My heart clenched as we walked into the cemetery. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I can't believe I assumed he would take me out on a date. I must have been delusional for a while, but now my eyes are wide open.

I glanced at Vladimir. He was awfully quiet. I don't know why he took me here if he will ignore my presence. Perhaps he even forgot that I was here with him. He just kept on walking as if reminiscing about the good old days. While there I was, utterly annoyed at how the pointed heels of my stilettos kept sinking on the ground.

He should have at least warned me. He saw what I was wearing before we left. He could have told me to change. That's the least he could have done!
