Kendall was furious. No way in hell was this happening. "Kendall honey you are twenty-five years old, it's time you settled down anyway." Her mother was serious… She wanted her to marry a man who she had never met?
"Cathy I will not marry him, father would turn in his grave, he hated him, why would you think this would be the solution to end the feud?" Her mother gave her a stop being difficult look, she hated it when Kendall called her by her name.
"It's the only way... We will lose everything your father worked for if you don't marry him, everything Kendall, the entire thing will be handed over to the Wyatt’s, is that what you want? You know that your grandfather was in business with the Wyatt’s… He was fond of them and Blake is his godson… He wanted this union and it will happen. It’s the only way… He stated in his will what is to take place.”
"What if he doesn't agree? Mum, this is so ridiculous."
"Make it so he does. You understand that we both have so much to lose if this does not happen. You will marry Blake Wyatt and have his child.”
“What are you keeping from me. I feel that there is more at play…”
“Just do as you are told. If you want to keep living this life, then do as you are told. You want to lose everything we have? Do you think you can survive without all the luxuries that come our way?”
No she did not. KENDALL knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that her life was nothing without all the glitz and the glamour of her world. She was filthy rich, she had it all… Her mother was money hungry and would sell her soul to the devil to keep it that way.
Did KENDALL understand anything about anything?
No she did not!
She was an only child and all she knew about this Blake was that he had a brother and a sister. How the hell could she marry somebody she'd never met and more importantly have a child with this person? Oh man if her father were alive he'd never allow Cathy to do this to her!
Her father hated the Wyatt’s… Never been told the full story, all she knew was they were the enemy.
"What about lawyers? Is there a loophole we can use to get out of it?"
"Do you think this wasn’t thought out? Directions were very precise Kendall. Michael knew he was dying, he thought of everything! Now please stop being difficult we don't have time, wedding will be in two days so please let's go get you a dress." At this point Kendall hated her mother so much, her no good, Botox faced, money hungry mother! Oh how she missed her father.
***
Blake was pissed, Michael you fucker how could you do this? "I'm paying you a fucking large amount of money to get me out of this Max, and you come up with fuck all!" Blake yelled at his attorney.
"Mr Wyatt please understand the first thing that Michael Lucius stated was there would be no intervening in his will. If I dig further you can risk losing it all. I'm sorry this is one I can't win for you." Fucking lawyers!
"Get out!" Blake was losing his cool. He would be married in two days to a fucking pompous princess who he'd never set eyes on! What's worse he would have to impregnate her! Poor Jade, how could she handle this? They were set to wed in a year. And what's worse was there would be no divorce, whoever filed for divorce first would lose everything to the other party.
A knock on the door woke him from his thoughts. "Yes?" He wasn't in the mood for anymore shit, he needed to sort himself out.
Jade made her way in looking like the most beautiful woman in the world. Her light brown hair falling loosely around her face. Her blue eyes were blotched, she had been crying. "Come here honey." Blake swirled his chair around so she could sit in his lap. As soon as she was in his arms she broke down in sobs. "Hey don't cry baby. We'll work it out, I swear I'll figure it out. I’ll figure something out."
"Blake you will be married in two days, what are you going to figure out?"
"Married or not you stay with me, I'll never let you go. She will have to accept it baby. We will always be together, it's just a formality. It's you I love, nobody can ever compare to that." Jade nodded her head. He lifted her chin up and kissed her gently on her lips. Boy this was going to get messy.
***
The day of the wedding was upon them, Kendall stared at her reflection in the mirror, oh fuck she was a bride! Her dark brown hair in a high neat full bun atop her head. She had a very expensive pearl tiara that looked more like a hair peace rather than a crown, it had a vintage look that Kendall loved. She wore simple drop pearl earrings and a simple pearl necklace. The bodice of her dress was a very intricate design of a very expensive lace. It squeezed her already thin waist, laced at the back, the bottom of her dress was princess like gown that was full and crystal organza that was delicately cut to perfection, layers and layers or material.
Looked like a fairy tale dress, meant for a fairy tale wedding, not this shot gun wedding.
