Samantha’s POV

“Why are you late?” Diego asked me as I came inside. Anna and Jane were trying to invite me for a girls' night, but I refused because Oldie, my husband, would get mad. Anyway, he couldn't do anything if I wanted to.

“Looking around?” I hesitated to tell. Before I walked through this room, I made sure Andrew's condominium was close. I don't want him to see me walking. It's not that I'm scared he might find out about what I did; it's just that I'm not comfortable with that room now.

We had been in a two-year relationship before, but I never knew he was actually staying here. I thought he was staying at his parents' house. That's what he told me. He made me believe his lies.

“I’m asking you,” he told me. I turned to look at him. He slightly furrowed his brows while looking at me with judgment.

I rolled my eyes and walked towards him. “I didn't drink,” I told him before sitting on the couch.

“So you want to eat outside?” he asked
