Vivian's POV

I stood frozen, my mind reeling with confusion, as the abrupt command hung in the air.

I looked at him, trying to read his expression, but it was unreadable. I glanced around the room, wondering if I had done something wrong, but everyone else seemed just as shocked as I was.

For what felt like an eternity, I stood there, unsure of what to do next. But then, just as suddenly as he had stopped me, the CEO spoke up again.

"Please, continue, Vivian. I apologize for the interruption. I had to rectify an issue and didn't want to miss your presentation."

I let out a sigh of relief, my shoulders sagging in gratitude. I nodded, still a bit shaken, and took a deep breath to compose myself.

I felt a mix of emotions from what he had said. It was an honor for someone like him to want to earnestly listen to what I want to say, I felt a bit of pressure, and nervousness knowing he expected so much from me.

“Thank you, sir," I said, trying to sound confident. "As I was saying..."