Admittedly Kendall knew she looked amazing, her big brown eyes were all dolled up with dark smoky makeup, almost charcoal look. She was often asked if she was a model and looking at herself now she understood why.
"Oh my darling you look amazing." Her mother pretending to wipe her invisible tears.
"Cathy please stop with your crap! I'm here aren't I?"
"Please call me mother. People will think something's wrong with us." Like no shit Sherlock! They were anything but in a loving relationship.
"Oh heaven forbid we show our true colours! Do you even care about what will happen to me? My god I don't even know him!" Kendall was beginning to panic…
"Calm down, he will look after you, they are very well off..."
"Always about the money with you mother!"
"I'll pretend I didn't hear that! It's time let's go."
"Wait who's will be walking me down the aisle?"
"Oh dear we didn't think of that..."
"Seriously?" Since this whole ordeal, this was the moment Kendall felt like crying, if only her father were here.
"Don't work yourself up, Uncle Brett will walk you down." Uncle who?

Blake was waiting impatiently at the altar. He was not happy at all, he could see Jade crying and her mother trying to comfort her. She was a mess. Now for his ever late bride to show her face so this fucking ordeal would end. What was worse was another one of Michael's condition being they were to honeymoon in a fucking cabin in an undisclosed location, Michael had it arranged to the end. The location would be given to him when they were on the way.... Alone!
That's all he fucking needed. The first thing Blake was going to do was inform his bride that Jade would move in with them and share his bedroom. She might as well get used to it from the beginning.
The music began and everybody at the church were on their feet for the grand entrance, he didn't want to see her, he wanted to close his eyes and pretend this was not real. Blake turned and watched his bride walk down with all the grace of a fucking princess. He was spot on, she was an overly spoilt brat who always got what she wanted.
His brother Ryan was beside him as best man, he looked at Blake sympathetically and Blake wanted to punch him.
Brett handed the bride over to Blake, she didn’t even wanted to look up at him. She stood rigid and when he took the veil off her face and pulled it back.
Blake looked at his bride and was taken aback, she was a stunner, her eyes were exotic, like some sort of Arabian princess. She dressed her eyes with too much makeup but it only added to their beauty. Her lips were luscious and full. He shook his head to himself, she was seductively sexy but his type was Jade. He liked how simple Jade was, the not so high maintenance type.
***
"You may kiss the bride." Kendall swallowed hard, she didn't want to do this, it was completely awkward, she looked at the man she was marrying and was quite surprised that he was very attractive, not her type but still very good looking. He had dark hair, even darker eyes, straight nose, full lips and a very neat beard. He wasn't a short man and from what Kendall could make out his body was in great shape.
Blake bent his head and brushed his lips over hers in a cold and unfeeling kiss. Cheers and applause from the guests and it was finally over. He linked his arms with hers as they made their way out as husband and wife.
Photos and champagne and it was time to leave. The reception was another daunting ordeal she needed to get through. Blake opened the limousine door and helped her in before following her inside. Once the doors were closed and the driver slowly took off, Kendall was suddenly very nervous.
Kendall kept her head held high, she wouldn't stoop to talking to him first. Her father must be disgraced with her for doing this. But she couldn't allow them to take her father’s sweat and blood. Her mother was right, she needed to sacrifice for the greater good, didn't mean she had to play nice with her husband, best he learn where he stands with her and that was beneath her. She was way out of his league and all the money in the world wouldn't change that.
"How old are you?" His voice jolted her from her thoughts.
"I'm twenty five." She wasn't going to ask him the same, she didn't care.
"How many guys have you been with?" She looked up at him with disbelief. How dare he?
"That's none of your god damn business." KENDALL was shocked by his boldness, like really shocked. The fuck was he on about? How dare he ask her something so personal?
"Actually it is, answer the question."
"I did answer it, none of your god damn business." Blake obviously didn't like being spoken to like this. Looked a lot like he wanted to smack her mouth. KENDALL heard how he was so used to having people hide in fear from him. He was going to have to get used to it, KENDALL did not answer to a soul…
She turned her head looking out the window and dismissing him from her thoughts
"Maybe I should check just to make sure." What the hell did he just say?
