Sophie's POV

The familiar scent of my husband filled the air in the room as I focused on him. Oliver was a very handsome man, his brown hair falling just perfectly, framing his pointed nose and sharp jawline. He was just…. Perfect and every woman's dream.

Mine included.

He has always been my prayer and the source of my fascination.

I just consider myself one of the luckiest women on earth to have such a handsome, loving and caring person as my husband.

“Happy anniversary to us, sweetheart,” he whispered to me, caressing my earlobe as he kissed me lightly on. the cheek.

It was our anniversary and in commemoration of that, I suggested we have sex tonight.

“Same to you, love,” I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. Still staring at his desire filled gray eyes.

He grazed my hair and shifted some strands of hair off my face as he began caressing and kissing my neck, which turned me on instantly.

I felt heat begin to pull between my legs and in no time I was soaking wet just from his kisses and caressing. Oliver always knew how to get me in the mood and how to make my body respond to every one of his touches.

He pulled back and locked his eyes on mine and smiled. It was mischievous smile. One promising a night of wild fun.

a shiver of excitement ram through my body as his eyes darkened as my breathless moan.

Noticing my thighs were clasping together, Oliver slowly kissed my stomach while pulling them apart with a gentle caress.

“Ahh~” I moaned under my breath. Teasingly, his hands caressed my thighs while he maintained eye contact with me.

"You are so wet for me, baby," He groaned as his finger brushed past my shorts onto my folds. He brushed them slowly, pulling out a loud moan from my lips.

"Fuck~~ Oh goodness.... Oliver~~~"

“You like it, don't you?” he breathed.

I saw myself throwing my head back. “You know I always do,” I moaned as my hands tightened around the bed spread. .

"I love seeing you like this." Oliver replied as he nibbled on thigh . "Flushed, turned on and desperate for me."

"What do you want me to do?" he asked, as his fingers sped up their teasing.

“~~~Please~~~ Feel me up. ~~~Please,” I whispered against his mouth. My voice filled with need.

He nodded before sliding down to my thighs, he dragged my shorts off to my knees, his tongue rolled all over my entrance, circling my clit, I clutched my hands tighter on his brown hair, trying to suppress what I was feeling down there.

I heard him moaning under his breath. I was panting heavily enjoying the pleasure, then all of a sudden his phone began ringing. The shrill sound disrupts the calm atmosphere.

“Damn it, just when it was getting started,” I groaned.

He slammed beside me, both of us panting. He stretched and grabbed the phone from the bedside table. His face fell when he looked at the screen.

“Work?” I asked. He nodded, his brows furrowed before answering the phone.

I felt a lump form in my throat as I snapped my face. I knew it was definitely work. Oliver always created time to spend with me, despite his aloof self, and that was a gesture I considered very lovely. Why would they interrupt his free time for Christ's sake?

After he finished talking over the phone, he turned to me.

“This is important, Sophie, I really have to go,” he said as he rose from the bed and began dressing up.

I was rendered speechless as my heart tightened. My face frowned. It was our anniversary for crying out loud. Who goes to work on that special day?

“Come on, I'll make it up to you. This can wait. I won't be long. I promise OK?” he said, plastering a smile on his face, his voice filled with assurance.

“Alright, I'll be waiting for you. Don't stay long, OK? You know it's already late,” I said, my voice coming out flatter than I intended.

He nodded before rushing out of the room.

I raked my hands through my hair before reclining back on the bed, frustrated and disappointed. The desire coursing through my body faded. It was 7 pm for fuck sake, and he just came back from work a few hours ago. I just prayed he would keep to his promise, he wouldn't stay long.

I stood up, took my shower and headed downstairs. I grabbed a cup of coffee and sat on the couch in the living room waiting impatient for Oliver to come back. It was getting boring, so I switched on the TV to entertain myself with my favorite TV show.

It was 11 pm and Oliver wasn't back yet. A painful realization dawned on me; our anniversary was almost over.

The coffee I had made me drowsy, so I stood up and walked to the room. Angrily and disappointed, I lay on the bed, and before I knew it I slept off.

***

My eyes groggily opened to an eerily calm room. I was still alone in the room.

“Oliver!” I called out, my gaze fixed on the bathroom door hoping to hear a response, but there was none.

My eyes wandered to the wall clock, my heart skipped a beat when I saw the time. It was already eight in the morning. Oliver wasn't home yet.

I quickly climbed off the bed and went to the reading table to grab my phone, then I saw a note beside the phone. It was Oliver's handwriting.

‘Hey, I came back late yesterday, and you have already slept off. This morning I had an important meeting I needed to attend, so I didn't bother waking you up. I knew you definitely slept late yesterday. Love you.’ it read.

I let out a heavy sigh as my shoulder sagged in relief. I flung the phone back on the table and headed downstairs.

As I reached the living room, I froze in shock as my gaze met a young woman who was comfortably seated on the couch, like she owned the house. She was busy with her phone.

I cleared my throat, catching her attention. She raised her head and looked at me up and down as though I disgusted her. She didn't panic.

“Who the fuck are you? And what are you doing here?” I asked, trying to calm the rage that was building beneath my skin.

She flipped her hair nonchalantly before standing up.

“Before I answer your question, what are you doing in my boyfriend's house?” she asked, authoritatively.

My heart sank into my stomach as I tried to process what I had just heard.

"Your boyfriend?" I breathed out.
