It was a sunny morning in the Robin's house. The rays of the sun had passed through the broken glass that was placed in the room as a window.
The cold winter breeze blew like never before. It was snowing and it made everyone and everywhere freeze.
The chirpings of the birds weren't that pleasing to the ears because of the cold.
Crystal who had sobbed all night laid on her bed with her torn bedsheet which could barely cover her up from her head to her toe.
She squeezed her body on her tiny bed like a rejected child. She had her black socks on which was going to help her prevent the cold winter breeze from penetrating into her system for a while.
"I hate Fridays!!" she mumbled grumpily as she tried to prevent the cold.
She had no curtains and her window couldn't close properly so she had a lot of chances of getting sick for the day.
She opened her eyes slowly and the first object she saw was her badly fixed window. She became angry and mad at her aunt for putting her in such situation.
She would have lived comfortably in her home if they had not sold it while she was away.
She sat up on her bed with her face all swollen and her eye balls looking all red.
It was obvious that she had cried all night because of her break up with Jack the previous day.
She came back home and all she could do was regret the first day she spoke with Jack.
She had been working for Jack not because she couldn't get a job somewhere else but because she loved him and felt that working for him would make him happy.
Crystal had displeased herself a lot of times just so Jack would be proud of her. But as the saying goes, "What's not yours will never stay for long" .
She released a soft sigh at the thought of this statement. "I wish I could turn the clock around and say a lot of things to him" she snorted.
"And what are you still doing mopping around your room like you could get a house??" Crystal turned to the door while she sat down on her bed thinking about Jack.
It was Aunty Lucy at it again. She never does the chores and yet she gets paid for it .
"Am coming Aunty" Crystal responded to her aunt who was ready to bounce on her as usual.
Crystal was eighteen years old and old enough to know what she wanted but her aunt had refused to let her be for the mean time.
She would always call crystal a little child who still needed to be directed in the right part.
She was turning 20 in few months time and her aim was to live alone and make new friends while she finds out about her parents death.
Crystal stood up from her weak scattered looking bed and walked pass her aunt. She was emotionless and had no fear about anything.
She quickly did the dishes and when it was time to eat , she ate her food. She lived her Friday as a slave doing a lot of chores on her own.
Red was in his room arranging his documents. He had visited his dad's company and had seen how everywhere was a mess.
No one knew his true identity because he wasn't putting his mask on as usual. He went to different departments in his dad's company and discovered that A lot of workers were lagging behind.
He had decided to take the responsibility of making the GT ENTERPRISE a better place to work and make more profits.
He was rude and ruthless so seeing him in the company would make a lot of workers behave themselves.
He had spoken to his dad about resuming his position as the CEO and it was accepted by his dad.
His brother Davin wasn't at home. He had been sent out of the mansion to another state so he could focus on a particular business.
Mr. Robin was only trying to be the best father he could ever be and it was working out.
"A cup of almond juice at the table Blondie" Red ordered rudely as he walked out of the kitchen to the table.
He saw Crystal doing the dishes and all he wished for was to pay her back for trying to murder him at the coffee store even though she wasn't aware he was the one.
She grumbled as she took a glass and poured his juice inside it . She took it to him at the table and when she was about leaving, he stopped her.
"Don't you think you should do the right thing?" he scolded rolling his eyes.
She immediately obeyed when she understood what he meant and stood at a place.
Hearing him say such to her reminded her of the café which Jack owned.
He had spoken exactly like the same guy with a scar on his eyes from the café.
Red knowing what he wanted delayed the process of drinking his juice or tea.
He smirked when he saw her shaking as she stood at a spot. The house was cold and she had no jacket on .
"Can I go in sir?" she inquired immediately she saw him finish his drink.
"Yeah " he nodded his head. He had only let her off the hook because he needed some time alone .
She grabbed his glass and ran over to the kitchen. Getting into the kitchen, she thought about a lot of things she has been going through for the past few months and years.
"I don't think I can take or endure all this shits anymore" She spoke out angrily.
She couldn't let Red , her aunty and uncle keep on treating her like some trash.
Crystal made her final decision and hurriedly, she finished her chores, made her way to her bathroom and got dressed to leave the house.
She went to her aunt's room to tell her she was going out but unfortunately, Aunt Lucy wasn't in her room.
"Where must she be ?" Crystal wondered.
She ignored her aunt's absence and went off to her destination.
"GT Enterprise" She stated clearly to the driver and in no time, she was at GT Enterprise.
She had decided to go apply for a job at the company and not just any company but The Robin's company.
Red was going to be the CEO in the company soon but she wasn't aware of it. She knew her boss was a billionaire but didn't know his source of income.
She submitted her application form and decided to leave the company before she was going to be scolded for leaving the house.
"Aunty??" she paused looking surprised when she saw Aunt Lucy coming out from a room in the company.
