Sebastian POV

"I would like to invite a very special someone in our midst, please give it up for Sebastian the next alpha to the red moon packs." The host said even when I had warned him earlier not to mention my name but the deed had already been done, ignoring his invitation would be a disgrace to my pack.

I went up to the stage where all eyes were on me except those of my self-proclaimed mate, I immediately felt something was wrong as she was nowhere inside the hall and nothing could be the best explanation for this strange feeling if not the bond that mates share.

" Ehm… Sebastian, are you still with us? " the host's words snapped me out of my thoughts.

"You know how much I hate attention being drawn to me, so why call me out? " I asked.

" I'm sorry Sebastian but your father insisted I call you out." I wasn't even surprised as I was awaiting for my father was going to interfere but anyone who had seen me would know I wasn't pleased with it.

" What does he want? ".

"He wants you to tell us about your progress in getting a mate for yourself ".

I looked at everyone who also seemed to be curious about why I was still not mated except Jacob who had a mischievous smirk on his face.

" You don't need to worry about that anymore, I have seen a lady and I plan to make her my mate," I said, now it was my turn to have an evil smile on my face as Jacob's hardened.

" Who is this she-wolf that has penetrated her way through your iron heart? " The host asked. Now it was time to reveal the news that would possibly shock the life out of them.

" She is not she wolf but a human female ".

As expected everyone in the hall gasped except Jacob and Gabriel's daughter.

"I have never heard of an alpha having a human Luna but there's always room for ' first ', so where is she? ".

This was the question I was also asking myself, the feeling of danger was getting stronger and I couldn't see her anywhere.

" You don't need to know who she is, that's for me to know, " I said, clearly warning the host to mind his business. I had already passed too much information to the public ears giving my enemies ways how to pull me down through her.

" It's alright Se…..."

''What nonsense are you talking about, your Luna is over here " Jacob suddenly blurted while pointing at Gabriel's daughter who seemed angry that she was involved.

" I won't stay here to exchange words with a beta but that human will be mine," I said and left the hall not without people trying to stop me to dig for some information about the lady but I wasn't going to give them that chance.

The moment I laid my foot outside the hall I was blessed with the sight of her, the lady who had managed to appease my wolf at first sight, I had seen a lot of human females and she-wolves that were more beautiful and had better body shape than her but for an unknown reason, my wolf gets crazy just by the sight of her.

" I don't even know you, why are you doing this to me? ".

That was what I read from her lips as she talked to a lady who had the same body shape as Olivia but what made me crazy was the tears that were flowing down from her eyes non stop so I decided to approach them.

" Stay away from him " I heard the lady who had a very familiar voice say, as I drew closer to them I was shocked by who it was, Olivia, but why was she harassing a defenseless human, that was an offense in the pack.

"Why are you killing yourself over a man and… . . . "

The rest was history, her voice alone was enough to send me into a fairy tale where unicorns were real.

" How dare you? '' Olivia raised her hand to hit the human lady and there was no way I was going to allow that.

" What do you think you are doing? " I asked as I held her hands with aggression.

" Leave me alone Sebastian and let me show this thing why it is good to control her tongue. '' Olivia said.

" You dare not, she is my mate, hurting her means hurting me and you know what it means," I said, she tried to defend herself but I gave no room for that. "

Go inside the hall, I will see you later. '' I said to leave our presence. We were now alone but none of us had said anything to each other and I wasn't planning to say anything, staring at her face was enough for me except for the fact that she was tearing up making me wonder what Olivia must have said to her.

I asked her why she was crying and what Olivia had said to her but she refused to say anything before I asked her again.

" Tell me what did she say to you? ".

It was then she finally disclosed the reason Olivia came to her but she still didn't say what Olivia had said,

" It's all your fault, if you hadn't proclaimed me as your mate, this won't have happened ", this was enough for me to deduce what Olivia must have said especially with the fact that she was attracted to me.

'' Please can you leave me alone, I don't want trouble for the both of us " she said, I still didn't understand why she was not affected by my looks, If she didn't like me as a wolf, then she should at least be charmed by my looks. I told her that won't be possible and that very soon she would be mine.

" Excuse me for a moment," I said and left her. I didn't want the people who were coming out from the hall to see me talk so freely to her as they could easily deduce that she was the one that would be my mate since I hardly talk to females, especially humans.

The moment I got back to where I left her, she wasn't there, he had left.

" What a sneak girl, I will get you " I chuckled and entered the hall where she was seated with Jacob and Gabriel's daughter who seemed to continually press on the burnt hands of my luna.

" Hello! " I called for a service attendant.

" Yes sir ".

" You see that lady over there I want you to make up an excuse so she would come out of the hall. " The waiter looked at me as if I was saying rubbish but when I showed her a fat bundle of cash, her mood suddenly changed, indeed money changes the world.

" Do you mean the wolf or the human? " she asked, " the human and don't include my name " I said and left.

"Hello madam, ahh… "

When I said the waitress should make an excuse, I didn't mean for her to intentionally pour a drink on her dress but anyways I had no problem with that since it was still going to make her come out.

I patiently waited at the restroom since I was very sure she was going to come for a cleanup. ' But what will I say to her if I see her, she would think I am a stalker ' I thought so I did what popped first into my head, injuring myself with my claws.

As expected, she arrived but when she saw me she gasped in shock,

" Oh my goodness what happened to your hand? " she came rushing to me, with the way she had behaved, it seemed that she cared a lot about me or were humans always like that?

Anyways my plan worked, she was touching me and that was the best thing that had happened to me that day.

"May I? " I heard her ask, she started behaving quite strangely, her eyes no longer showed any emotion and that worried me.

" Of course," I said, she laid her whole palm on the affected area and a great sense of calmness and cool sensation came rushing into me but when she removed her hands, I was agape. Gone! , the injury was gone like nothing ever happened to my hands, ' humans don't have the ability to heal people except with the use of sorcery and she doesn't look like someone who was into things like that.

" Oh my goodness, your injury! " she said confusing me, she had just healed my self-inflicted injury and here she was acting weird but she seemed more confused as her eyes indirectly asked, ' where is the injury? '.

" Why look at me in such a manner, you were the one that healed me so why that look? " I said.

" I can't remember doing that, please can you excuse me " without waiting for my response she left, leaving her dress unattended to…
