VII. The reappearance of Ronan

With so many people in this world, I wonder over and over again how it was possible for me to meet him again, this had the appearance of being a terrible nightmare and a very heavy one.    

 " ¿That...? you thought I wouldn't recognize you. " 

Ronan's face turned serious and at the same time a grimace was drawn on his face that made his face look even more evil than he already remembered it, he quickly held my hand by the wrist area the same one with which I was trying to take the folder.   

At the moment I felt that he was gradually tightening his grip on me more and more as if he was enjoying it entirely so I screamed.  

"Let go of me, you have no right to touch me. " 

"No, little one, I think I do and you know it. " 

I instantly interrupted him.   

"You don't have it, I don't even know you, I'm going to stress it to you again if you didn't understand it yesterday or it's not clear to you, I don't care who you are, or where you're from or whose son you are, what happened in the cinema can happen to anyone was a simple and unfortunate accident. "    

At my words I saw how the other seniors who were with him began to murmur and so did the others who were behind me and on the sides accommodated in the other rows.

Again I exclaimed:

I'm not sure yet how my mother's necklace that I had found hours earlier slipped out from behind my turtleneck shirt; it was inevitable that someone wouldn't notice it and Ronan's eyes next to those of some at that table landed directly on that sapphire, he quickly said while laughing after landing his eyes on it.  

 "Where did you get that necklace? A person like you can't afford to wear it on his neck. " 

Before his words I kept silence, I lowered my gaze while the rage increased inside me, by that moment anyone who had seen me during that moment could easily come to say that I was afraid, but no, it was anger itself that was taking control of my body so I was first of all already at the limit. 

Hearing those words shocked me in an atrocious way, I was paralyzed, what to do and therefore how to get out.    

Ronan dropped the folder which he returned to the table and wielding the necklace by the area where the sapphire was said:   

"This does not belong to you since today it is mine. "  

That was what was missing for me to finally explode, to take my bad mood of the moment to the maximum point, I felt like the anger that I had accumulated in me had begun to make its own, so that more or less anyone can imagine it, I am the closest thing to the explosion of a bomb.   

For him I imagine that he must have thought that he would have won, I could feel it in his voice, which I imagine was reaffirmed when he noticed me with my eyes down because so far I had not raised my head yet, but he did not count on me not to stand idly by. 

"I can allow you to mess with me all you want, even humiliate me, but don't mess with this necklace and I advise you to let it go. "   

When he heard me, he couldn't help but laugh and said out loud.  

"Don't make me laugh, tell me what you will do, since you are a little scary cat. " 

I listened to him while a laugh began to emerge from me in a rather malicious low tone that was getting louder and louder which made Ronan stop his jocularity until we ended up at a standstill where I simply raised my head, I saw him directly in the eyes, while I exclaiming I then replied.   

"You really think that, I mean I know I look weak look at me with my nerdy attitude, but scared, at that point you're wrong, so far I've only tried to avoid violence and safeguard your well-being, then don't blame me for what may happen to you. "   

I saw that the one who did not listen to me very well was going to answer me, and without a word I let go of him a punch so hard that it was obvious that he was not expecting it, the impact of my fist against his face made him go backwards breaking at the same time the support of the chair in which he was, with the impact caused him to let go of my hand, but he took the necklace.   

Once callo surrounded the table, with the intention of hitting him again my anger was too powerful, but by reasoning I stopped for a moment to think since I didn't want that to later play against me so I restrained myself. 

When I looked at him I took a deep breath and saw the necklace wrapped in his hand, after snatching it away I stood up again.    

While he was still on the floor I put on the necklace, took the folder from the table and took a few steps with the intention of leaving, but not before saying loud and clear so that everyone would hear me:   

"You know he may have money and he may be the son of Mr. Claus, being the son of that elegant man by tempt is quite a surprise since they are the spitting image of the example that remains between water and oil, but, I allow no one to be too happy with me, trampling on my rights and my space, now don't say that I didn't warn you because I did. "  

I turned around in the direction of where he was who by that time was getting up so keeping a serious expression on my face continue. 

