Samantha's POV

“Stop drinking now,” she whispered. Diego tried to grab the glass of drink in my hand by moving it away. He glared at me, looking mad, but I just laughed.

“Why? You're drinking too,” I whispered back. I pouted. I felt my face redden. Everyone was drinking at their own tables.

“Your wife is such an adorable lady,” Zania said. Zania and Merrick were at the same table with us. Merrick is also a businessman where Diego invested in his company.

“Thank you, Zania. We're both adorable,” I told her. I felt a little bit dizzy but I could still manage to control myself.

Merrick poured another drink in Diego's glass. He was about to drink it when I took it from him.

“This actually tastes good,” I complimented. I could see Diego glaring at me, but I just smiled at him.

“Sorry about her. Please excuse us,” Diego stood up and grabbed my hand. I waved to Zania before leaving them at the table. Diego kept on walking while pulling my hand.
