Prologue

Oppressing others doesn’t make one superior. If one’s peace was interrupted by another, numerous peace will be destroyed one by one until violence will take place and lead humanity in despair, and make them fear to fall under oppression. One will abuse its power; one will seek for justice; while the other one will live in the paradise of illusory peace, but no one can satisfy themselves with their foolish desires.

“Ohayo! Por Baron vi servancio ca! Ipesanyo ver ca por presyosva!” cry of the baron's servant. I have already prepared the payment of our rent. I glanced at my husband and saw that he was taking care of the logging.

Translation: Ohayo! The Baron is here! Prepare the payment!

I was about to approach when suddenly someone touched me. That caused me shock and apprehension. I was about to jump. I looked at it and thankfully, the one who touched me was my husband.

“Sybil, let me hand over the price to the baron's servant. I am afraid that you and our child in your womb may be in danger,” said Vishton, my husband. I was so lucky because I had a husband like him. He always makes sure that me and our child in my womb are safe.

“Previlia Park! Where is your presyosva?! Don't say you won't pay!” the treyhovia yelled at us. Treyhovia is the other name for the baron's servant. My husband immediately approached the treyhovia and bowed in homage to the superior.

Vishton happily returned to my seat. He sat and took a rest. We’re so excited because the day of the birth of our first child is approaching.

“Son, we are not even sure of your gender but we have prepared your equipment and clothes. I'm excited to see you use that, Son, but it's even more exciting to see your smile once you're born into this world. “ He kissed my stomach and forehead. I was glad to see him like this, but on the other hand, I was apprehensive. There are many dangers that can arise that could possibly cause our disintegration.

We were only at the lowest level or slaves, owned by the baron. We’re just poor so having a child is going to be really hard.

Right now, as long as I can't afford to work, Vishton is working to pay our bills. When our son is out, I plan to go back to my jobs.

The truth of the matter is that I don’t have a regular job, so I was doing everything as ordered and was taking other jobs as well. As long as I’m not doing anything wrong, it’s fine for me to overwork myself before, but a child will come so I need to stop temporarily. My career was similar to Vishton, but he was often on the farm, and tended to plant. I won't be surprised if our child also loves to plant.

“I can no longer wait for him to be taken out of my womb and for him to see the light as he recognizes us as his parents, and I will make sure that he walks in the light and not in darkness. I will also try to give him knowledge and talent despite our difficulties because I believe that he will be our path to success.“ I caressed my stomach and smiled.

Vishton looked at me. “While he is still young, let us make him feel that he has freedom. Then we will allow him to open his eyes at the right time and the right time.“ Pretty deep but I still understand.

We have dreams for our child. Some were high and impossible, but I will always hold on to that dream. There’s nothing wrong with making my dreams high. So that I know what I really want.

Aside from being free and uplifting in this state, we also want a peaceful life. I hope that other regions would not declare war because then, Vishton will be separated from us. The number of warriors in the military of this region is gradually declining on the grounds that they are constantly declaring war.

When it comes to peace, it is impossible to bring it back to this world. Peaceful life? Maybe more. I want to live somewhere far away from town. A place where there are many trees and there is a gardening farm for Vishton. Although most people wanted to live in the town so that they were close to the emperor’s palace, I would prefer to live in a quiet place.

“I'm sorry, Baron! Forgive me! It was just by chance that my mother got sick and all my money that should have been in presyosva I spent. I'm really sorry, Baron! “ I heard Vishton's friend cry. He was miserable. I want to help him but I am also worried for my son’s safety!

“Do you know the penalty for not paying rent?!” yelled the servant, “you’ll live one year in prison and as long as your relatives cannot pay, you will not be able to get out of jail!"

I lowered my gaze, pitied our friend. It is not because they bought us or we are at the lowest level that they can oppress us. We have freedoms and rights! In fact, they are overdoing it. I wanted to help but I was driven by fear. We can be vulnerable and put our child at risk.

This is really the world, it’s cruel. People who say the world is beautiful may not yet be conscious or blind. Beautiful but violent. Sometimes I just wish I didn’t see how violent it was. I would rather go blind than suffer the pain it brings.

“Vishton!” I grabbed him as he tried to run towards his friend. No, I will not let him. Our son needs a father, and if he is doomed I don’t know what else to do.

“Sybil, let me help him. He is my friend."

“But will you just let yourself be ruined?”

“Sybil, friends work together. I must not leave him."

