27. Jared's Charm

Caroline sighed harshly. She looked left and right at the side of the road, hoping Jared's car would come. She was very nervous now, feeling anxious because it was almost nine o'clock at night. She was worried that Jared would forget their appointment because he wasn't usually this late.
