My head’s been aching for days because of my plates and because of Isla. She kept seducing me, and I kept pushing her away.

“Daniel, bakit kasi hindi nalang ako?” she asked as she followed me on the parking lot.

Gabing-gabi na nang matapos kami sa mga plates namin, pero sa condo kami nila Finn at Isla gumawa no'n, kaya hanggang ngayon ay sinusundan niya ako.

“I have a girlfriend, Isla. Please lang, mahal ko si Ven.”

Napatawa naman siya ng mahina. I was about to open the car door when she puts her hand on it, kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. Pagod na pagod.

“Ako itong una mong minahal, Daniel! Bakit biglang naging siya?! We promised before that we're going to marry each other!” She cried.

Napatawa ako ng mahina sa sinabi niya. Yeah, I promised that to her, but we were kids back then. Seven? Eight? What kind of thinking does a kid have
