Chapter Four

Laura’s POV

I got a text from Nelly, I find her a bit weird though but maybe it could be because she is in a new school she will probably take time before she gets comfortable.

Message-

Nelly- Will you be coming to school tomorrow?

Laura-Yeah sure.

I didn’t bother seeing what she would type next, I dropped my phone and got back to watching the movie. Vicky picked out a movie for us, I trust Vicky to always pick a romantic movie. She picked ‘to all the boys I have loved before.’ I have watched the movie multiple times and I still love it.

“What if her sister didn’t leak those letters,” Bella asked while we were watching the movie.

“Then she won’t have the guts to speak to peter,” I replied. All the girls agreed with me, after we finished watching the movie, I switched off the lights and we went to sleep.

“Rise and shine princess. You got a text from your lover.” I heard a faint voice. I hate mornings, I’m sure we all hate mornings right?

“Wake up.” I heard another faint voice and a hand shaking me slightly. I cracked my eyes open, blinking slowly to adjust to the lighting of the room, Vicky and Mia were standing by my bed.

“What is wrong with you two?.” I sat up rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

“You got a text. Rick wants to know when you are coming to school.”

“You woke me up for that.” I looked at the clock, I still had an hour before school started, Rick has this stupid habit of coming to school earlier than usual.

“Yeah well, we can’t let lover boy wait.” Vicky teased.

“We are just friends, now let me sleep.” I laid back and covered my face with my blanket.

“Whatever you say, Laura, don’t come to us when he kisses you.” This time it was Mia that said that.

“You guys are annoying. Remember I have a date with his friends so I won’t be kissing Rick any time soon.” I regret saying that because Vicky and Mia screamed out loud, my ear will explode, those girls are so dramatic, it’s not like they are just finding out I’m going out with Hunter.

“So you mean something is going to happen between you and Hunter,” Vicky said. I took off the blanket from my head staring at her.

“I’m going to murder the two of you, leave me and go disturb Bella or Layla.” I turned to my side, Bella was fast asleep on her sleeping bag and Layla was spread across my couch.

“Fine, we will leave.” Oh, thank the angels.

I closed my eyes and let the darkness consume me.

“I hate school,” I said to Bella once we arrived at school, After I got a bit of sleep, Mia woke me up, we all took our bath and got dressed to come to school, I ordered us a cab.

“School is not that bad,” Bella said making Me, Mia Vicky, and Layla turns to look at her.

“Something is wrong with Mia.” Layla joked and the rest of us continued looking at her as if she has grown two heads.

“Stop staring,” Bella said.

“You love school for no reason. School is stupid and don’t try to convince me.” I said to Bella.

I got to my locker and grabbed my literature textbook.

“Here comes your Rick and Hunter.” Vicky deliberately whispered Hunter’s name into my ear.

Vicky, Mia and Bella, and Layla left before I could say anything, they are going to make things weird between Hunter and me.

Rick ran off and evolved me in a hug, I hugged him back looking at Hunter who was standing behind him, I figured Hunter is not a hug person.

“Why are you late?.” Rick asked.

“I’m not late, you just came early which is weird because who does that,” I said.

Hunter on the other hand stayed silent, isn’t he going to talk to me or something, I decided to ignore him since he won’t speak first.

“Fine, we have literature, you don’t want to be late for class.” I grabbed Rick’s hand and walked past Hunter.

I am been childish right now, yes.

Do I care? I don’t.

My girls, Rick, Hunter and I were majoring in the same course, thank goodness for that I can get notes from multiple people. The first class was boring, I hate literature I hate every subject what the hell I’m I even doing in school?  Vicky, Layla, Mia, and Bella all sat together on the other side of the room, I noticed Nelly wasn’t in class while I sat with Rick, and behind us was Hunter. I had no idea why he didn’t sit with us.

An hour passed the next class had already started, I was pretending to pay attention when a felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Hunter, he passed me a note.

“Why are you ignoring me.” The note says.

Is he serious right now?

“I’m not ignoring you, you are the one ignoring me Hunter.” I wrote back and passed the note to him. After a minute I felt another tap and a note was passed.

“Then I guess we were ignoring each other without knowing it. I’m sorry though.”

Aww, he is so sweet.

“I’m sorry too. So we are still up for tonight?.” I wrote back. The students sitting by our sides knew something is going on but Rick, on the other hand, is so focused on the class he isn’t paying attention to what is going on between Hunter and me.

The note came back to me, Hunter confirmed we were still going out and he wrote his number on the paper. I never realized I didn’t have his number, I added his number to my contact list and saved it.

God, when will this boring class end?

“That’s the end of the class guys.” Once she said that Rick, Hunter, and I walked out of the class.

“Remember my plans guys.” I rolled my eyes when he said that. We planned on ditching school today and I’m excited.

“Where will we be going after we ditch school, we can’t roam around aimlessly,” Hunter said.

“It’s a surprise, you guys are going to love it,” Rick said.

Well hope we don’t end up in jail