“But, Vishton—when something happens to you your son will grow up without a father. Do you want that? To make him feel what you have experienced before? You have to stop, Vishton. “ It took a few seconds before he could answer. I beg you, Vishton, we are the ones you must choose.

“I'm sorry, Sybil. Take care of our child and raise him well. Be careful. “ He kissed my forehead. I was stunned and looked in front of me. I can see the conflict going on and I can also feel the tension. Until, they were whipped several times and decided to throw him in jail. I cannot believe it. I cannot believe it.

“A-ahhh!” I suddenly felt pain in any part of my body. I can’t tell where the painful part is. As far as I know, it was excruciating.

“A-ahhh !! Help! T-help! I think I'm going to give birth!" I alerted the ladies in the barrio. The women immediately came out to help me and put me to bed. I was writhing in pain.

“Ma'am, your son's head comes out but the shoulder stays inside.” She was confused but I was unable to respond because it was so painful!

One young woman suggested, “Ma'am, can you just change her position?” In my prediction, he was a medical student because his family had the ability to educate him.

“Let's try.”

A few hours later, they did what they had to do. I am thankful that finally, my son is out. “B-the child is alive! It's a girl! Brothers and sisters, he is the new hope of the people! “ Nothing makes me happier especially and I found out it’s alive and it’s still a woman! I also hope that he will be our hope to get out of poverty.

The female doctor was happy to look back at my practice. “Ma'am, what will you name your daughter?”

I gasped for breath with exhaustion but I still tried to answer, “M-maximaze, Maximaze Lativitus Park . . ."

I’m glad that you have been born into the world, my child . . .

To be continued . . .

Maximaze Lativitus Park Years passed just like a cold breeze of the wind. Normous was slowly claiming its own definition of peace, yet inhumane souls continued to wander around Gaia. I, on the other hand, seemed to be accompanied by havoc for the rest of my life. My instincts were real. I never found peace after the war. Never. And everything got worse when the crown was passed down on my head after the emperor gave up his position. No matter how I tried to heal myself from the tormenting haunts of my memories, I could never stay away from the cacophony of voices of them. I continued living in nightmares and in the consequences of my actions. The longer I ruled this region, the more I was slowly yet unconsciously

Maximaze ParkFortunately, despite the chaos that occurred in the region, His Majesty and the rest of the Imperial Family members were safe.I also got an update about my comrades. Isa was fighting the end of all sufferings on her deathbed because of the explosion whilst Uncle Cladius . . . was gone and was torn into pieces after the explosion. His hand and head were his only body parts that they recovered. This time, I wouldn’t lie to myself anymore or convince myself with lies. The general was dead. He joined my parents.Even though we successfully vanquished Madreign, we’re still not allowed to go out as fumes and ashes were scattered around. We remained confined here in my manor together w

Maximaze Park I sliced the neck of the person in front of me. As we started fighting, a lot of blood scattered on the ground and some of it splashed on my face. There were quite a few of them, so the fighting would take a while. As I swung the katana and it whistled sharply, dancing so gracefully on the surface yet like a rose, touching it was a trap. Those elegant moves of my weapon caused people to die in a gruesome way. I never thought of this, except the nightmares that made me keep remembering my bloody past. These high-pitched noises entering my ears whilst their blades cut through the air were making me . . . vulnerable—a weak sheep who knew nothing but to worry about something she should’ve forgotten a long time ago. An arrow passed beside my head.

Fritz took a deep breath. “Intruders ambushed Atolon and shot Commander Manuel dead. He entrusted Revi to take charge of Ahouzran. It's his order before he died.” I lowered my gaze. This was a big problem. "New Order, our ministry, gave Revi the authority to use the military to help us in the war," she said, trembling. They lost their commander. Aside from Revi, Manuel was also one of the strongest soldiers in Atolon and the

However, after hearing the full story, I got an answer to that question of mine. Renata was indeed powerful as she was a descendant of a titan god, yet the price of her ability is her own strength and life. Every time she use her powers, her life becomes shorter and shorter until nothing will be left.I couldn't blame her if she wants to live longer. She may leave her loved ones behind, grieving because of her.Honestly, when I first heard her story, selfish was

So did Revi, prompting her companion to leave the room.I sighed as I quietly observed the captain. I readied a dagger under my table just in case. This dagger was Fierro’s gift for me when I came of age.Perhaps Revi and I were the same age and I also probably saw her in neighboring towns so she was familiar. Or perhaps . . . she was part of the journey more than a decade ago.
