Chapter 5: Shoes Of The Person She Bumped With

ACADIA'S POV

"Unless?" I asked while the look was still on the road.

"Unless you kiss my lips now, you haven't even told me to stop, I'll be stopped voluntarily." He said foolishly and when I looked back at him, he ran fast.

"What?!?!" I shouted.

"Just kidding!" He shouted while running.

"You're crazy." I just whispered after I could no longer chase him.

When I got to the library, I didn’t see Kerky there. I thought he's here too now?

I toured the library, of course mapping the floor as well. I hope I can see Asia here. I will not approach her if she is with someone.

And on my tour, I was not disappointed and I did see her, she was walking and she was not with her two friends. I would have approached her to talk to her, I would have asked where her friends she was supposed to pass were, and I slowly frowned after she approached a table, it looked like the people there were friends, two women and three men. Her two friends were there.

I was surprised because instead of sitting in another empty seat, she preferred to sit on the thigh of one of the guy, and it looks okay to the guy. He even covered my sister's waist.

My grip on the mop tightened. I quickly let go of that and took big steps closer to their table.

"Oh sis! Your new friend seems to be coming here." Said a female friend of her.

"Who's new friend?—" She couldn't finish the question after I pulled her closer to me to remove her from sitting with the guy. They were surprised at what I did but I didn’t care.

My heart is beating so fast. I can't imagine Asia being able to do this.

Asia's mouth dropped open after seeing me. Perhaps she was surprised to see me. I haven't said that my schedule is new and it's good I didn't say.

I let her go and turned to her companions. "Did I surprise you?" I asked and laughed fakely. "Don't think differently of what I did, I just care about my friend Asia, maybe the librarian will see her and she'll be even more upset. Next time, don't take that position here inside the school because you might get to the Dean and the outcome will not be good." I explain while Asia is speechless.

I turned to the man my sister was hugging, "Especially you." I said this seriously while pointing at him. I smiled at them before leaving in front of them.

"Hey lods! Let's eat?" Kerky asked who had just arrived here at Staff Quarters.

"Sure. All right." 

"What's your dish now, Lods? We only got paid yesterday so the hotdog that is always your dish should have leveled up. Is that footlong now?" his question made me laugh.

"Yes, Kerky. It's footlong. You're great!" I answer.

"Gags! I'm just kidding! Is it true? Let me see the dish! Oh you ha! You're loyal to foods long." Kerky so I raised an eyebrow at him. "Just kidding!" he immediately added and I was surprised when suddenly he put a dish on my food. Marinated chicken. "I really cooked that dish to give it to you because I know your dish won't level up. What? Let's eat!" He and ate some rice.

"Thank you." I and smiled at him. He smiled as well.

"Eat it, Lods." He and I nodded. And resumed eating my food.

I'm going to the Cafeteria now, because that's where I'm assigned now to wash the plates. I was about to enter the cafeteria when one of my classmates in the night class showed up.

"Professor Luan said, go to his office today." She said and I frowned. The new professor?

What could be the reason?

"Oh, really? Okay. I'll go there later, I'll just say goodbye to my kitchen companions first. Thank you." I answered and she smiled before leaving in front of me.

"Sister Linda. My professor called me. Is it okay?" I asked after getting into the kitchen and seeing her.

"Of course. It's okay for you to go. I'll be with Shella later too. She'll come later. She'll help me so it's okay." Sister Linda answered so I smiled.

"Thank you, sister Linda." Me and hurried out of the Cafeteria.

What could be the reason why he called me?

When I arrived at the Office of Professor, he was not in there. I just sat on the sofa I sat on earlier to wait for him. I leaned my head against the back of this sofa to stare again at the moons drawn on the ceiling of his office. He is not here so no one will be angry. "It's really nice." I whispered and slowly closed my eyes.

"Acadia? Acadia, wake up." I woke up after hearing Kerky's voice.

I rolled my eyes. I am here in the office of Professor Luan. I thought he was calling me?

I turned to Kerky. "What time is it?" I asked him and stood up.

"It's 4:36 pm." He replied. I came here at two o'clock in the afternoon. Where is Professor? I thought… "Let's go to the classroom before we're late." Kerky and I walked out of Professor's office and went to the classroom together.

When I got there, Professor was not yet in the classroom. Before entering, I saw two papers torn apart and just thrown here, so I decided to pick them up. I had already picked up a piece of paper, and I was about to pick up another one when suddenly the wind picked up and the torn paper flew into the classroom. I also entered the classroom and went in the direction of the torn paper.

When I got that, someone passed in front of me. I only saw its shoes because my gaze remained on the floor.

I was stunned and followed in the footsteps of that shoe. Both of my eyes narrowed.

"T-That shoe." I whispered and just stood up straight to see who was the person wearing such shoes.

That's the new professor.

My forehead furrowed. I do not understand. This morning when I bumped with someone before going to the Cafeteria, I saw the shoe of the person I had bumped with, and I was sure that shoe was the one the new professor was wearing now.

If he was the one I bumped into this morning, how come he was suddenly in the bathroom and even handed me a handkerchief? I made sure I locked the bathroom after I entered there. How... How he happened to be there suddenly in the bathroom?
