I turned slowly in the direction of the intimidating voice that sent the kids scrambling like that.

I cringed, expecting to see someone like Boulin walk around the corner.

Instead, a woman suddenly appeared around the corner and began waking towards us.

I was shocked. She was a small woman, even smaller then me.
