85. "Accusation"

Why was Victoria alive?

Zoe asked herself that question repeatedly.

The stalker made sure to tell Zoe that he would get rid of Victoria for sure. So, he should have used a strong poison to kill her.

However, the doctor came out and informed everyone that she was alive!

"Let's go and see her now," Martin said to everyone. He patted Zoe's back as if telling her that she could clear her name because Victoria had regained consciousness.

But Zoe has doubts.

'Before Victoria lost consciousness, I recalled the moment when she grinned at me. What was that?'

"What are you doing?" Gray whispered from behind. "Hurry up and walk."

As everyone's attention was on Zoe, she reluctantly made her way to the room where Victoria was being held. She nervously fiddled with the phone in her pocket, hoping for a response from the stalker.

Upon entering the room, they found Victoria sitting on the bed. She appeared to be okay, although her face was noticeably pale.
