouting awoke the leader of beast family.

" What is wrong ? " He asked urgently when Kyle and Isabella dash into the room.

" A shark ... A very big shark " Isabella yell her voice forming gradually into a sob.

Hayden stood up to go out.

" Where are you going ? " Isabella held his arm suddenly.

Hayden stopped to stare at her.

Oh i forgot she didn't know who i am.

" Outside, someone has to do something about the shark... Right ? " He said evenly.

Isabella grabbed him tightly.

" You will be killed. I know you are huge and handsome but this isn't an easy task. We should wait for help "

Hayden stare at Isabella and heat stirred in his vein.

She care about me.

There was a slight shift in Hayden's expression, a soft smile playing on his face, and Isabella frown deeply at the sight of him smiling when there is danger ahead. The boat give a shook and everyone  lost their balance .

When Isabella's back was turned to Hayden, he hit her from the back gently and Isabella passed out.

She caught her from falling and laid her gently on the bed.

Kyle understood what is going on. He knew Hayden does not wish for Isabella to see his real identity.

The shark outside shook the boat again and kyle coiled up at the edge of the bed in fear.

Hayden smile at his secretary.

So much like human's behavior. They are always scared.

He walk out of the bedroom to the shark.

Kyle who sat fearfully on bed could hear Beasty growling loudly as he fought the shark.

After some minutes everywhere was quiet.

The bedroom door open and Hayden emerges with blood dripping from his fingers.

" It's okay. I killed it " Hayden assured his secretary who smile to his face.

Isabella woke up hours later to the aroma in the air.

She sniffed " hmm that's my fish " she said dashing into the kitchen.

She opened the door to see Hayden in an apron while kyle was busy getting the dinner ready. It was dark and everywhere is silent.

They are still on the boat.

" What happened? " Isabella asked as she noticed the dark sky.

As usual kyle was the one who replied.

" When the shark attacked we hide in the bedroom until it goes away. When we went out we found ourselves in an unknown place. It is dark to locate anywhere so we will start our journey back home tomorrow morning "

Isabella sighed " Bad shark " she mumbled. she stepped into the kitchen to help out in making dinner.

" Here, the dishes " Hayden said to her.

" Yes captain " she replied and they both laugh.

" The table is set everyone except for a drink. Any wine please ? " Kyle yell from the dinning area.

" Sure, i got one " Isabella yell back providing the only wine available.

They all sat down to enjoy their dinner. After many minutes of eating, laughing and discussing Isabella packed the dishes to wash them.

Kyle who was very tired get into the living room and  the laid on the couch but Hayden woke him up when his sixth sense told him Kyle isn't comfortable.

" Go into the bedroom and sleep " he ordered Kyle who happily obey.

Isabella smile at both of them.

He sure is a nice Man.

She said before disappearing into the kitchen to get busy with the dishes. Hayden join her moment later to help out.

" Are you sure we can find our way home tomorrow? " Isabella asked smiling.

" Sure, why not? " Hayden replied. He watched as Isabella tried getting the glass cups in the shelf but she wasn't tall enough. " Here, let me help you " he offered , he received the glass cups from her delicate fingers and arrange it in an orderly manner on the shelf.

" We are done ! " Isabella announced before walking out of the kitchen.

Hayden walk out of the kitchen to Join Isabella outside. She stood under the moonlight thinking.

This is crazy. Why do i have this wierd feelings that i like this guy.

Hayden stood beside her, the cold breeze splashing on his face. His dark hair ruffled by the wind.

" I still find it hard to believe why a lady like you will go on a fishing trip with strangers " Hayden said gently.

" Strangers? I have no one else to go to and the fishing trip could ease my sad heart "

" Sad? Why would you be sad? "

Isabella smile softly " my father asked me to marry a beast and i refused. I know he won't listened to me since my suitor promise to invest in his company "

Hayden froze suddenly as he heard what Isabella just said.

Invest! Is that what father promised Isabella's dad.

" Why don't you want to marry a beast? They  might be many things but surely they are not evil " Hayden said slowly after finding his voice.

Isabella laughs bitterly. The sounds caused Hayden to clenched his hand into a fist

She is sad.

" I had this nightmares, i always have. It's about my mother murdered by a beast. I wondered why i keep having that same nightmares everytime i closed my eyes to sleep "

Hayden frown in surprise.

" Was your mother killed by a beast? "

" Yes, I'm sure of it. That reason is enough for me to decline the marriage proposal but since my father won't let me have my way i would want you to pose as my fiance."