"Ronan, it's obvious that you don't know how to treat a woman, I don't know what has happened to you that has made you think that, because you are a man and rich, all women will follow you like sheep to the slaughter, but I have news for you, I am not part of your game. "   

I turned my back to the table to continue on my way, leaving where the waiting lines were I saw where Jacob was, I couldn't help but see his worried face and how much he thought I was crazy was completely reflected in his gaze.    

Jacob in that corner had his eyes bulging and his mouth completely open, seeing that scene caused me to laugh at the top of my lungs, when I was finally close to him I said.

"Now shut your mouth and clean up. "    

During all that time I had completely forgotten to hide the necklace again, so I noticed when Jacob also laid his eyes on the sapphire, I took it and before him I hid it behind the collar of my T-shirt and I got ready to check my folder to extract the keys in order to see the numbering of what would be my room for some time.   

Jacob without wasting time said.  

"Where did you get that necklace, I've never seen it on you.  " 

It was obvious that he was curious, I looked at Jacob and it was impossible for me not to tell him, because he was one of the most important people in my life.   

I, attentive to your reaction commented.  

"It was my mother's, I had been lost for eleven years and this morning finishing packing again out of nowhere I found it. "    

"Then it's an important thing. "  

Replenish...  

"Too much, it's the only thing I have of her along with some old photos next to my father. "  

"Would you show them to me, I'd like to see who you got the beautiful thing from. " 

While keeping a mocking laugh on my face I commented.  

"Well, no... "    

"Why not Hope? "  

"They are at my grandparents' house, I didn't want to bring them for fear of losing them. "  

"Because you didn't say it before, eh, like a complete intruder" and at that I just laughed at him.   

I decided that it was a good time to start our march and I asked Jacob to go to the area where I had previously left my car, we drove away and out of mere curiosity I could not help but look in the direction of that area where I was previously bumping into Ronan's fixed eyes that followed me in the distance.  

During the way back Jacob was asking me some things that were not important to me so sometimes they were not relevant, some I answered and sometimes others not, I like to bother him and leave him the doubt, but, it was evident that I was still upset and therefore distracted.   

When Jacob got to the car he saw that I was looking a little lost and pulling my cheeks he told me:   

"Don't give it too much importance, I echo it, echo is, now let's focus on what we have. "  

I looked at him with a confused face.   

"Hope to land change. "   

"I'm sorry, I'm a little confused. "  

"Don't worry, now tell me what room number do I have for you? "   

"Two zero belts in this same building," I said immediately.   

"I'll help you get everything up. "  

And I thanked for such a gesture because I knew that there were many things that I had with me, the good thing was that we had individual rooms, because with such a mess that I'm going to love to organize everything, it would surely drive others crazy.   

When Jacob was getting ready to take the first box to take them out of the vehicle, I told him in a subdued voice, "With what happened today, you think things will be going well.   

"It doesn't matter if they don't go well, I'm here by your side, don't forget that" he said in a firm voice while framing a smile.  

In front of him I made a little grimace trying to make a smile, I looked at him and walked out, already a few steps away, so he wouldn't worry, much less think the worst "I'll be back in a moment I'll go upstairs to find the room and open the door. "  

I entered the building almost running, I went up the stairs and after going through that huge corridor I found my room.    

Opening the door, I took a look at what would be my house for almost four months and I observed the windows, one of them overlooks the parking area where my car was, after opening it I shouted Jacob by name while smiling and he immediately saw me.    

I ran down the stairs and when I arrived there was already someone talking to him, before them I made a sound with my throat to give notice of my presence and not interrupt abruptly.    

Notice that person was a rather handsome young man, just like Jacob is tall and end up commenting.  

"Excuse me interrupting you. "   

Jacob said.

"Don't worry, Hope this is my partner William Valtir, we took some classes together. "  

After such an introduction I extended my hand to him trying to be able to give him a good greeting being more than anything kind "nice to meet you William. "   

But the very disrespectful one denied me the greeting, leaving me with my hand completely extended in the air. 

Despite this curiously William agreed to help Jacob take my things to my room strange thing for behavior that had presented.  

With his help, all my belongings were quickly deposited on the floor of that room, even faster than expected.   

As I watched him finally carrying the last box, I said when I saw William there.   

"Thank you, you didn't have to bother. "  

 "I didn't do it for you," he replied.  

