Jaxson POV Scarlet pulled the book back and the whole thing protested as it moved. Opening up to reveal a dark and dingy tunnel. Holy fuck! I haven’t seen something like this in ages. Jaxson POV It has been a few days since we visited Maverick. He said he would look over things and get back to me. Scarlet POV Rolling over, I was met with a cold bed. It took blinking a few times for me to focus on the empty bed beside me.
