Real Condition

"How is Eren, are you happy to see all this?" asked Doctor Richard.

         "Very delighted. I can't wait to do it. Let's start now!" said Eren excitedly.

         “Okay, but before we train your physique, there are a few things you should know Eren. Let's follow us," said Catherine, leading Eren to a small room in the corner of the hall.

It turned out that in the room, there was already Professor Alex waiting for the three of them.

         "Good morning Eren," said Professor Alex with a smile. Eren was slightly surprised by the presence of Professor Alex.

         "Good morning Prof..." said Eren.

         "Please come in Eren..." said Professor Alex while directing Eren to sit on the chair that was provided in the room. Doctor Catherine and Doctor Richard came in and sat in the room.

         "Okay welcome Eren. Welcome to the Hope program. Before you take part in various exercises in this place, I will tell you how the actual condition of the earth is today," said Professor Alex while turning on a projector screen.

         "Okay Professor..." said Eren with a serious face.

         "As you know yourself. The current state of the earth is not good. The 'S' virus that appeared about fifteen years ago is messing up our entire world. All government efforts from around the world, cannot stop the spread of this 'S' virus. I don't know how many million people have lost their family members due to this deadly virus,” said Professor Alex while showing some pictures on his projector screen. On the projector screen it was shown how the world was messed up by the 'S' virus. Looting and crime occurred everywhere due to mass panic. Eren looked at it all with a sad look.

         “Well Eren, the state of the world is already so broken. Therefore two years ago, governments from all over the world joined forces to solve this problem. They founded a program called Hope. And coincidentally I was appointed as the project head of the Hope program,” explained Professor Alex. Eren nodded his head as he listened to Professor Alex's words.

         "Is there something you want to ask Eren?" asked Professor Alex.

         "No Prof. Please continue," replied Eren briefly.

         "Okay then. So this Hope program aims to save humanity from extinction. We have tried various ways to remove this 'S' virus, but this virus is spreading too fast that we cannot stop it from spreading. Every day, thousands of people die or are exposed to this virus. We have tried everything to fix it, but now it's too late."

         "So what can I do if it's too late?" asked Eren curiously.

         “Well, since this period is irreversible, Professor Alex made a time machine to go back in time. Maybe Professor Alex has told you this briefly. But I will explain this in more detail to you now," said Doctor Catherine. This time it was Doctor Catherine who gave a presentation to Eren.

         “How can I return to the past? Isn't that something impossible?" asked Eren a little confused.

         "In the past it was impossible, but thanks to the hard work of Professor Alex and his team, he managed to make a time machine to return to the past," answered Doctor Catherine.

         "What? Making a time machine?” asked Eren in surprise.

         “Yes, Professor Alex for the past few years, worked hard to build this time machine. This is our only hope Eren. We have to go to the past to change this fallen world,” said Doctor Catherine while looking at Professor Alex who was sitting.

         "Okay, I understand. But there is one thing I want to ask Prof.

         "What do you want to ask?" asked Professor Alex.

         "Has this time machine been used before?"

         “Hmm… Since you've officially joined the Hope program, I'll be honest with you Eren. This time machine has never been used on a human scale,” replied Professor Alex with a slightly worried look on his face.

         “Human scale? What does it mean? I don't understand," said Eren confused.

         "Hmm, so this is Eren. I will be honest with you. The time machine that I made is not one hundred percent perfect. I've tried sending inanimate objects into the past and it's worked a few times. I also once sent a live mouse, but some failed and some managed to go to the past,” replied Professor Alex plainly.

         "Oh I see. Then the rat that failed to the past, what happened to it?" asked Eren curiously.

         "Hmm he disappeared Eren. And I can't give it back anymore,” said Professor Alex, lowering his face slightly. Eren immediately fell silent hearing Professor Alex's explanation.

         “Why are you so silent like that Eren? Are you scared after hearing the story from Professor Alex?” asked Doctor Catherine.

         "Hmm no, I'm not afraid Doc. I was determined to save this world from destruction. I will take any risk,” said Eren with full confidence.

         "Good then. Hopefully you are the one who can save this world from destruction," said Doctor Catherine.

         “Eren, there is one more thing you should know. You know every day thousands of people are exposed to this 'S' virus. We are really pressed for time. The Hope program can only run for two more months. If this program fails, then the world's governments will close all these facilities. And what's worse, the world has no hope of recovery," said Professor Alex.

         "Hmm, that means we have to carry out this mission!" said Eren with determination.

         "Okay now you follow me. You have to fill in some data first,” Doctor Catherine replied. Doctor Catherine invited Eren out of the room.

         "Thank you Prof for the explanation," said Eren as he said goodbye.

         "It's okay Eren. Thank you also for joining this program. I hope everything goes well,” replied Professor Alex with a smile. Doctor Catherine, Doctor Richard and Eren left Professor Alex alone in the room.

         Doctor Catherine took Eren to another room not far from the previous room.

         "Please have a seat, Eren, you fill in your personal data here," said Doctor Catherine while handing an electronic device resembling a tab the size of a notebook. Eren immediately filled in his data on the electronic device.

         "Okay it's done. What's next?" asked Eren.

         “Okay now we go back to the hall. I will introduce you to the team that is there," answered Doctor Catherine.

         "Teams? What team?” asked Eren a little confused.

         "You just follow me now," said Doctor Catherine with a smile.
