The Team

“Okay now we go back to the hall. I will introduce you to the team that is there," answered Doctor Catherine.

"Teams? What team?” asked Eren a little confused.

"You just follow me now," said Doctor Catherine with a smile. 

Eren followed Doctor Catherine and Doctor Richard. He is met by several men and women who wear the same uniform as Eren. They consist of 2 men and two women. Their age is not much different from Eren.

“Team, this is Eren. He is a new member of the Jaguar team," said Doctor Catherine introducing Eren.

"Hi, my name is Eren. Nice to meet you all," said Eren as he extended his hand to get acquainted.

"Hello Eren, my name is Zoya," said a woman who shook Eren's hand. Zoya is a woman who has a unique appearance. Her hair was cut short like a boy's haircut and her hair was fiery red. The body is small but has strong muscles. She looks tomboy compared to women in general.

"Hey Eren. My name is Miyuki. Pleased to meet you. I hope you feel comfortable here," said Miyuki with a smile. Miyuki's appearance was very different from Zoya's. Miyuki's hair was long, black and well-groomed. She wore bright red lipstick and polished her face with a thick powder. Miyuki looked much more feminine than Zoya.

After shaking hands with the two women of different characters, Eren extended his hand to one of the men who were there.

"Hey Eren. I'm Ben," said Ben, shaking Eren's hand quite tightly. Ben is tall and big. His muscles were clearly visible. His face looks fierce. There is a scratch on the right side of his cheek.

"Hi Ben, nice to meet you," said Eren with a slight smile. There is one more person that Eren invites to get acquainted. Eren extended his hand back to the man. The man kept his hands folded and didn't want to shake Eren's hand.

"My name is Jacob," the man said, looking coldly at Eren's face. He didn't seem too happy with Eren's presence at that time. Jacob's appearance looks quite athletic. He was tall, slender but muscular. Her black hair was tied back.  

"Hi Jacob, nice to meet you," said Eren, pulling his hand back. 

"Okay, now everyone is acquainted. The four of you, please guide Eren to practice. From today he will be with you. Don't bully him. He is just as important as all of you,” Doctor Catherine warned.

"Okay Doc," replied the three people. Only Jacob remained silent.

"Okay, Eren, now I'm staying, okay. From now on, you will spend more time with them,” said Doctor Catherine while looking at Eren's face.

"Yes Doc. Thank you," said Eren with a smile. Doctor Catherine and Doctor Richard leave Eren with four new friends.

"Eren, how long have you been here?" asked Miyuki to start the conversation.

“Hmm, I don't remember exactly how long I've been here. Because I was unconscious for a while," Eren answered honestly.

"Oh I see. Why are you unconscious?" asked Zonya curiously.

"Maybe he's scared to see 'that creature', hehehe..." said Ben jokingly.

"I was actually attacked by that creature Ben," replied Eren with a serious face.

"What? You were attacked by that creature? Then how did you survive?” Miyuki asked in surprise.

"Honest. I also don't know how I survived. The last thing I remember is that my friend and I were attacked by those creatures. My friend and I tried our best to avoid the creatures. But all our efforts were in vain. We were surrounded by the creature in an old building. We can't do anything anymore," 

"Hmm, where is your friend?" asked Ben curiously.

"Oh she didn't survive, Ben," said Eren, lowering his face. Eren's face immediately turned gloomy when he remembered his friend who died as a result of the creatures' attacks. 

"Oh I'm sorry to hear that," said Ben.

"It's great that you survived. Looks like you have special abilities like us” said Zoya. Jacob looked at Eren suspiciously.

"Special ability? What are you talking about? I don't understand," said Eren confused.

"Hey, we'll talk about that later. Now let's practice first. If we don't, Doctor Catherine will scold us," said Ben, interrupting the conversation.

"Oh yes. Come on, Eren, let's start the practice. Now let's jog around the hall first," said Miyuki. Miyuki looked the most friendly towards Eren. While Jacob is the most indifferent to Eren. He didn't speak a word to Eren.

"Okay let's start..." said Eren. 

The Jaguar team consisting of Eren, Zoya, Ben, Miyuki and Jacob started their training that morning. They began to run lightly around the large and spacious hall. Eren who hasn't exercised in a long time looks tired when he's only been around the hall for two rounds. His breath was starting to hitch and his steps were starting to feel heavy.

"Come on Eren, cheer up. We usually do this a minimum of five laps,” Miyuki said while running next to Eren.

"Heh yes. Sorry I haven't exercised in a long time. You guys run first. No need to wait for me," said Eren with a heavy breath.

"Okay then. We'll catch up later," said Miyuki. The four members of his team ran ahead of Eren who was starting to walk heavily.

"Looks like he won't last long here," Jacob said as he stared coldly at Eren who had been left behind.

"Hey, don't be like that. This is his first day. We were all like that on our first day too. Isn't that right Zoya?" Miyuki asked while looking at Zoya who was running side by side next to Miyuki.

"Yeah, I remember Jacob's first day here. He forced a run for five straight laps. And you know what, after that he vomited, hahaha..." Zoya said while laughing out loud. Ben and Miyuki also laughed at Zoya's story.

"Yeah yeah laugh all you can," Jacob protested.

Before long, Zoya, Jacob, Ben and Miyuki had finished their five laps of jogging. The four of them sat on the floor of the hall to take a break to drink.

"Look. Eren didn't give up. Even though he was struggling, he still kept running,” said Ben. The other two friends stared at Eren from a distance with admiration except for Jacob. He sneered at Eren's persistence and struggle.

A few minutes later, Eren had finished his five laps of jogging. His body was covered in sweat. His breath was heavy.

"How are you Eren, it looks like you are very tired" asked Ben who was sitting next to Eren.

"Yeah, pretty much Ben. Maybe it's because I haven't been exercising much lately, hosh hosh…” Eren answered with his breath coming out of breath.

"Hehehe, this is just Eren's warm-up. We still have ten more exercises to do,” said Ben, laughing a little. 

"What?! There are ten more?!” said Eren surprised.
