Andrianne sat nervously on the edge of the bed, dressed in a stunning blue dress that hugged her curves perfectly. Her hair was styled into loose waves that cascaded down her shoulders and back, and she wore simple diamond stud earrings that sparkled in the dim light of the bedroom.

She checked her phone once again, feeling a pang of anxiety as she saw that Lucas had still not returned her calls. She had planned the perfect birthday surprise for him, but now she couldn't even get a hold of him to let him know where to meet her.
