The Fragile Percival

"No, I'm gonna find her right now!" He started to walk out, but Oliver blocked him at the door.

"Boss, if you want to find her, you need to know where she is first. Otherwise, how long are you gonna search?" Oliver grabbed his arm and tried to reason with him. "Listen to me, eat something first. I'll go figure out her schedule. You don't want to run out of energy when you finally see her."

"Boss, you've waited over three years. What's a few more hours?"

It wasn't the same. Those three long years he was waiting to die. Now he was fighting to live.

But Oliver had a point. He went back to the couch and kept staring at the livestream.

There was no fresh food in the fridge, and cooking would take too long. Oliver ordered takeout on his phone, getting some for himself too. So much for his vacation plans.

Oliver stood by the study door, glancing inside now and then to check on Percival. That ugly cat was perched on the back of the couch, craning its neck to watch the phone with Percival.
