“Where are we?”

Akmal, the tall lanky yet fit young man looked around in awe. His long fingers moved around, trying to not quench his curiosity by mindlessly touching the surroundings, and he asked in a quiet voice.

Wan silently judged his surroundings and the atmosphere they were in. The wood looked so normal to the point he doubted it.

In The Unknown, the forests were vibrant with numerous colors. Compared to the two worlds, their forests were so lively. Sometimes, it hurts everyone’s eyes.

However, the wood they were in looked so plain. Wan started to doubt everything.

“We are in the Dark Forest,” Shadow answered because only she knew about this.

The Dark Forest was within the Dark Woodland which only had one person's access. No one could enter unless she told them so. So yeah, this forest was her by right.

“Be careful, though. The wood is full of dangerous species.”

“That’s what I thought,” Wan murmured alone and rubbed his itchy hand from touching anything.
