Adrian
I push out from the curb, the cold night air, hitting my skin. My bike engine revs as I drive through the darkness. The street is empty and there is no soul around. The world is quiet and it feels like I'm the only one awake. I'm not. A lot of things are going on even in the darkness. Dark things. I pull into a street and I soon arrive in front of a house. An old detached house that looks abandoned. I climb off my bike, pull off my helmet, and go straight into the house. “Where is Igor?” I ask, stopping in front of a huge man. I've met him only a few times before and he never hides the distaste he has towards me. “Inside. You're late.” He says in a rough Russian accent and I scoff. I was asleep when I got a call asking me to come to the house. It was fucking 1 am when I got a call from Igor, asking me to come over immediately. I ignore him and instead walk inside the house. The outside may look abandoned and old, but the inside isn't. In fact, everything is just a facade to hide all the dirty dealings. “You called me.” I storm into a room and a man is seated on a chair, with a naked lady whose hands are tied backward in between his legs, sucking his dick. “Yes, sit.” Igor points at a chair in front of him. I frown in disgust. Does he expect me to talk to him with a woman blowing him? What a twisted man! I scoff inwardly and force myself to sit. Ignoring the gagging sounds from the woman. “What do you want?” I go straight to the point, wanting to leave as soon as possible. Igor is a sturdy built man, he's over fifty and runs an organization. I have no idea what he does and I don't give two flying fucks about it. From the rumors I heard, he sells and trafficks women and children. I'm not a part of that, I only help him carry out a few operations and get paid. “Here.” He throws an envelope at me and I catch it just in time. My brows furrows going through the pictures in the envelopes. I'm distracted by the woman moaning as Igor comes in her mouth. She swallows up his cum like the slut she is and he finally pulls out of her mouth. “Leave.” His voice is stern and authoritative. The lady stands and walks, her hands still tied. “What is this? I hope it's not what I'm thinking?” I hiss in annoyance. This man is sending me on a suicide mission and he knows it. That's utterly impossible. “It's exactly what you're thinking Adrian. Get the job done.” He states, not a single emotion crossing his face. “This is the same thing as asking me to kill myself. Nobody can get to this man.” I've heard rumors about him. Nikolai Rostov. The most ruthless man in the whole of Russia. Каратель ( The punisher ) That’s what they call him and I know that he shouldn’t be dwelt with. He's a part of the Bratva and is one of the most important members, there’s no way I will be able to get close enough to kill him. “I trust your capabilities, Adrian. You're my sniper. The smartest and the job is going to be a lot easier than you think.” He smirks and motions at the envelope. “Look inside.” I look inside and find an address. “A wedding is being held at the church tomorrow. Nikolai will be there. Kill him.” He instructs his voice hard. The operations I carried out for Igor were killing people. You can call me the best sniper there is because I am. I've never missed a shot. “I don't know,” I mumble, creasing my brows. I'm not scared of Nikolai but it's better to avoid his path or the Bratva. I hate unnecessary trouble and stay away from it. Nikolai Rostov is trouble. “Are you backing down now? Don’t tell me you’re being a pussy because of the bastard.” Igor hisses, picking up a cigarette from a table beside him and he lights it up. “I’m not scared Igor.” I grit my teeth. “Then do it!” He snaps, but I remain unblinking. I’m not scared of the fucker Nikolai. Igor is not part of the Bratva and the people I’ve killed for him in the past were not part of the Bratva. Just men who crossed his path. “I’ll pay you. Better than the others.” He offers. Yeah, he should. I’m fucking going to charge him. A lot. “That can’t change my mind.” I glare at him. “We both know you need the money, Adrian. I trust your skills. Don’t be a coward.” I know what he’s trying to do. To egg me on, and it’s working. I’m not a coward and I need the money. “You’ll deposit half of the payment!” I announce standing up to my feet. “Sure. I’ll send something to your account.” I don’t bother