Adrian
I push out from the curb, the cold night air, hitting my skin. My bike engine revs as I drive through the darkness. The street is empty and there is no soul around. The world is quiet and it feels like I'm the only one awake. I'm not. A lot of things are going on even in the darkness. Dark things. I pull into a street and I soon arrive in front of a house. An old detached house that looks abandoned. I climb off my bike, pull off my helmet, and go straight into the house. “Where is Igor?” I ask, stopping in front of a huge man. I've met him only a few times before and he never hides the distaste he has towards me. “Inside. You're late.” He says in a rough Russian accent and I scoff. I was asleep when I got a call asking me to come to the house. It was fucking 1 am when I got a call from Igor, asking me to come over immediately. I ignore him and instead walk inside the house. The outside may look abandoned and old, but the inside isn't. In fact, everything is just a facade to hide all the dirty dealings. “You called me.” I storm into a room and a man is seated on a chair, with a naked lady whose hands are tied backward in between his legs, sucking his dick. “Yes, sit.” Igor points at a chair in front of him. I frown in disgust. Does he expect me to talk to him with a woman blowing him? What a twisted man! I scoff inwardly and force myself to sit. Ignoring the gagging sounds from the woman. “What do you want?” I go straight to the point, wanting to leave as soon as possible. Igor is a sturdy built man, he's over fifty and runs an organization. I have no idea what he does and I don't give two flying fucks about it. From the rumors I heard, he sells and trafficks women and children. I'm not a part of that, I only help him carry out a few operations and get paid. “Here.” He throws an envelope at me and I catch it just in time. My brows furrows going through the pictures in the envelopes. I'm distracted by the woman moaning as Igor comes in her mouth. She swallows up his cum like the slut she is and he finally pulls out of her mouth. “Leave.” His voice is stern and authoritative. The lady stands and walks, her hands still tied. “What is this? I hope it's not what I'm thinking?” I hiss in annoyance. This man is sending me on a suicide mission and he knows it. That's utterly impossible. “It's exactly what you're thinking Adrian. Get the job done.” He states, not a single emotion crossing his face. “This is the same thing as asking me to kill myself. Nobody can get to this man.” I've heard rumors about him. Nikolai Rostov. The most ruthless man in the whole of Russia. Каратель ( The punisher ) That’s what they call him and I know that he shouldn’t be dwelt with. He's a part of the Bratva and is one of the most important members, there’s no way I will be able to get close enough to kill him. “I trust your capabilities, Adrian. You're my sniper. The smartest and the job is going to be a lot easier than you think.” He smirks and motions at the envelope. “Look inside.” I look inside and find an address. “A wedding is being held at the church tomorrow. Nikolai will be there. Kill him.” He instructs his voice hard. The operations I carried out for Igor were killing people. You can call me the best sniper there is because I am. I've never missed a shot. “I don't know,” I mumble, creasing my brows. I'm not scared of Nikolai but it's better to avoid his path or the Bratva. I hate unnecessary trouble and stay away from it. Nikolai Rostov is trouble. “Are you backing down now? Don’t tell me you’re being a pussy because of the bastard.” Igor hisses, picking up a cigarette from a table beside him and he lights it up. “I’m not scared Igor.” I grit my teeth. “Then do it!” He snaps, but I remain unblinking. I’m not scared of the fucker Nikolai. But I’m done with the Bratva, whatever I had with them died years ago. Igor is not part of the Bratva and the people I’ve killed for him in the past were not part of the Bratva. Just men who crossed his path. “I’ll pay you. Better than the others.” He offers. Yeah, he should. I’m fucking going to charge him. A lot. “That can’t change my mind.” I glare at him. “We both know you need the money, Adrian. I trust your skills. Don’t be a coward.” I know what he’s trying to do. To egg me on, and it’s working. I’m not a coward and I need the money. “You’ll deposit half of the payment!” I announce standing up to my feet. “Sure. I’ll send something to your account.” I don’t bother negotiating with Igor. He knows exactly how to make payments and he does it well. “Do that in thirty minutes,” I