Tyrone said, "I'm off to the company. You can take the day off and get some rest."

"It's fine.it had I can go to work," Heather countered.

He eyed her in amusement. "Aren't you exhausted after last night?"

Heather's face warmed. He was right; her legs were aching, and her body was as sore as it was worn out.

"Be a good girl and stay home today," Tyrone added when she didn't respond and handed her a tube of ointment. "Here."

"What is it?" The words on the packaging were in Erylean, but Heather didn't get a proper look at them after she took the ointment from Tyrone.

"I used it on you after you got hurt last night, but you'll have to reapply it a few more times," Tyrone explained matter-of-factly.

Hurt? She didn't remember getting hurt anywhere.

Horror and realization dawned upon Heather when she made sense of Tyrone's words. At once, she was seized by the urge to throw away the ointment like it burned her hand.