negotiating with Igor. He knows exactly how to make payments and he does it well. “Do that in thirty minutes,” I announce, making my way to the door. “The wedding is tomorrow.” I don’t reply to him and open the door instead. I need to get drunk, that will boost my adrenaline. “Don’t miss. I want Nikolai dead.” “I never miss,” I smirk at Igor and walk out. I step out of the house and his stupid guard is still there. I totally ignore him and walk to my bike, hopping on it. But I can still feel his gaze on me. One day, I’ll definitely blow his head off. But now, there’s someone’s brain I need to spill. Nikolai Rostov. The fucking punisher. I never miss a shot and never will. Tomorrow, Nikolai will die by my gun and I’ll make sure of it.Adrian.My heart pounds against my chest as I peek out of my hiding spot. With my gun in hand, I was ready to fire once I spot my target. Sweat drips from my brows as I listen to all the noises coming from the hall and I worry. Igor had told me to get in and out as fast as possible, but the target hadn't shown up. He'd told me getting in would be the hardest part and I did just that. The target is what was keeping me longer than I am meant to be here."Where are you, you fucker?" I say as I look through the little opening in my hideout. That's when I notice the guards seem to have doubled and I panic. Okay, okay, breathe in, I tell myself. It is just an extra set of pinheads, nothing I can't take care of, I say to myself. I am Adrian, AKA one-shot sniper, I never miss. This was nothing. But something in the back of my mind is telling me there is something off. I can't put my finger on it, but I hope everything falls in line. It would be a pain if it didn't."Viktor… Alexei…Mikhail,
Adrian “He really underestimated me.” He smacks his lips, shaking his head meaningfully.“I like you, Adrian.” He says again and I find myself glaring at him.“That's why I'm going to offer you a deal,” He continues and I just stare at him. What deal?“You have two options. It's either you get killed or you kill.” “What do you want Nikolai?” I grunt, feeling pain course through my body.“If you want to kill me, just do it already!!” I yell, struggling with the chair and it makes annoying sounds that make my ears itch.“Why kill such a pretty boy like you, when I can make good use of you?” He asks no one in particular, then he smiles and continues.“The deal is simple, work for me. Not only will it earn you your freedom, you'll get paid more than what that fucker pays you.”“And why should I work for you?”“I've run my check on you, you have potential and I like that. So what do you say? Huh?” He stares directly into my eyes and I look away. Not that I find him intimidating but I fel
Adrian “Get the job done real quick. We’ll be leaving in one hour.” Niko-fucking-lia voice rings in my ear as I drive my bike to Igor’s place. Am I going to kill him? Yes. It's either I die or he dies. I can't give up my life for him, there's so much more I'm yet to achieve. I grunt angrily, maneuvering my bike to his place. I can't even think of running away after killing him. Fucking Nikolai placed a tracker on me. I don't know where. He made me unconscious, opened a part of my body, and planted a tracker there. I've tried looking for the spot, but I can't find it. I don't feel any pain either. Another grunt escapes my lips as I swerve my bike to a dark alley. I would make it quick and pay a quick visit to Larisa, my girlfriend. I know she'll be so worried about me. I can't even find my phone. I pull up my bike in front of Igor’s house and step down. I catch sight of the guard. Annoying bastard. “Where's Igor?” I ask, standing in front of him. I look unharmed, but I have a
Adrian Everything feels blank. I loved Larisa so much. I killed for her. I did everything for her and what did I get in return?Parking in front of the building Nikolai asked me to meet, I climb down from my bike. He's outside the building, with three SUVs parked. He's ready to leave.I watch him talking to one of his men. His hair is not packed this time and just flies in the wind as he speaks. Bastard. Do I hate him? Yes. A lot. He gets on my nerves. He turns his head over to my direction and when his eyes land on me, he smiles.“You made a mess.” He comments, motioning for me to walk towards him.“I asked you to kill Igor, just him.” He must have seen the bodies.“Who I kill is none of your fucking business.” I grit my teeth and the smile on his face widens as he speaks.“You'll need to learn your manners, Adrian, you don't speak to me in that tone.” The smile on his face falls. “I'm your boss.” He adds before turning back to the man he was speaking to earlier.“We're leaving.” H
