Chapter 261: Don't Be Afraid, I'm Here

A bathroom and a hallway separate the study room from the balcony. The two balconies were unconnected, yet there was no balcony separating them. They were adjacent, and the distance between them was about ten meters. I didn’t know when Danny appeared or how much he had seen. My first concern was whether Danny was scared, and if that would traumatize him and worsen his autism. I didn’t even think about the fact that he could serve as a witness.

Danny seemed terrified. He looked at Dexie with shock. When Dexie called him, he seemed to suddenly snap back to reality, but the next moment, he burst into tears, and his eyes were filled with fear. Dexie’s heart sank when she saw Danny was truly scared.
