Warren stared at Seth, whose clothes were disheveled, and gritted his teeth. "Seth, do you really think I won't lay a finger on you just because your dad's backing you?"

Before Seth could react, Warren charged like a wild beast and unleashed a barrage of blows upon him.

Warren's mind was flooded with images of Evelyn in her nightgown; her face flushed as she lay on the bed. Her hair was wet, and even her pale neck was red.

He had witnessed this sight of Evelyn before. She was his lover, yet here she lay in another man's bed.

How could he possibly bear her betrayal?

He unleashed another heavy blow on Seth, leaving him no room to fight back.

Then, a weak voice pierced through the chaos. "Warren, stop!"

Although Evelyn's words were meant to be stern, her weakened state made them feeble.