Adrian “Step back miss,” I utter softly to the raging lady in front of me with my most respectful voice, but the look in her eyes only hardens.“Who the fuck is this bastard!” She yells in Russian and I slowly shake my head. Why is Nikolai still quiet? He should deal with his sister.“Please step back, miss.” I utter politely, but she only glares harder at me before looking at her brother.“Tell this bastard to get his hands off me Nikolai, or I'll kill him before killing you!” She snaps again in Russian and finally, Nikolai reacts.“Are you done, Irina?” Irina. That's her name.“No, I'm not. Where the hell were you?” She screams at him, finally releasing the knife. I sigh in relief, bending down to pick up the knife.“You just disappeared after father's funeral and you think you can appear again. Get out Nikolai, you're not needed anymore!” She screams, her face red as she practically jumps in his face though he's way taller than her.“Irina,” Nikolai begins, taking in a deep breath
Adrian I have no idea how I fell asleep, but I did it. I wake up the next morning, with someone pounding on my door loudly. And who the fuck is that bastard? I think to myself, a groan escaping my lips as I slowly get out of bed.I'm still wearing my clothes from yesterday and seriously, I need a change of clothes.“Who's it?” I ask groggily, opening the door to reveal the face of a man.Huge, tall. Jet black hair with black eyes. He has that terrifying look that scares people. Too bad, he doesn't scare me.“Who?” “Follow me.” He utters instead and immediately turns to leave. What the hell? Just that?My brows furrow and I reluctantly begin to follow behind him.“If you want to work here. You have to be punctual. No one sleeps till eight.” He points out, walking towards the direction of Nikolai's study.“Where did the boss pick you from?” He pauses, turning to face me.“Why don't you ask him that yourself?” I challenge, I hate his humor. Who does he even think he is? “Look Adrian,”
Nikolai As I walk into the Dining room with Olga, three pairs of eyes stare directly at me. One with anger. I totally understand Irina, she'll come around. And two with nothing but pure contempt. Those two pairs of eyes belong to my mother and brother. She stands up the moment she sees me, Pavel following suit like the dog he is.“What are you doing here?” She asks, not hiding the hatred she has for me. I'm already used to it.Her hair is packed in a tight bun and she's wearing her usually straight red dress which usually has a black belt that matches with her shoe.“Because this is my house.” A smile graces my lips and my eyes land on my little sister.“How are you, Irina?” I ask.“As if you care how I am.” She mumbles standing up to her feet and she disappears from the dining room, going straight upstairs.Seriously, Irina and Olga are the only people I care for in this house.Olga is not my mother but she practically raised me and made me feel motherly love and Irina, she used to
Nikolai I notice the way Adrian keeps clearing his throat and staring outside the window. He's nervous. I smile to myself as I look outside as well. We arrive in front of a huge gate. The gate opens and our car drives in.As we approach the compound, I'm enveloped by an aura of seclusion and security. The house sits atop a hill, surveying its surroundings like a fortress. The perimeter is shrouded in tall, dense trees. To the left, a sleek, modern gatehouse stands still, manned by heavily armed guards. Their eyes scan every visitor, their faces expressionless. As we near the main house, the sound of distant traffic fades, replaced by the soft hum of security cameras and the muted chatter of guards patrolling the grounds. The car stops in front of the main house, and we all step down. “Kuzma, you'll wait here. Ilya and Adrian will follow me in.” I instruct and notice the way Ilya looks at Adrian. He doesn't trust him.He threw a fit last night, asking why I suddenly employed anot