announce, making my way to the door. “The wedding is tomorrow.” I don’t reply to him and open the door instead. I need to get drunk, that will boost my adrenaline. “Don’t miss. I want Nikolai dead.” “I never miss,” I smirk at Igor and walk out. I step out of the house and his stupid guard is still there. I totally ignore him and walk to my bike, hopping on it. But I can still feel his gaze on me. One day, I’ll definitely blow his head off. But now, there’s someone’s brain I need to spill. Nikolai Rostov. The fucking punisher. I never miss a shot and never will. Tomorrow, Nikolai will die by my gun and I’ll make sure of it.Adrian.My heart pounds against my chest as I peek out of my hiding spot. With my gun in hand, I was ready to fire once I spot my target. Sweat drips from my brows as I listen to all the noises coming from the hall and I worry. Igor had told me to get in and out as fast as possible, but the target hadn't shown up. He'd told me getting in would be the hardest part and I did just that. The target is what was keeping me longer than I am meant to be here."Where are you, you fucker?" I say as I look through the little opening in my hideout. That's when I notice the guards seem to have doubled and I panic. Okay, okay, breathe in, I tell myself. It is just an extra set of pinheads, nothing I can't take care of, I say to myself. I am Adrian, AKA one-shot sniper, I never miss. This was nothing. But something in the back of my mind is telling me there is something off. I can't put my finger on it, but I hope everything falls in line. It would be a pain if it didn't."Viktor… Alexei…Mikhail,
Adrian “He really underestimated me.” He smacks his lips, shaking his head meaningfully.“I like you, Adrian.” He says again and I find myself glaring at him.“That's why I'm going to offer you a deal,” He continues and I just stare at him. What deal?“You have two options. It's either you get killed or you kill.” “What do you want Nikolai?” I grunt, feeling pain course through my body.“If you want to kill me, just do it already!!” I yell, struggling with the chair and it makes annoying sounds that make my ears itch.“Why kill such a pretty boy like you, when I can make good use of you?” He asks no one in particular, then he smiles and continues.“The deal is simple, work for me. Not only will it earn you your freedom, you'll get paid more than what that fucker pays you.”“And why should I work for you?”“I've run my check on you, you have potential and I like that. So what do you say? Huh?” He stares directly into my eyes and I look away. Not that I find him intimidating but I fel
Adrian“Get the job done real quick. We’ll be living in one hour.” Niko-fucking-lia voice rings in my ear as I drive my bike to Igor’s place. Am I going to kill him? Yes. It's either I die or he dies. I can't give up my life for him.I grunt angrily, maneuvering my bike to his place. I can't even think of running away after killing him. Fucking Nikolai placed a tracker on me. I don't know where. He made me unconscious, opened a part of my body, and planted a tracker there. I've tried looking for the spot, but I can't find it. I don't feel any pain either. Another grunt escapes my lips as I swerve my bike to a dark alley. I would make it quick and pay a quick visit to Larisa, my girlfriend. I know she'll be so worried about me. I can't even find my phone.I pull up my bike in front of Igor’s house and step down. I catch sight of the guard. Annoying bastard.“Where's Igor?” I ask, standing in front of him. I look unharmed, but I have a gun hidden. A silent pistol. I know Igor is alone
Adrian Everything feels blank. I loved Larisa so much. I killed for her. I did everything for her and what did I get in return?Parking in front of the building Nikolai asked me to meet, I climb down from my bike. He's outside the building, with three SUVs parked. He's ready to leave.I watch him talking to one of his men. His hair is not packed this time and just flies in the wind as he speaks. Bastard. Do I hate him? Yes. A lot. He gets on my nerves. He turns his head over to my direction and when his eyes land on me, he smiles.“You made a mess.” He comments, motioning for me to walk towards him.“I asked you to kill Igor, just him.” He must have seen the bodies.“Who I kill is none of your fucking business.” I grit my teeth and the smile on his face widens as he speaks.“You'll need to learn your manners, Adrian, you don't speak to me in that tone.” The smile on his face falls. “I'm your boss.” He adds before turning back to the man he was speaking to earlier.“We're leaving.” H