That answer made me stay static and with a silly smile on my face. At the end, we rested a little, we talked and Jacob ate finally bought some other sandwich, William as he finished eating communicated to Jacob...   

"Don't forget that we have to finish fixing the central area of the park. "   

"Yes, I haven't forgotten, we'd better go. "   

Jacob turned to me and picked up.  

"Hope, you think you can finish fixing everything by yourself. "   

"Yes, don't worry, go away, I'll manage.   

I accompanied them to the door and making a gesture with my hand I said goodbye, when I was going to proceed to close the locks to feel more than anything comfortable, I felt some knocks against the door, I approached I observed through the peephole of the door, I saw that it was Jacob again, for a moment I thought that maybe he had forgotten something so I simply opened the door.   

"Something's wrong.  " 

He who was a little nervous said  

"Don't neglect, I just forgot to tell you something...  " 

"What thing?  " 

"There is a welcome party for the new students today and I wanted to know if you would like to come with me."   

That moment was magical for me and I don't hesitate to answer.   

"Yes, I should like to. "   

With a slightly flushed and somewhat shy face he told me.   

"OK, I'll pick you up at half past eight. "   

After this he said goodbye to me again, I closed the door and I couldn't help but kick with excitement, I saw my watch and after seeing that it was three o'clock I got ready to order everything.   

After that I broke the plastic of the new mattress that, like every period, the university gave to each student, I placed it on the base aligning it with it. 

After needing to cover it with I opened one of the boxes that I had with me after taking out some new sheets I laid out the bed while taking the other boxes I took out my books and notebooks along with my laptop which I placed on my desk, which was lying in the room.    

Each box that was empty folded them and deposited them inside in a small cabinets that are next to the entrance of the bathroom one on each side of the door because then I knew that they would be necessary.   

Then having the things at hand I took all the personal hygiene things and arranged them on the bathroom shelf, in the I placed in the closet all my clothes without checking simply taking them out with their tails already on from the mobile closet where I brought them and after cleaning the floor I got ready to rest. 

The truth is when I'm doing something I usually lose track of time and when I noticed it, it had already been three hours and a little more since I started sorting everything out, it was six thirty at night, enough time had already passed and I was missing some necessary things for me that I didn't have at hand, so I decided to go out in a hurry in search of them.    

As I had gone to the campus in advance, I knew where the minimarket was located, so I got in the car and went to get supplies.    

My grandparents had saved a lot for my education over the years and if I knew how to manage I could easily live on them for a year with the money they had given me, so I bought everything I needed at the store. 

First of all, I tried to hurry up more so that I arrived just at ten minutes past seven, the truth is I don't understand how time passes so quickly doing a few simple purchases that it could easily seem that I would drag almost half a store with me when for sure it's not like that.    

I got in my car I drove back and got to my room, once there I put away the things I had bought and I finally got ready to get ready. 

Even during that time I had not thought that I would wear it, so I would simply have to improvise I knew it so snooping I could notice that grandma had hidden new clothes among my things and together with them I keep all the ones I had in the closet at home. 

She had even managed to make me not notice the large amount of clothes she was carrying with me, because if I am cautious she is doubly more cautious than I am, and I was even sure that grandma had secretly bought clothes for me, which I had openly asked her not to do.   

When checking garment by garment, I found a white blouse rolled up with a loose bow on the neck that showed the width of my shoulders I also found a gray fabric pants fitted to my figure that was a little above the ankles and black heels, along with a black wallet and a long woolen coat just in case it was what I chose as my ideal outfit.   

Do not hesitate to exclaim.  

"Perfect after having everything put together. "   

There was little time left, it was inevitable, it was just running out, so I quickly took off my clothes in a hurry and went in to take a shower, also washing my hair, after leaving I changed, I made up in a neutral tone, and I wavy my hair once dry.    

When it was just half past eight Jacob was laying his knuckles on the door to give the notice of his arrival so opening the door once I saw him I asked him to enter.   

I really don't know how to describe his eyes after seeing me, they had an indescribable shine for me, so out of nowhere at that moment the day that had started in such a chaotic way had become wonderfully beautiful, I even came to think that there was nothing in the world that could ruin that moment.
