Samantha’s POV

I bit my lips while looking out of nowhere. I was like an idiot thinking about our kiss last night. I didn't expect him to kiss me back. I didn't even think of kissing him passionately; it was just going to be an act, like pressing both our lips together.

"I'm going now," Diego said while fixing his tuxedo. I stood up from the bed when I saw his necktie wasn't fixed properly.

"When will you come home?" I asked him. I also fixed his hair and sword sweetly. He stared into my eyes.

"What? Do I have dirt on my face?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"Nothing. Remember what I told you, okay? No drinking. When I came back, you should already be here," he grabbed his suitcase. I nodded my head like a kid while watching him prepare his things.

"Got it. I'll just go to my cousin's house," I told him. He stood up and glanced at me.
