Chapter 55

A chill ran down Anna's spine when she registered Tyrone's annoyance. The hair on the back of her neck stood.

She could live if she failed to seduce Tyrone, but the same couldn't be said if she angered him.

"I'll take my leave now, Mr. Elkin," she said. Without another word, she set the document down on his desk and dashed out of the office.

Tyrone ignored her and merely glanced at Heather's seat through the one-way glass. Storm clouds gathered in his eyes as he thought of her insolence.

After Heather was done with her shift at the Red Rose that night, she stood by the curb to try and flag down a passing cab.

At that moment, her phone buzzed. She took it out and saw that it was yet another message from Tyrone. He had sent her the address of a nightclub without any context.

Baffled, she hesitated before texting back. "Is something the matter, Mr. Elkin?"

"Come over," was all he said.
