The Forbidden Promise

‘Someone knocks on the door’Eileen opened her eyes. She stood up and opened the door. “Leen! Thank goodness you opened the door. Why aren’t you in class?” She was shocked to see Ms. Cortez in front of her door. “I don’t feel g-good”“Ok, go to Building 1 tomorrow.” Eileen closed the door after. She looked at the clock and it’s 11:00 In the evening. Three days have passed and Tracey recovers and starts taking classes but Eileen keeps her distance from Carson because of the incident. After class, Eileen went to the library to look for a book that tells about promises. She can’t find a book that talks about the forbidden promise that Tracey told her. She went to Amana’s office, but she saw Adrian, Carson,  Amana, and Tracey chilling there as soon as she entered. “Leen?” Everyone looked at Eileen but she didn't care.“Sorry I didn’t knock anymore” “Do you need anything?” Amana asked“I need to talk to you.” She said that made Amana worried. She looked around but Amana gave her the look that she can be assured.

Eileen went to the library and took some books about promises. She forgot about what happened yesterday; she's busy trying to figure out how to awaken her promise. After reading some books, she went to the cafeteria. Looking for a table to sit, she saw  Tracey waving at her with a smile on her face. “So, How’s your training?” Amana asked. Carson put his jacket on, when everything was ready he went outside and locked the door. He glanced at Eileen’s door and continued his way to Amana’s office. He knocked and the door opened. He asked her about the task that was given to him, his task was to stop a man that was hiding in one abandoned factory in the city. “Adrian will meet you there and you should go back with him,” he’s on a mission today.The man has a hostage with him, which is his girlfriend who knows nothing about promises. Carson must defeat the promise user and take the hostage to the academy to heal her and take her memory about promises. Carson went outside, he put his hood on and drove to the place. Kevin walked her to her room. “This is my room.” Eileen was about to go in but he grabbed her hand, she looked at him with confusion. “Nothing.” he said but he didn’t let go of her hand. “You can let go now.” Eileen smiled. “Leen?” She withdrew her hand and faced Amana, They’re from Carson’s room. They were shocked from what they saw. “ Who are you?” Carson asked. “ Guys, this is Kevin. Kevin, these are my friends.” Kevin offered his hand but Carson didn’t accept it. Tracey greeted him and Kevin smiled. They went to the garden to talk about what to do for the camp. Both Tracey and Eileen don’t know about training camp because they are in their first years. While they were talking about what to do and what it’s like being in camp, Carson stood up and walked away. Eileen followed him, everyone continued talking.
