Roman's hands on Jacob's neck got firmer. It was only a fool that wouldn't realize that Jacob had only a little time before he died. Quinn knew that she wouldn't be able to live with a clear conscience if Jacob ended up dead.

" Let go of him, he will die," Quinn screamed to the top of her voice but it was all in vain. Neither Sebastian nor Roman was ready to have any atom of mercy for Jacob. He had his chance and he wasted it.

Quinn's cry for pity brought a smile to Jacob's face. Even after what he did to her, she still had the heart to plead on his behalf. There was nothing more that could make him happier than that.

When she got no response from Roman, Quinn faced Sebastian. At least, she had an easy way to get to Sebastian.

" Don't tell me that you will let him die?" She said but Sebastian simply turn his head away from her.

He knew that if he kept staring at her, she might just convince him into letting Jacob go but Quinn was also not ready to give up.
