When I found out why he had done that, it was too late. He was gone already and there was no one to vent my frustrations on.
My life fucking sucks!
I was in the middle of banging my head against the wall when I suddenly heard a voice... another voice this time.
"I know what you might be feeling like right now. Like deputy-Jesus abi?"
I didn't need to open my eyes before I knew who it was.
Kora.
"I really am not up for drama this morning Kora, go away," I said calmly in reply even though I was seething internally.
God knew how much I disliked the girl. If hate wasn't such a strong word,I would have applied it here.
Or you hate her because she's Timi's best friend.
God. What type of subconscious do I have?
When I zoned back into what Queen bee Kora was yapping about, she was already almost done talking.
"...it's better you stay away from him bitch, or you would regret it." Her claw-like index finger pointed accusingly at me before she whirled around and sashayed away, bumping into numerous classmates that were coming back from the canteen without so much as an apology.
I sighed in deep sadness. Not because of the bimbo that was trying to 'mark her territory' but because short break was over and I did t get to eat.
I love food. Shoot Me.
The divine view of my food flask was even more glorious now. And there were piles and piles of all sorts of snacks on it.
I'm weird. I know.
Beginning from the bottom layer of the multiple tiers of snacks, there was cake, then pizza, then beautifully arranged shawarma before going on to the colourful cupcakes and meatpies and egg rows and then...
Oh God no!
Timi's lips stood on top of the snacks like a crown, mushing sexily in expectance for me to kiss it.
Now I needed to dip my entire soul into a lagoon of holy water.
Ugh!
The holy and the Ivy, when they are both full grown..." Someone needed to tell this woman her voice is bad. I thought, as our music teacher continued singing. It was time for extracurricular activities and I was in music club. It got annoying each time she hit a note and felt like the best in the world.
Grrrrrrrr!!! The bell rang, signaling that school hours was over and I couldn't wait to get home. My bag was packed and I waited patiently in class for my mom. Mummy must have left food in the cooler for me. The joy I felt as I had those thoughts were incomparable.
All you think about is food, food and food, it's no wonder you're fat. my subconscious chipped in and ruined my mood.
Well, no actually I'm not fat, I'm a little bit thick. I've got broad shoulders, nice toned legs and I'm 5'8. My breasts are big and lovely too. I sassed right back at her.
Mom taught me to say those things since I was a kid and I felt better everytime.
I wonder what more would have left for me, Rice or....
"Temiloluwa...!!" Timi call my name from afar. I've always known him to have a deep voice but this? he had a beautiful voice.
"Yes, what is it?" I said as I tried to snap my self out of my daydream.
"Your punishment." He replied with that michevious glint his eyes. This boy is up to no good I know but I can't seem to pinpoint what he has planned for me.
"Okay! let's go to your punishment site." He looked at me like I was about to unleash on him but I followed him till we reached the back of the school without stress or sweat.
"Um, Timi, what are we doing here?" I looked around for any punishment I could probably do in the environment he took me to.
"I just wanted to be alone with you."
"Well I don't want to be with you so let me go." I planned to bounce away."
"Wait..." I was pushed back and against the wall by Timi.
"Now that we are alone here... We can enjoy each other." Timi said while smirking at me.
"Please move your face away from me, before I make sure you can't give birth again."
It's not like I could fight, but he doesn't need to know that now does he? Plus, a little scare was needed. I wanted to kiss him so bad but I couldn't.
"Calm down —he chuckled. I wanted to collect your number since you refused to give me since last term and none of your friends are giving me." he mumbled.
"Not like you have many" he added quietly.
The nerve!
"Do you think after you have insulted me, I will give you my number?" I said while glaring at him. "Number ko, sim ni." I replied him feeling smug that I didn't let my nervousness show.
Loking at me with amusement, he leaned deeper into me and whispered in my ears, "I'll just have to convince you."
Before I knew what was going on, he started raining hot open mouthed kisses down my face. From my ear to my cheek,to the corner of my mouth,my throat, my neck and I lost all thought and everything within me was shouting Kiss him! Kiss him!
Going back to my ear he whispered, "Will you give me now? Or do you want more?"
"Okay, stop, stop" I rushed out
Wait where did that come from? I wanted more.
Presenting me a wide grin, he brought out his phone, "Now, call it."
After giving him my number,he leaned closer to me. His lips hovering above mine I just needed to move a little and our lips would touch.
"Thanks for the number. I'll message you and make sure you reply me." He looked up from his phone after he had saved my contact and I held myself from shrinking back at his height.
