I'll see if I would reply you or not. Also, what do you think you were doing kissing all over my face like a dog."

I glared up at him feeling the need to bruise his ego.

"It sure didn't feel like a dog licking your face, seems to me like you enjoyed it." Timi replied giving me a wink.

"Bye, my driver should be here." He turned and started to walk away. All of a sudden, he turned, and jogged towards me.

He crashed me into him and gave me a bone crushing hug. He then leaned down and stole a peck from me. He pecked me? Timi actually pecked me!

I looked up to him but he had already vanished. I was so ready to break his baby maker.

**

Timi pecked me! He pecked me!

That kept ringing in my ear ever since my encounter with Timi. I just couldn't stop thinking about it.His lips were so soft... Ugh!!

The beep of a notification on my phasing snapped me out of my inner reverie."

Hi

I didn't need any genius to tell me it was Timi. Picking up my phone,  I clicked to reply but I dropped the phone deciding to play a little hard-to-get. Within a  minute, another peeing indicated the entry of another message.

Hey, it's Timi.

I know.

I resided to replying him.

Timi:

Babe, how are you?

Temi:

I'm fine, how about you?

Timi:

I'm fine oh just here thinking about something that happened this afternoon.

 Temi:

What happened?

Timi:

Oh nothing, I kissed a girl today...a peck rather.

Temi:

I think you actually stole it.

Timi:

Yh, but I think she liked it.

The nerve!

Timi:

So tell me, Did she  think about it too?

Temi:

NO!! And don't you ever try that with me again. I just over looked what you did because you ran away.

"Temiloluwa, Temiloluwa!!"  My mum's voice resounded throughout the silent house.

Trying not to grumble, i answered her,

"Ma."

"Come right here." I heard her move towards the kitchen.

Dropping my phone, I ran downstairs to meet my mum.

"How are you my, dear?"

My mother's grinning face met mine when I entered the kitchen.

"I'm good mum, I wonder why you are smiling so brightly." I questioned wanting to know the root of her happiness.

"I'm just happy because Doctor Tutu gave me reports concerning your therapy session."She smiled again, teeth's sparkling brightly.

That did it.

The smile breezing on my face faded quickly making every nerve in my body turn cold. Seeming to realize her mistake, mum's eye widened in realization and she cast a panicked gaze to my figure.

Echoes. Echoes of unwanted thoughts jumbled together and making a mess in my head started. I couldn't help it. I couldn't hold it in.

My eyes watered, unwanted memories played a cinema on my mind and the voices started,

spitting harsh  words at me, venom laced in their voices.

What were you thinking? That you were going to be congratulated? Go right ahead and hide, since that's all you do. Murderers always hide. Sink into your hole and hide.

"No, no, stop. I'm not a murderer, No!!" I yelled out loud, breaking into cold sweat, pleading, commanding, yelling. Anything to make the voices to stop. Still, they continued.

Murderer.

Muderer.

"No, no!"

"Mummy,  my pills. It's on my bed, Ho get it."

I yelled, lost in my head, trapped in my mind, being in a totally different world entirely.

I barely registered my mother leaving me to get my pill, returning in quick strides with a glass of water and mu pills in tow.

I took the pills, and within minutes I could feel my vision starting to get blurry. The silent sniffs my mother let loose made me turn to her.

"Mummy don't cry, I'm fine." I assured

"I'm sorry, my baby. I'm so sorry." She caressed my cheeks and I could feel the pills starting to kick in.

"It's okay, I'm......... Fine." I tried to assure her all went blank and I fell into a dark slumber.

**

I don't have dark circles or do I? questioned  the girl looking back at me in the large mirror located in my bathroom.

Damn, yes it is quite dark, but there is nothingness I could do about it.

Or is there?

Nahh.. I wouldn't use make-up foundation.

I wonder idly what else I could use apart from foundation while walking through the stairs leading to the living room downstairs.

I head straight down to the kitchen seeking my mum out. I couldn't help but feel while uncomfortable meeting my mother although I was the one who had gone to seek her out.

I let out a silent sigh of relief when I found out she was on a call. I also willed myself a silent prayer of confidence to talk to her.

" Good morning ma," I whispered to her, barely hearing my own voice. She does but stare nothing and my heart free-falls into my stomach.

Oh no!  I think I scared her a lot yesterday.

Gingerly, I walked further into the kitchen and around the island to where she was seated legs crossed,  a mug in her left hand.

"Mum, are you mad at me?" I mumbled timidly.

She sighed, reaching out for my hand and pulls me to a very tight hug.

"No, not at all." She whispered into my ear.

"I'm sorry, I just can't seem to control it." I curl deeper into her arms inhaling the heavenly smell that always came with her.

"Its okay baby, i understand you. If not me, who else would understand?" She murmured into my ear.

I smiled up at her, happy she was there for me. Glad she was always there for me. She was a mother I would always wish for.

"I love you baby." she breathes into my hair, inhaling me.

"I love you too mum." I nuzzled more into her, squeezing all that I could of her and I faintly let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding.