"Touch me and I'll scream, I swear to god if you touch me I'll scratch your eyes out!" He laughed, he was actually seemed amused.
"Really you'll scream and what if I did this, he placed his arm around her head and a hand over her mouth silencing her. Kendall's arms were wildly trying to hit him. He grabbed them easily and held them in an unrelenting grip. "What else have you got kitten? Don't try and best me bride, you'll never come out the victor." The limo pulled over and he let her go, she was so shocked by what was going on, the fact that Blake actually fixed her dress and placed her hands gently onto her lap before the door opened.
Blake exited the car, before offering her his arm to help her out. He stared her down daring her to refuse his help.CHAPTER 27***"He would love to meet his uncle, he has heard a lot about him and I'm sure he would also like to meet his aunt, if she is willing to get to know him?" Kendall looked at Lilliana, she looked up and Kendall tried to give her a reassuring look. "It's not hard Lilliana, you have two brothers who care deeply about you, what I wouldn't give to have had that." Lilliana had tears run down her face."I will pack my things and leave." She was on her feet now."For heaven’s sake Lilly, enough, If you leave this time you’re not coming back, I swear to you, this is it, you want to leave then go but you will be forbidden to ever step foot here again." Blake was trying to remain calm.Kendall decided to keep out of it, they could deal with it on their own. Wasn't her problemKendall went home with the strangest feeling that night, why would he do that? And he did it in a way where he wanted Kendall and Ryan to witness the whole thing. Kendall assumed it was Blake's way to right what
CHAPTER 26Kendall spent the next week waiting to hear from Blake, nothing. It was like he didn't want to be around her or Ryan, what else could she think? Confusion set in, he seemed so affected by Ryan and suddenly nothing, maybe he thought about it and perhaps came to the conclusion that Ryan might not be his child. Again the rejection and the lack of his trust hit home, Kendall wanted to scream and hurt something. Why come back into her life just to leave her again? Get it together Kendall, you did it without him so long, don't allow him bring you down again, you have come a long way Kendall...Kendall heard her phone ring, picking it up she saw Blake's name come up... Thinking of the devil, she answered and her heart did a little flutter... "Hello?""Kendall, are you free to come round tonight alone?“ Kendall was taken aback by his assertiveness. He meant business, she knew that tone too well."Why?""I need you to come to dinner at my place, trust me Kendall, please just do as I
CHAPTER 25Blake looked at the letter and shook his head, what the hell was that about? Augustus Hasting had planned the entire marriage, he and Michael Lucius plotted this whole scheme. Why did Blake feel like he had been duped? Not by Augustus or Michael but by his own father. Why couldn't Blake see what everybody else seemed to see or to know about Thomas Wyatt? Ryan had always suffered at the hands of his father and all because Blake was too much of a coward to stand up for his brother and above all his mother.Blake always associated his father’s abuse to his mother as punishment for sleeping around but come to think of it, the only time anything about her adultery was mentioned was about Augustus, so why then did his father abuse her long before they even knew of Augustus Hasting? Blake reread the letter and if he thought he was confused before, now he was just unsure of his life. Blake had nothing, he felt empty and completely let down. Just thinking about his mother suffering
CHAPTER 24Blake wanted to leave, he didn't want to be around Kendall anymore, he wasn't paying any attention at all to anybody, his eyes kept scanning the room to see where she was. When Max his lawyer asked him to go into the conference room to finish off paperwork, Blake was certain that Kendall's lawyer asked her to do the same. He told Max he'd be there in five. Blake needed to prepare himself to be near her after all this time. Blake entered the conference after her took a few minutes to prepare himself and entered the room. Kendall and her lawyer were sitting on the end of the long table. Max was also there. "Ah we can begin?" Max the definition of a lawyer. Blake took a seat opposite Kendall, she didn't look up at him at all. "Blake this is your wife's lawyer Mr Ronald Brown.""Nice to meet you, can we get on with this please?" "Of course, let's get started." Talks between the two lawyers took place, a lot of paperwork and a lot of signing. Blake couldn't care less about any
