Chapter 4: Right to become a mother

Mark didn’t know what happened to Sara but he was sure that she must have gone to the hospital to see Adam. He rushed towards the hospital on his way, at the roundabout he pressed his foot on the break and looked at the front in panicked.

The car Sara was driving was crashed in the tree in front of his and Sara’s body was lying in it, her face was covered with blood. He came out of the car and ran towards his beloved woman. He carefully pulled her out of the car and was about to run back to his car when he heard a woman cry.

“AH help me, AH”

Mark looked back and saw a pregnant woman lying near the car. Her whole body was covered with bruises and blood, belly looks like 9 months old. Looking at her condition he was cleared that Sara hit her. He carried Sara to his car, placed her in the co-pilot seat, and then went back picked up the pregnant woman and placed her at the back seat of his car, and took them both to the hospital. On his way, he made a call and informed the hospital to be prepared. When he reached the hospital, the hospital staff was already waiting for him at the entrance. Mark and nurses placed Sara and the pregnant woman on the stretchers and pushed them inside the operation theatre.

Mark was sitting in front of the operation theatre looking at his hands covered with blood in a daze. At this time Raymond and Melody came with Mike. “Mark”, Melody said and hugged Mark’s head, Mark was still in a daze he didn’t reply to her. A doctor came out of the operation theatre and stood in front of Mark.

“Mr. Wilson”, the doctor called him.

Hearing his voice, Mark came back to his sense he stood up and asked anxiously, “How is she?”

“Mrs. Wilson is fine but”, doctor hesitated.

“But what?”, Melody asked.

“We tried our best to the safe baby but in the accident, Mrs. Wilson’s uterus was damaged very badly. I’m sorry to inform you that we were unable to save the baby and Mrs. Wilson won’t be able to conceive in the future.”, the doctor explained.

“BOOM”

Mark felt like his brain exploded, his legs trembled, he placed his hand on the wall to prevent himself from falling.

“Son”, seeing her son in pain Melody shouted. At the same time, nurses pushed Sara out of the operation theatre. Mark looked at her, walked forward, and grabbed her hand. He walked with nurses towards the ward while Melody and Raymond stood at the same spot.

“Raymond, you said you won’t let anything happen to our grandson. You promised, but look our son, daughter in law and grandson all are not ok.”, Melody said to Raymond with wet eyes.

“I have to go to the temple”, Raymond said to her.

“I will come with you”, Melody said.

“Master, you both are not in good health, how will you two travel”, Mike said when he heard their conversation.

“We must go, you stay here and take care of Mark, Sara, and Adam”, Raymond said, hugged Melody’s shoulder, and was about to leave when the nurse came to them with a baby.

“Sir, the pregnant woman that Mr. Wilson brought with him gave birth to a baby girl. Mother is still in danger but the girl is healthy. She is very lucky that she survived such an accident.

Raymond, Melody, and Mike looked at the girl with confusion. Melody asked, “Which pregnant woman are you talking about?”

“Madam, she also got injured in an accident with Mrs. Wilson”, the nurse explained.

“Oh”, Melody said and thought that Sara must have hit that the pregnant woman while driving, she looked at the innocent baby girl and said to the nurse, “Give her to me”.

The nurse gave her the baby girl. Melody liked this baby. She carefully grabbed her hand, but what she saw gave her the most awaited joy of her life, “Raymond look it’s her”.

Hearing her Raymond walked forward and looked in the direction where Melody was looking and was amazing. He saw a pink birthmark on the baby's chest, this birthmark was close to her heart and its shape was unique, it was the same as the monk predicted, “It’s really her”, Raymond said.

Melody giggled and said, “We found her Raymond”.

Raymond nodded and said seriously, “But we have to check first”.

“How we will check?”, Melody asked.

“Let’s take her to Adam”, Raymond suggested, Melody nodded and walked towards the ICU with Raymond and the baby girl.

“Doctor place this baby girl on Adam’s bed with him”, Raymond instructed the on-duty doctor.

The doctor was confused he said, “But Sir this baby is very healthy she doesn’t need intensive care”.

“Just do what I told you to do. You don’t have to treat her just place her on his bed”, Raymond said with a cold face.

The doctor didn’t dare to say anything anymore, he took the baby girl and placed her on Adam’s bed near him.

Raymond and Melody observed Adam carefully but there wasn’t any change, they were disappointed just when Raymond was about to order the doctor to bring the baby girl they heard Adam’s cry.

“Owin Owin”

Melody grabbed Raymond's collar in excitement, the on-duty doctor reacted quickly and checked Adam’s condition. In an hour Adam’s whole body check u was done, during this time the baby girl was placed on Adam’s bed quietly, her hand was grabbed by Adam.

“Sir, madam, young master is showing progress please excuse me, I have to call Dr. Xi”, the on-duty doctor said and left in hurry.

In Sara’s ward

Sara opened her eyes and saw the white ceiling, her head was still in a daze, she couldn’t figure it out where she was right now, she tried to sit up but was pulled in to a similar and warm embrace.

“Mark”, she called him.

“You scared me. How dare you drive”, Mark said with an angry face.

