CHAPTER 23

ONE YEAR LATER

Kendall was busy preparing for her meeting, she was sure that she would be seeing Blake, hopefully he would send Ryan in his place, she was nowhere near ready to see Blake. She cried months for him, she was so distraught by his lack of trust, always his face that last time she saw him would haunt her. He looked completely defeated, like a child who just lost their mother. Kendall's heart ached every time she remembered that look.

Not one month after she returned home she sent him divorce papers granting him all of Michael’s shares, so Blake would be majority owner, Kendall decided to sell her share and start her own empire. Divorce papers were never signed by him and she waited every day for them to be delivered declaring her single again. Kendall felt very ill the months after that dreadful day with Blake, her nausea wouldn't relent, she wouldn't be able to keep much food down, Kendall put it down to stress.