CHAPTER 23ONE YEAR LATER Kendall was busy preparing for her meeting, she was sure that she would be seeing Blake, hopefully he would send Ryan in his place, she was nowhere near ready to see Blake. She cried months for him, she was so distraught by his lack of trust, always his face that last time she saw him would haunt her. He looked completely defeated, like a child who just lost their mother. Kendall's heart ached every time she remembered that look. Not one month after she returned home she sent him divorce papers granting him all of Michael’s shares, so Blake would be majority owner, Kendall decided to sell her share and start her own empire. Divorce papers were never signed by him and she waited every day for them to be delivered declaring her single again. Kendall felt very ill the months after that dreadful day with Blake, her nausea wouldn't relent, she wouldn't be able to keep much food down, Kendall put it down to stress. Cathy was never around, clearly not happy with
CHAPTER 22Kendall was pushed onto the door, she turned her face to the side and he pressed his hand over her cheek pressing her onto the door. "Blake please just let me explain." "You don't get to fucking talk remember? Now it's my turn, do I disgust you princess? Are you fucking me to make me trust you? Ha? So you and your fucking lover can kill me?""I swear to you...""Shut the fuck up princess!" Blake pulled her away from the door and turned her around. "I fucking loved you Kendall, I fucking trusted you, I thought this was real. I fucking sent my family away. You’re good, I’ll admit that, you played me for the fool. You fucking played me hard!"He let go of her and KENDALL turned around quickly, He was sort of crying looking frustrated and so hurt."Blake I'm begging you to hear me out, I'm being framed can't you see that?""Stop talking Kendall, it's enough." Kendall was sobbing, how could this happen, now especially after she was willing to give Blake her heart. He wouldn't s
CHAPTER 21Kendall was shopping alone when to her horror she bumped into Logan fucking Whitford. What the hell was he doing here? "What a pleasure to bump into you here." He hugged her lingering a little too long. She pulled away from him quickly."Yes, it's nice to see you again Logan but I'm kinda in a rush, so maybe we can catch up next time.” Really wanting to get away from him but he grabbed her arm and pulled her to him."Kendall, I get the sense that you don't want to talk to me, have I done something to upset you?" She looked up at him and smiled."Of course you haven't, listen Logan my husband doesn't really like me talking to men when he's not around so I'm sorry if I seem a little edgy but I would rather not be seen talking to you here." He nodded his head."Is he hurting you Kendall? I can fix this whole situation up for you, I can get rid of him for good." Kendall's eye's opened wide."Get rid of him? That's my husband you’re talking about, how dare you think I would want
CHAPTER 20Kendall missed her father terribly, walking in to his office she sat onto his chair. He always looked so powerful in his office like he owned the entire world. How many times had Kendall sat on his lap when she was younger. She would always play with his pens and mess up his table and he never yelled at her. Her father was everything to her, she loved him so much and missed him even more.Touching everything, trying to feel him, it was of no use, he was gone. Kendall opened up his draw and rummaged through the papers. She found envelopes that were addressed to her and to Blake. This was strange, Kendall got a sense that she was being watched. She opened the letter addressed to her.My dear Princess... My Kendall.I am writing this to you in hopes that you will understand why I have done what I did. I love you baby girl and I'm sorry if my decision has hurt you in any way. Knowing I was going to die, Michael and myself kept it a secret, it must have come as a total shock to
CHAPTER 18Kendall heard the whole conversation that Lilliana and her brother had. It would be interesting what his decision would be. That little bitch giving him ultimatums. Well Kendall would know in the morning if he was to keep her or his sister.Lying in her bed dressed only in satin frilly shorts and a singlet, Kendall was slowly drifting off to sleep when she heard Blake enter her room and turn on the lights, she winced hating the lights ."Turn em off." Of course he did no such thing. He moved to sit beside her on the bed. "Kendall, I have a situation..." Oh my god, Kendall thought, he was really going to send her away because of Lilliana. "The thing is that Lilliana is finding it very hard to cope with you and I being together. I honestly don't know how much more I can take. She thinks I'm betraying my father by wanting to be with you." Kendall sat up and looked at him wide eyed."Yeah well you can tell her that I'm also betraying my father by being with you, tell her to get
