Nikolai was practically burning holes in Parker's hand on my head. I rolled my eyes.

Now I remembered how he'd reacted weirdly every time that Parker's name came up in the past.

I'd attributed his reactions to crazy Alpha mood swings at the time and that had scared the shit out of me.

But now that I knew it was just him being jealous... I couldn't help but be amused.

"Mr Reese, I hope you're okay," he said.

"I'm fine," Nikolai answered in a clipped tone. "We should probably head inside now so we can leave as soon as possible."

Parker nodded. "I agree," he said. "But first, I want to make sure you're on the same page because they are going to question you separately. If you conflict each other in any way, that can be problematic for us."
