Several days later, Warren chastised all the senior executives from various departments during a meeting.

As they left the conference room, everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Quietly, they murmured among themselves. "What's been going on with Mr. Larkin lately? Nothing seems to please him. My proposal was praised last time. But this time, I got scolded."

Someone who understood the situation smirked and said, "Who was by Mr. Larkin's side in the last meeting?"

"It was Ms. Jefferson."

"That explains it. Mr. Larkin is going through a breakup. As his subordinates, we should cut him some slack."

As they walked and talked, they didn't realize that Warren was following closely behind them.

He entered his office with a stern expression, and Clara came in with a cup of coffee, wearing a sweet smile. "Warren, I made you some coffee. Give it a try."

Warren nodded faintly and took a sip. He frowned and asked, "Did you add sugar?"