“I’m sorry but it wasn’t my mistake that stupid woman came in front from nowhere I wasn’t able to control the car”, Sara explained.

Hearing it Mark realized he didn’t check on that woman, he said to Sarra in a serious tone, “In the future, you are not allowed to drive at all. Do you understand”

“OK, but Mark how is our second bay is it safe”, Sara asked with concern.

Mark was speechless, he didn’t know how to tell her but he has to tell her, he tightly grabbed her hand, looked into her eyes, and said, “Listen to me Sara for us Adam is enough we don’t need more children”.

“What do you mean my child”, Sara panicked and tried to pull her hand but Mark's grip tighten, he said, “Listen to me Sara the child is gone but we still have Adam OK”.

Sara shouted, “Stop saying this, Adam has a separate place this baby had a separate place. And no matter what you say we will lose Adam too just like this baby.”

Sara started crying, Mark felt heartache, he said, “No we won’t Adam will be fine”.

“You always say that”, Sara said.

“Mr. Wilson, there is good news young master is awake”, Mike the butler ran into the ward excitedly and announced.

Hearing this both Sara was about to stand up but Mark pushed her back and said, “You are injured”.

“I want to see my son”, Sara said in anger.

“Mike brings a wheelchair for Sara”, he ordered

Mark, Sara, and Mike came to ICU and saw doctors treating Adam.

Doctor Xi came to them with a bright smile, and said, “Congratulations, he is out of danger. We will keep him under observation for 2 days to make sure everything is fine then if everything goes well you can take him home.

The whole Wilson family was happy and excited, Mark hugged Sara’s head and said, “look I told you Adam will not leave us”.

Sara giggled, and cried, she was able to say a single word because of sudden happiness.

Mark took Sara back to her ward, doctors team were looking after Adam, while the baby girl was still with him. Raymond strictly ordered the doctors to keep the girl beside Adam, so helplessly they didn’t dare to move the girl. The baby girl was also very calm she didn’t cry for her mother or feed. The mother of the baby girl was still in ICU, so Raymond ordered nurses to take care of her, and to feed her.

Mark also went to the doctor to ask about the condition of the woman and it’s child, when he found that the child was taken by his parents he was shocked, but then he thought they just did it because Sara hit the girl so they have to take care of the girl.

Meanwhile, in Sara’s ward, a nurse was treating her wounds.

“How is my son?”, Sara asked her.

“He is progressing. Don’t worry he will be fine soon”, the nurse said.

“Good”, Sara sighed.

The nurse was an aged woman, she calmly said, “Don’t worry ma’am God will not treat you badly. Although it took away your right to become a mother again, he will protect your only child for you.

“BOOM”

Hearing her words, something explodes in Sara's head, she anxiously grabbed the nurse hand that was treating her wound and asked, “What you said, what God took from me?”

The nurse panicked she realized that she said something she must not say, “Madam, I’m sorry just take it as I didn't tell you anything ok”.

“Say it I beg you”, Sara cried.

The nurse helplessly told her the truth, “Madam, your uterus was injured in an accident and doctors have to remove it. SO you can’t be pregnant in the future.”.

Hearing it Saraa felt dazy and passed out.

When she woke up she saw Mark sitting near her bed, she looked at him with blank eyes. Mark felt a strange gaze and looked towards Sara. Looking at her blank eyes, he grabbed her hand and asked, “How are you do you want me to call the doctor”.

“Why you didn’t tell me the truth”, Sara questioned without any expression.

Mark hesitated and said, “I told you for us Adam is enough we don’t need anymore child.”

“But I do”, Sara shouted and sit up aggressively.

“This is all because of that stupid woman if she didn’t come in front of my car. My child would be safe and alive. That woman I will kill her where is she.”, Sara roared.

Mark hugged her and said, “Sara don’t be like this. That woman is still in ICU, she gave birth to a baby girl. Pray for her life otherwise that poor baby has to grow up without a mother.”

“It has nothing to do with me. This was her mother’s fault, she killed my child and took the most precious thing from me. I wish she dies. I wish her baby dies”, Sara roared.

“Sara calms down you can’t get too excited. Your body isn’t fully recovered”, Mark said while hugging her tightly to prevent her from getting up from bed but Sara wasn’t in the mood to listen to him. Helplessly Mark called the doctor and the doctor gave her an injection. As soon as the injection was injected, Sara felt dazy and slept in Mark's embrace. Mark placed her on ed carefully and caressed her face.

After two days doctor informed the Wilson family that Adam is totally fine now and they can take him to home. Sara’s injuries were also better and can be treated at home so Mark completed the discharge formalities of both.

“How is the woman that I bring here”, Mark asked the nurse who was standing at the information desk.

“She is fine now and we called her husband here too but”, the nurse hesitated.

“But what”, Mark asked.

“Sir has ordered us to keep their baby girl with the young master. We can’t give the baby back to her family without his permission”, the nurse explained.

Mark was shocked, “Did my dad said it by himself”

“Yes”, the nurse nodded.

“OK, don’t worry I’ll talk to him and I will pay her and her mother’s expenses”, Mark said and left.
