Chapter Five: We Should Marry, Theo

Theodore Maximiliano

"Where is the newly appointed secretary?" I asked Clark, my eyes darting around the office in a rage.

The past two days since Benita was out of sight and still no one? I described this as incompetent.

"Boss, I apologize for the delay. Isabella Mackenzie submitted her CV today, and it is still on hold. We will most likely interview with her tomorrow, and she will begin the following day." He responded, and I snickered coldly, my gaze fixed on the computer in front of me.

"Do you listen to yourself? Do you even realize how unprofessional you just sounded? Secretary is needed right away, and you would have checked her resume and interviewed her today. She is not the only one who wants a job. There are many more, and you could only pull her out?" I inquired, and he remained silent with a bow.

"Sir, you stated that the rest are unsuitable for your work. I am looking for someone who matches your preferences."He replied in defence, and I rolled my eyes.

"I need a new secretary...

"Babe," I heard the voice that I dreaded hearing when I was upset.

Alyena.

Always appears when I am annoyed.

"This is it!" If we had a secretary, someone would not just barge into my office with no regard." I flared up, and he simply bowed down.

"But, she is your girl..."

"And so f-cking what?" Did I mention I would be seeing her today? If you do not have the courtesy of calling me before showing up unexpectedly when you go on a trip without informing me." I replied coldly as Clark walked out of my office, leaving me with innocent-looking black eyes in front of me.

Her long, beautiful black hair complemented her black brows. She was the epitome of beauty, but that does not convince me at this point.

She walked over to me elegantly, her heels glittering against the floor tiles and her short exposed denim blue skirt piqued my interest.

She was the obsessive soul who loved blue.

She was always convincing me that her obsession with blue stemmed from my piercing blue eyes.

"What brings you here?" I inquired sarcastically.

Alyena being my girlfriend was never ideal for me at times. Her never-ending conversations and arguments made me want to poke her occasionally. As the saying goes, she was the weapon designed to harm me.

She squinted her eyes, as if not believing the question I had just asked.

"Did you ask me that question? Theodore." She whined, dropping her bag in front of me.

I rubbed my face with my hand in annoyance. The thought of having a heated discussion made me sick.

This wasn't good for my health ___perhaps like the doctor said. I needed someone to console me in my time of need, but she was the complete opposite of his prescription.

"I am busy, Alyena. "We should do this at home," I said, and she shook her head in disapproval.

"I am sorry, Tee. I did not mean to disappear like that. It was all work. I was occupied with the fashionista." She said, slowly moving towards me and placing her hand gently on my face.

"You miss me; I miss you even more. I am sorry." She begged, and I glamped in hard.

She was tempting me once more.

I scooped her up into my arms in an instant, and she giggled with delight, gripping my neck tightly for support.

I sniffed her body, inhaling her scent. I could not pretend that I had not missed the little lady here.

Being troublesome was something I would learn to accept from her.

I slowly kissed her lips, pressing in deeper as she silently moaned with pleasure.

"Always prepared, huh?" I said in between kisses, and she just giggled in response.

"You should be an obedient princess for me. Do not leave without my permission. I warned her, kissing her every minute as she gasped for breath.

"I should be your top priority." You will have everything you need. Do not leave." I warned, planting a kiss all over her lovely face.

I can be a possessive person. She was mine, after all, and I could not stay angry with her for a day.

"Yes, Daddy Theo." She moaned and winked at me more seductively.

"Go home and prepare for tonight. Veronica should be home to serve you whatever you desire." I told her, gazing at her sexy, freshly cleaned lips as she blushed.

"Can not we leave now?" She inquired impatiently, and I smiled.

"Daddy has a lot of things to do; please leave before he loses his composure," I warned, causing me to smirk.

"Well, I want Daddy to lose his restraint."

A soft knock on the door interrupted our little conversation, and I raised my brows at her, signalling that everything I had just said was true.

"Come in," I responded, and Clark entered, holding some documents.

"The Orizano document, Boss." He said, handing me the files, as Alyena stood up from my already-erect leg.

"Hmm, yummy." She winked as she made her comment.

"When I am done, Clark, we will have this conversation."

He bowed and left after hearing my words, leaving me to open the document.

"We should marry, Theo."

My eyes widened and my brows twitched with amusement as I heard her words.

Not again!

We were having a pleasant conversation now. Why does she have to do this at every available opportunity?

She brought up the subject of marriage once more, and I despised it.

My face grew cold as I stared at her.

"Alyena, can we not discuss marriage? This is not the time to let go of the good mood. Keep things the way they are." I warned curtly, causing her to glare at me frantically.

"Go home to Veronica," I instructed, and she scoffed.

"One year, Theo." We have been together for a year, and you still doubt me. I am 24 years old, and you think I am not old enough to be your wife? You intend to dump me?" She yelled out, tears streaming down the corners of her eyes.

She is at it again. She starts crying after only a few words.

"Alyena, please leave." I quickly spoke, my gaze drawn to the document on the table.

I could feel her gaze on me,

and after a minute, she roughly picked up her bag and sashayed out of my office, slamming the door hard in anger.