Sometimes, I wished he wasn't too tall so it would boost me not to be intimated by his stupid height.
I'll see if I would reply you or not. Also, what do you think you were doing kissing all over my face like a dog."I glared up at him feeling the need to bruise his ego."It sure didn't feel like a dog licking your face, seems to me like you enjoyed it." Timi replied giving me a wink.
The weather was that of a odd looking one today. A sunny afternoon also cool at the same time. The breeze blew through the windows of the classroom and I held onto my book to keep it from turning from the page I was.A peaceful weather, a total illustration of Timi.Timi, a distraction I had let get to me unconsciously. Raising my foot over the other, I made a decision. A decision I should have made sooner than later.
"Spirits, lead me where my trust is without borders, let me walk upon the waters, wherever you will call me... " my mother's voice reverberated throughout the silent house. Putting it mildly, her voice was not very pleasant to the ears. Today being a Saturday was known as the an unofficial general cleaning day of the whole house. Well, for my mum because all I ever do is clean
I moaned in delight as I settled on the plush student sized bed. It was kind of comfortable though, unlike what I had imagined it to be. Well, with the large sum we were delivering to the school, it’s definitely worth it."Hi," A soft female voice call out to me from my position."Hey," I
Flashback.Today is the D day,Daddy is taking me to the park.I'm so happy.
After I arrived back from prep, I straight up went to my provision locker. I felt my stomach worms cry out as I considered mixing two cereals together.Really?"Temi, are you ready to go to bed?” Ope questioned.
Infuriating. There was no other better designation to describe Kora's behavioral structure more than infuriating and that's putting it mildly. From the moment the students of Lakeview set foot unto the school-grounds. Her frantic movement confused me as she basically sped walk to wear the Head boy, Uthman who was sitted by the bleachers with a bottle of water dangling in hands.
“I wanna give you love my Monalisa"God! Fikayo is a trouble maker. He has been disturbing me since morning. What have I done to deserve this. Tell me?With all those muscles you will think he is not playful.Quite the opposite.
"Actually, it's my daughter going in and I would be the one waiting outside." My mothers voice coolly interrupted the nurse and I felt a deep sadness well up in me.It was abnormal. It was not a normal thing to have a young teenager seeing a therapist in the African continent, especially a Nigerian country and the feeling I had always tried to swallow of how different I was, was of no help at that moment.
We were to go home for a short break of a week before resuming back for the other exam, NECO. The weather turned disastrous as the shy darkened and the breeze increased simultaneously.I got up from the designated hard well furnished wood chair linked together with a locker. It was tome, examination over. Time to finally take a short breathe and sleep for hours.
"Knock, knock." Timi helped himself in after I was done struggling with laying the bed."Aren't you like meant to actually knock rather than saying it?" I rolled my eyes at him as I moved back dodging his hands that tried to push me to him."Well duh, I did something and why are you avoiding me?" he questio
Alone in the empty common room, my mind was far from being peaceful even with the TV playing at the far end of the large common room. Plastic chairs were scattered around the place, that it could be mistaken for a party. The different notebooks of lazy students lay hopelessly on the tiled ground and I shook my head involuntarily.sigh, some students.
While hanging out with Kora yesterday, who come to think of it, I spend more time with than before, she had asked me a particular question, and I had been moon struck."Are you really her friend?"
At least I prevented the raining shouts and arguments that would have transpired between me and my mom but still, the distaste of Mondays was one thing I could never get rid off. I sometimes wonder why Monday to Friday was five days but Friday to Monday is a whole different story, short, too short that all I could think of is when next it would be Friday again. It was Monday only and I already felt the same. The classroom was filled with stylus students, normal nerds wearing glasses and flaring uniforms, positioned at various ends of the class(majorly the front roll). They each had at l
"Wake up lazy bun, today is a wonderful day. We get to go home, we get to taste better food. Get up!!" I exclaimed dramatically, finally getting up from my bed, depositing my legs in my black comfy slippers."Stand up let's get ready. Well, I don't blame you. On a norms, you would have been in school by this time." I tapped her lightly, stretching on my full tips so as to where she lay on her top bunk.
Mum had gone very early in the morning while I was still sleeping, leaving only me and my thoughts in the house. Regarding the white cream colored sturdy wall in the living room, I pondered idly on what I could use my time to do. In a moment of deciding on which series to watch, a pop from my phone signified me of a message notification.Timi💖 : Heyzz