"What the fuck is she doing here?" she inquired as she took few steps backwards so she could hide from her aunty.
She slipped and was about falling to the ground but then she was offered a hand.
It was Red's hand and he had been monitoring her from afar for a while.
He was willing to prevent her from falling to the ground but the opposite was the case.
Her weight had pulled him down and immediately, he landed on top of Crystal in a dark room.
Their lips were pressed on each others lips and with shock , Crystal left her eyes wide open.
Oh My God. She spoke within herself.
The wind blew with so much peace within it, making the trees wave their branches in thanksgiving. The birds flew off the trees to go get what they would have for the day with so much joy . A lady’s hands are crossed in a little room though fancy. She walks around the room endlessly thinking about what to do next. She was restless like she was about losing a soul in her family. She released a heavy sigh in frustration and stepped out of the room immediately. She climbs the stairs and walks up to a new room door. She opens it and her facial expression changes . She suddenly looked disgusted seeing that the little girl she was about talking to was still sleeping. She suddenly walked out of the room but returned back few minutes later with a big bucket of water in her hands. &ld
“Hello miss, don’t you think it’s time to come study? I’ve been waiting for ages” Mrs. Bethy asked knocking on Crystal’s door. She was one of the best teacher in Crystal’s school and she trained Crystal too. So she knew almost everything about Crystal and how to treat her. “Go away!!” Crystal yelled out with a pillow on top of her head. She had tried forgetting the fact that her parents left without her but couldn’t. “I hate this life!” She mumbled to herself still in her room. “Come on Crystal, you still have the whole year to go out with them, just come down let’s study. Your exam is in three days time.” Mrs. Bethy begged . Crystal sat up on her bed hearing that her exams were coming up soon enough. She just
“The train is about to be crashed Mark, what should we do now?” Rose who was scared to death asked . She just couldn’t bare the fact that she was going to lose her little babies to the cold hands of death. She wished she had never embarked on such journey and had began to blame Mark her husband for what was about happening to them. “You caused all these Mark. I should have just declined this silly decision of yours when you came up with it!” She blamed him with a sad look on her face. “Oh no Rose, you can’t accuse me for what I didn’t do intentionally. We both accepted it and we had to embark on this journey” He returned looking at her with a cold gaze. Before he could turn to look at his kids, he blacked out . They had crashed into another train and it wasn’t a funny a
Six Years later…… It was just barely seven years since Crystal’s family died and was buried. She cried her eye balls out thinking they would come back to life during the burial. But it was of no just use. “Now I’m all alone in this cold world , going through pain and hell mom, just because of what I had said that day” she whispered. She had the fear that she was responsible for her family’s death. She could still remember how she had wished they never ever came back to the house before she slept off that day. She kept on blaming herself for their death because of the wrong Choice of words she used. “I miss you so much mom, I don’t think I can continue staying in this wicked world” She murmured. Robin's Home. It was the brightest day in the house of the Robinson's family. Mr. And Mrs. Robinson had kept a bright smile on so as to welcome different guests that had kept on trooping into their house. There were exciting sounds and cheers from different individuals that walked into the house with so much joy in their hearts. The black long speaker which was placed close to the television set in their sitting room kept on releasing nice music that were pleasant to their ears. It was the twenty fourth day in the month of November precisely nine Thirty four AM in the morning. Four years later in the Robin's house:: "Good m…." Crystal who was hurrying to go into the kitchen tried greeting but then Red interrupted her kind gestures. "Will you get your filthy face off my sight this minute!!" He ordered in a rude tone. He got disgusted seeing how she had ran out from no where and bumping into him. He disliked it when humans who weren't related to him acted all weird more especially when it was a female gender. His hands were fixed into his blue jean pockets and his gaze on Crystal was cold. She felt shirtless as she stood in front of him. She prayed that the ground would be divided into two and swallow her up so she could escape his cold gaze. She always heard about Red, the billionaire's son but she had never encountered him before. It was her first time meeting him face to face. She had always wondered what his real face looked like though. "You don't get it right!!" he bellowed pulling Crystal out of her tho
"Crystal!!!" Jack who was already mad and furious at the scene Crystal had caused yelled out on top of his voice. The customers in the store had left the café because of how noisy and dangerous it looked. Everyone paused for a while as they turned to look at their boss . He was burning from inside but tried to hide it. Red forced Crystal's hands off his hair and he left without saying a word to her. He got to his car , climbed into it and drove out of sight. He had decided to go to his father's company to chill off since he was going to be the next CEO in the company. "What the hell do you think you were doing Crystal ?" Jack inquired as he took a step in front of the other close to Crystal. Jack was a kind hearted young man. He loved Crystal with all his heart and had vowed never to hurt her no matter what. He made different promises to her about their relationship and he worked towards keeping it. Seeing the mess that Crystal