NikolaiAdrian is avoiding me. I don't need a seer to tell me that. He avoids me like a plague and he has been keeping things too professional. Too Professional, and seriously, I hate that. I literally hate how he has been acting. This attitude started the day Nikol came to this house, and since then, he’s been avoiding me. Whenever I ask a question, he answers professionally. I know that it’s supposed to be that way, seeing I'm his boss and he’s my guard, but I don't want things to go that way. I have to get him to open up.“Good evening, Koyla.’’ Nikol waves at me the moment I pass the dining room. She’s at the dining room with Irina who sneers right after Nikol waves at me. I Pause, waving at Irina actually before walking past, Adrian and Kuzma walking behind me. Since the day I sent Nikol out of my office, which was three days ago, she had not made any advances towards me. She still gives me that sultry look, thinking maybe I might change my mind and Fuck her. In her dreams, the
Adrian I can't sleep. It's raining outside and I'm finding it so hard to sleep. Getting out of bed, I decide to take a walk, thinking that if I get back to my room, I'll finally be able to get some sleep.I swear I do not want to do it, but my legs involuntarily move towards Nikolai's study. I know he's not in his room. I've never seen the bastard sleep.I'm a few meters away from his study when I see him walk out the door with Nikol. I quickly hide behind a pillar as my face contorts in annoyance. What's she doing with him in the middle of the night dressed like a whore? I can literally see her underwear from where I'm standing. Their voices are inaudible, but Nikolai says something to her before going back into his study.Did they have sex? I know I'm not supposed to care or give a shit about me, but if Nikolai says he wants to have sex with me, he shouldn't go around having sex with another woman.Am I that possessive? Yes and why is it towards Nikolai? The man I'm supposed to ha
Nikolai Irina does not like Nikol one bit. They never got along and I don't blame my little sister, Nikol can be a little annoying and overbearing. And Adrian! He looked kind of annoyed when we were outside and while Irina and Nikol kept bantering, my eyes were fixed on him.He looked fucking pretty as always and I kept thinking of ways to eat him up. I couldn't take my eyes off him, not until the cold wind came rushing in and I had to take my sister inside.I have long tucked Irina in bed after it started raining.. After dinner, I took her to her room before coming to my study because I had some work to do. About 30 minutes after I get to my study, I get a call from Mikhail. I know why he's calling. I noticed some kind of errors while checking the file Alexei forwarded to me just a few minutes ago.“I guess you've seen it.” He says the moment I pick up the call.“Yeah.” I draw out slowly, my eyes still fixed on my laptop.“Several packages are missing.” I mutter under my breath, my
Adrian I walk behind Irina as she goes to her brother and Nikol.“Hi, Irina.” Nikol waves the moment Irina stops in front of her. Irina does not acknowledge her greeting at all. She ignores her and then turns to face her brother.“What's she doing here, Koyla?” She demands and Nikolai whose hands are leisurely shoved into his pocket replies.“She'll be staying here for a few days.” He replies. What? He brought a woman? And what will be going on during those few days? He'll be fucking her. Like what the hell?“Why? She has a house?” Irina spits, her eyes glaring daggers at Irina.“Irina dear, I don't know why you're-” “Shut up! I wasn't talking to you!” Irina interrupts in a sharp tone. I'm angry just as she is or rather I'm involuntarily angry. I don't want to care, but I can't help it.My eyes fall on her hand that's wrapped around Nikolai's arms. He's not holding her, she's the one that's clinging to him. I tell myself mentally to stop making an issue out of it, or better still,
Adrian “You need to see the amazing things I got from the mall.” Irina grins as I walk her out of the garden. In my hand, is her cat. Not only have I become friends with Irina, but her cat Minnie seems to like me a lot.“That's nice. I'm glad you got to go shopping.” I say with a genuine smile on my face.“Me too and I'm so happy I had the chance to get you something, Adrian. I've really wanted to get you a gift again. It's with me, guess what I got you.” She grins happily and my brows furrow. She's holding a bag and I have no idea what is in it. She's been giving gifts, and they're usually from the things she has here at home.“I'm very bad at guessing, Irina.” I point out with a chuckle. She shrugs her shoulders and then passes the gift bag to me as she collects Minnie from me.With narrowed brows, I bring out the gift box. As I open the gift box, my eyes widen at the sight of a necklace.“A necklace?” I mutter in confusion and she bobs her head gingerly.“Yes, Ady. I got a matchin
