Strange

Hunter’s POV

“How did this happen?.” My wolf asked once I got to the healer’s home, it was located in the middle of the forest. I stood by the door watching as Mike growled in pain, he was attacked and he got hurt around his shoulder, Lucas and Luke stood by the side. 

“We don’t know Alpha, you have to ask Mike when he wakes up, we were in the house when Mike said he would be going to check out something when he left, he didn’t come up for ten minutes so we decided to check for him when we heard his wolf cry,” Lucas said. 

My wolf stared at them, I was pissed off about everything, Mike is the youngest in the pack, how could they let him out alone. 

“When he said he would check on something. You didn’t ask.” I directed the question to Lucas, he was the oldest in the pack apart from me.

“No Alpha.” He said, my wolf growled I can’t lose control, I suppressed my anger, I was more scared something would happen to poor Mike. 

“When would he wake up?.” I asked the healer, she is an old woman around the age of 60-70, she saved my life, and ever since I trusted her, she is like a mother to me, I just hope she can cure Mike. 

“He is fine, by tomorrow morning he would be awake, his arm is badly hurt.” She said, I nodded. It’s a relive Mike is fine. 

I walked out of the small hut, I calmed myself down.

“It’s good Mike is fine.” My wolf said.

“I know,” I replied, my body began to shape back into a human form, my fur was replaced by my skin and my eyes turned back into the normal brown. 

“We are sorry we should have been careful.” I heard a voice from behind when I turned it was Lucas and Luke stood beside him. 

“It’s fine we just have to be careful next time, we can’t go out without any of us knowing where exactly we will be. It’s dangerous they can harm us anytime and I think they are responsible for everything that happened to Mike.” I said in a dominating voice, I won’t be able to forgive myself if anything happens to any of them because of my past mistakes. 

“We will be careful Alpha,” Luke said, I smiled at him. 

“You might want to wear something,” Lucas said, I looked down to see my naked glory, fucking asshole. 

“Get me something to wear, I will wait here till Mike wakes up, you two can go home,” I said in a firm voice, they knew it was not up for discussion, I’m staying, and I can skip school tomorrow it shouldn’t be a problem. 

Luke came back in a few minutes, he got me a pair of shorts, I quickly wore them and got back into the hut.

If it’s they are responsible for doing this to Mike I won’t be holding back this time, I will fight and I will make sure to give them an answer.

Laura’s POV 

Once Hunter dropped me back home, I wasn’t expecting to see the girls in my living room.

They all sat on my couch, and talk about getting comfortable.

“Hey, guys,” I said once I recovered from the shock of seeing all of them here. 

“She is back,” Layla screamed fucking hell she wants to destroy my ability to hear. 

“Tell us everything,” Vicky said. 

“Jesus you need to calm down, I need to freshen up and get into comfortable clothes then I will tell you guys,” I said. 

“Be fast I want to hear everything,” Mia said I know exactly what she wants to hear but too bad nothing happened between Hunter and me. 

I was about to tell her nothing like that happened when someone walked out of my kitchen, I wasn’t expecting her of all people to be in my house at this hour, we aren’t close friends why was she here?.

“She invited herself,” Vicky whispered into my ear making me stop looking at Nelly. 

“Oh, she didn’t inform me she is coming. That’s weird we have known each other for just two days and I didn’t even get to see her today in school. She acts weird though. 

“Oh, you are back,” Nelly said once she sat on the couch, I can see the girls didn’t like her at all, it’s obvious from all the constant glaring. 

“Yeah, I would just freshen up and get back,” I said taking Vicky with me. Once we got to my room I shut the door.

“Did she give any reason why she came?.” I whispered, I didn’t want anyone else to hear this conversation. 

“She said she wanted to meet up, so she decided to come here and meet you.” 

“I can’t remember telling her my address,” I said to Vicky, something is definitely wrong with that girl. 

“You got yourself a stalker, we will figure out how she got your address just get down alright,” Vicky muttered. 

Once she left, I took a quick shower and got dressed into my PJs, I glanced at my phone I haven’t received a text from Hunter, maybe I should call him or I should text asking about his mom’s health. I decided to send him a quick text asking him if his mom is alright, I felt bad for him I just hope she would be fine. 

“I’m here,” I announced once I got to the living room, all the girls smiled, they love to gossip. 

I sat on one of the couches looking at their creepy smiling faces, Nelly seemed like the only one that wasn’t smiling, what is wrong with her? 

“First off Mia, we didn’t do anything you are thinking of,” I said which made Mia roll her eyes dramatically. 

“Tell us everything,” Vicky yelled, she needs to calm down.

I told them everything that happened, from how the days started to when Hunter had to leave because of his mother’s health.

“He is so sweet,” Bella said, Alongside her studies Bella loves romantic things that’s why whenever we hang out we end up watching a romance movie. 

“I know, he did we are going on another date.”

“He likes you, he does,” Mia said. 

“Shut up.”

“She is blushing,” Vicky added, they were all teasing me. 

Nelly, on the other hand, hasn’t said anything since I told everyone about Hunter, she remained in her seat, she looked like she is thinking about something. 

Later that night, the girls and I watched a movie before we retired to go to sleep, Nelly didn’t watch the movie with us, she said she had something to do then he left, a really weird being. 

The next day, Mia, Vicky, Layla, Bella and I went to school we had only two classes today, Hunter hasn’t replied to the message I sent last night and he didn’t reply to the one I sent this morning, maybe his mother is terribly sick and he left his phone unattended, Rick, on the other hand, didn’t attend school today he texted me saying he came down with a cold and Hunter also didn’t come to school today and Nelly didn’t also no surprise to that, that girl is weird, something is up with her.

“Shouldn’t you be a good girlfriend and visit Hunter to check up on him,” Mia said once we got out of school.

“Not his girlfriend Mia,” I said.

“But you want to be,” Layla added.

Do I want to be, I don’t know. 

“Shut up you’ll.” 

“You are still going to visit him aren’t you,” Vicky asked. 

“I don’t know we just went on one date I don’t want to come off desperate,” I said I didn’t want Hunter thinking I’m trying to play his girlfriend role. 

“She is right, you should just text and call, that should do for now,” Bella added.

“I am going to Rick’s house,” I said to the girls, I had to check up on that idiot, and maybe if I’m lucky I would find Hunter there. God, I sound like a lovesick person I need to get Hunter out of my mind.
