All three Vaughn men were stealing glances at me as we set up the outdoor area for a marking ritual.

I was wearing a simple knitted dress and an unimpressive pair of crocs while my hair sat on my head in a messy bun, but they all seemed to be enamored by the basic sight. I didn’t know whether to be flattered or feel like a straight up goddess that they would willingly worship.

“So what’s the occasion? No one’s told me anything,” Blake spoke over the Afro beats album blasting through the speakers.

I was closest to it so I turned the music down a little, noticing how Alex and Logan shot me questionable glances as if to say; you haven’t told him!?

Of course I hadn’t, after we fell asleep in each other’s arms, we woke up and did more kissing and fondling than talking so my brain turned to complete mush and I forgot that I had something to tell him in the first place.

“I’ll go refill the coffee.”

“I’ll go check the cookies.”