Nikolai You can say that I was in a very terrible mood throughout the whole day. Zorya ruined everything, but after spending time with Adrian, Fuck everything feels so ecstatic. Like damn it! Fuck! He kissed me willingly and didn't mind us stroking each other to get ourselves off. You can say I had the best time of my life.Adrian just left about thirty minutes ago after cleaning himself up. And I feel the need to go to his room, drag him back to mine and fuck him. Or better still, I'll fuck him in his room. Just that his room is not soundproof, if I fuck him there, everyone will definitely hear him moaning out because I'm not going to hold back while I fuck his tight ass.I inhale sharply, reaching out for my cigarette, which I push into my mouth as I light it up. Just after I drag out a smoke, my phone rings. My brows furrow as I take a look at the caller. Nikol? I haven't heard from her for like forever. You know that scenario where you live with an abusive father who thinks he ca
Adrian I fucking kissed him..I did. Not because he forced me to or that he talked me into it, it's because I wanted to. My body wanted it.I move my lips and he parts his, welcoming me in. While I place my hand on the side of his face, he wraps his hands around my neck as we kiss. The kiss is slow and sensual and our lips move in the same sync.As our lips move in perfect harmony, the world around us melts away. The gentle pressure of his lips sends shivers down my spine. I feel his warm breath dancing across my skin, and my heart beats in sync with his. Fuck! I feel so hot and my dick is fucking hard. His tongue grazes mine, and I'm enveloped in a wave of desire. The kiss deepens, our mouths exploring each other's. Every nerve in my body comes alive, responding to his touch.I slowly wrap my arms around him, pulling him closer. His hands cradle my face, thumbs tracing the contours of my cheeks. Time stands still as we savor the moment. The kiss is a slow-burning fire, igniting pass
Adrian It fucking hurts, the same spot where Mikhail punched me. Kuzma even confirmed that I had a back eye. Damn it! I'm sure I look terrible now. They step out soon and he smirks at me saying I look good with a black eye.I would have lost control and killed him, but Alexei dragged him away. Vladimir leaves and Nikolai comes out of the office moments after. He stares at me briefly before walking away. We go to the SUV and Kuzma drives home. The moment we step into the house, the first person I see is Irina. She gingerly runs to meet me. It seems she's been expecting me.“Ady, thank God you're back!” She exclaims, then turns to wave at her brother and then Kuzma.“Hi, Koyla, Kuzma.”“Koyla allowed me to go shopping today and I got a lot of amazing things. For myself and Minnie,” She suddenly stops babbling and her eyes widen in surprise. “What happened to you?” “Your eye,” she mumbles and I inwardly bite my lips hard. Damn you to hell, Mikhail. Damn you.“What happened?” “He got i
Nikolai Mikhail can be an ass and when he's up to one of his mischievous tactics. No one can stop him. I already knew before that he'll raise his fist at Adrian just like he promised and I seriously expected Adrian to block the attack.I feel so angry after the banter with Zorya. That woman riles me up. She makes me feel so fucking angry. I hate her so much. There was a time when I always looked up to Zorya. When I was younger, I loved my mama and I wanted her to shower me with love like other mothers did to their children. She never did! Throughout the years before Pavel was born, she never failed to remind me how much of a failure I was and how she regretted birthing me. I'd go days, weeks, and months without seeing my mother and I'd cry, like the broken little kid that I was. When Pavel was born everything became worse.Do you know how it feels to watch the mother who you've always looked up to for affection love your little brother like she could die for him? It was at that momen
