EVELYN’S POV

“Evelyn,” Leonard groaned, his grip tightening on me. I knew he was close to release, but I wasn’t ready for that yet. Slowly, I loosened my hold on him, releasing his erection from my hand. He was still as hard as ever, the bathroom fell silent for a moment.

Standing up, I engulfed him in another searing kiss. He picked me up effortlessly, and we managed to make our way out of the bathroom without breaking the kiss. Gently, Leonard laid me down on the bed. His lips never left mine, and his hands explored every inch of my body.

I couldn’t suppress my moans anymore, even as the thought crossed my mind: could his mom hear us? But there was no time to dwell on that. Leonard’s mouth trailed lower, igniting a fire with every touch until it reached my core.

He buried his head between my thighs, his tongue exploring me in ways that made my back arch off the bed. I couldn’t hold back as I tangled my fingers in his hair, pulling him closer, and urging him to go deeper.

The pleasure was overwhelming, unmatched, and all-consuming. My eyes rolled back as his mouth worked wonders on me.

“Oh, baby, I need you to fuck me,” I begged, desperate to feel him inside me.

Leonard paused and looked up at me with a smirk. “I will, but I want to enjoy this for a little longer.”

With that, he dove back in, his tongue pushing me closer to the edge. I was trembling, gripping the sheets as I felt the orgasm building.

“Oh fuck, I’m cumming!” I screamed, but just as I was about to climax, Leonard pulled away. I whimpered, my body aching for release.

Without hesitation, he positioned himself between my legs. After teasing me with his length, he slid inside, filling me. My entire existence narrowed to the sensation of him moving inside me.

“I want you forever, Evelyn,” Leonard whispered, his voice thick with emotion.

A single tear slipped from my eye—a tear of pure pleasure. He thrust slowly at first, his movements deliberate and deep, but his pace soon quickened. The sound of our bodies moving together filled the room.

I felt my release building again, and this time, Leonard wasn’t far behind. With a few more thrusts, we both came together, our cries mingling as we collapsed onto the bed.

We lay there, breathless, our bodies intertwined.

“Leonard! Evelyn!” His mom’s voice called from outside.

“Perfect timing,” I muttered, laughing softly as Leonard joined in.

“We’ll be out soon, Mom!” Leonard shouted back.

I was lost in thought, wondering how long I had been away from the dining table.

“What’s wrong?” Leonard asked, his gaze pulling me back to the moment.

Our eyes met, and I blushed, quickly looking away. He chuckled, scooped me up, and carried me back to the bathroom, where we washed off together.

After changing into fresh clothes, we prepared to leave the room. At the door, Leonard stopped me.

“You dare defy me?” he asked, his expression shifting from playful to serious.

I looked at him, confused. “What do you mean?”

“You walked on your own to find me,” he said, now smiling.

I laughed softly. “I don’t regret it. Or do you wish I hadn’t come?” I teased.

Before he could respond, his mom’s voice called again, and we hurried to the dining room. Leonard still hovered protectively, mindful of my injured leg.

“We’re sorry, Mom. We got carried away,” Leonard said, his eyes never leaving mine. I blushed under his gaze, but what embarrassed me most was the knowing look his mom gave us. She knew exactly what had happened.

I buried my face in Leonard’s shirt, mortified, but his mom just smiled and served lunch. I was surprised to find that she had waited for us to eat together, no matter how long we had taken.

After lunch, we moved to the living room, where we shared laughter and stories. Leonard’s mom delighted in embarrassing him with tales from his childhood, much to my amusement.

By 4 p.m., we went to the poolside. The view was stunning. Leonard stripped off his clothes, revealing his toned body, and handed me a swimsuit. I quickly changed and joined him in the water.

The pool was calming, and though I wasn’t a great swimmer, I trusted Leonard to keep me safe. As we splashed and played, I realized he was my soulmate. There could be no one else for me.

At one point, a servant brought us fresh juice, and we spent the evening enjoying each other’s company. Laughter echoed around us as we played silly games, making memories I would cherish forever.

As the evening wore on, we left the pool to change into casual clothes. Just then, Leonard’s phone rang. He answered it, and the voice on the other end made my heart skip a beat—it was Samantha.

“At least Evelyn isn’t dead as we thought,” Samantha sneered. “Now can you tell these people to release me? I’m dying here.”

“You still have several days left,” Leonard replied calmly. “Wait for Evelyn’s judgment.”

“You think Evelyn is a saint? Check her phone for her conversations with Caleb,” Samantha spat before Leonard hung up.

“I swear I have nothing to do with Caleb anymore,” I said, rushing to explain, but Leonard silenced me with a kiss.

“There’s no need for that,” he said, his voice soothing. “I trust you completely.”

Relieved, I hugged him tightly, but Samantha’s words lingered in my mind. How had she become involved with Caleb? Was it all part of a plan from the beginning?

The thought nagged at me, so I decided to check Caleb’s unread message.

“I think I should see what Caleb texted me,” I said, pulling out my phone before Leonard could protest.

The message was written to appear loving, almost as if we were having an affair. But Leonard and I laughed it off—it was a desperate ploy.

“Are you ready for your surprise?” Leonard asked, his eyes twinkling with excitement.

A limousine pulled up outside, leaving me speechless.

Evelyn's POVI sat in the room, the sound of my thumping heart was louder with the placidness around. As the clock ticked every moment, my body grew more intense in fear and anticipation. How long have I been sitting here? I could barely remember, but I was badly waiting for the doctor to enter the room. But even if he comes, I doubt he could dispel the unease that coiled in my stomach like a slithering serpent. I jerked back from my seat when the door was pushed open. The doctor stepped into the room and made his way to his seat. I furrowed my brows, trying to fathom his expression in order to know my fate, but he had a serious look arched on his face as he passed a paper to me. “What does it say?” I asked, looking at him desperately.“Take a look,” was his only reply as he leaned back against his seat. With a racing heart, I slowly opened the paper and read through it. “Positive?” I turned my gaze to look at the doctor. I stared at him with wide eyes in disbelief. “Doctor… I'm pr

Being in his arms felt suffocating, I nearly puked. She wore a black dress and behind her was Caleb’s father, matching her outfit. “I heard you were down yesterday,” she pointed out. I had always felt this extreme hate oozing from her but always ignored it: and the few times i’d spilled it to Caleb, he merely waved me off . Perhaps it was time I face the truth without ignoring it. “I'm better now, thank you,” I smiled faintly at her. I wanted it to end already because the memories of Caleb hitting my head with a rod multiple times with eyes glaring at me had began seething into my head. I felt angry, irritated and hurt at my naivety with every moment Caleb stayed beside me. Evelyn's POVI made my way straight to the bar because it was the only place that could help blow away the cobwebs that were clogged in my heart at the moment. My thoughts were still very heavy with memories of my past life and the things I'd been through. Walking into the slightly warm space with ambient lighting, I went straight to grab an order and drink my sorrows away. I still remembered all of it, every single moment of it, and the dim lights coupled with the hum of the quiet chatting around me seemed to amplify my loneliness. I needed a drink as soon as possible. Sitting at the bar, I gestured towards the bartender. “Whiskey, please.” I requested, flashing a tight-lipped smile that didn't reach my eyes. He disappeared behind the counter and soon popped out again before pouring me a copious amount. I nodded and began to sip on my drink. I thought about the choices I had made, the people I had hurt, and the life I had just left behind. It was all for the best, I wasn't going t

If Leonard and his mum were fighting because of me, I would never forgive myself. He even offered to call the cooks to handle anything I wanted
