“No, there is nothing to sell,” Tiffany laughs, “it is just we like our space, and I think it's best you go back home.”
Casey glances in the mirror to look at Joshua, hoping he will say something. Joshua glances and looks at the road. “So,” she changes the topic, “Tiffany, who is the lucky guy in your life?”
“No one,” Tiffany laughs.
“Come on, you can tell me.”
“Nothing to tell,” she smiles.
“And you, Joshua?”
“Oh, he has a girlfriend,” Tiffany lies, “they have been dating for years.”
“Ok,” says Casey looking down at her phone.
Arriving in a silent valley, they can't help to notice how quiet the place is. There are broken windows and no one in sight. “Why is this place so quiet?” Tiffany says.
“Well,” says Casey, “there was a virus outbreak that killed half the
“Relax,” says Tiffany to Casey, “you will be fine.”Casey grins, “I know I have been through the worst.”Joshua and Casey now head off back to bed. “It’s freezing,” Casey says, “I thought this place was hot.”“Well, it's that time of the year when nighttime is cold and the day is sweltering.”Laying next to Joshua, Casey's heart is racing at his body heat. All she wants to do is just hold him.She then turns to face Joshua, making it as if she is asleep.Tiffany whispers to Joshua, “don't you think we should send her back home? Because we are endangering her life.”Joshua turned on his side, facing Tiffany, “let's talk in the morning. It has been a long day.”“Yes, it has,” she smiles, holding her pillow tight.“I miss mom,” she whispers as her eyes start to water, reflecting on all their fantasti
Turning around, Joshua bends and grabs the gun twisting the person's arm. When he turns around, more inmates stand there, “there are seven, not six of them. Ghost, how did we miss this one?”“I am not sure, Sir. My system never picked up the seventh one. It's weird, though. My system just crashed.”“Hold on, Ghost. So you knew we were here, I take it?” he says to the guy.The guy refuses to answer as Joshua twists the hand more, “fine,” the guy screams as the other six guys now have their guns facing Joshua and Tiffany. The guy who was interrogating Tiffany now steps forward. “So, you the Joshua we were waiting for? The so-called cold and dangerous Joshua, who killed his own Father. You fools, you fell right into our trap. You see, that girl is not a hostage. Steve untie her,” he laughs, “that is your dear friend Andrea. Let's say she was not dead when she fell,” he smiles. He removed the bag from her head, “she is the brains behind this. “It's storming outside the window, gusting through Silent Valley.”“The generator at least works,” says Casey, “it's just for us to go and buy food now.”“I think we should first complete the mission. Andrea will come after us if we do not get to her first.”“You're right,” says Joshua, “let's get this over with.”He arms himself. Casey runs up to the door covering it, “what if you don't come back?”“We have been through the worst,” says Tiffany laughing, “please move aside. It's for your and our safety.”“Hold on," says Casey, running to her bag and taking out a gun.“Wait, hold on,” says Tiffany, “I thought you said you can't use a gun?”“About that, I lied. I did not feel like going out in the cold and knew Joshua could handle himself.”“And what about,” Tiff
Laying towards Joshua, she holds her arm around his waist as Tiffany holds onto Casey for warmth. It's dark and storming outside as Joshua and Casey are asleep. Joshua, who was warm earlier, is now cold. He removed the blanket from him to make sure Casey and Tiffany had enough blankets to keep warm while the dog was lying on the floor. Suddenly there is a bang upstairs, and he wakes up, finding Casey's arm around him. As he moves it off, he stands up, peeking through the window, but it's dark, and the window is covered with snow. He goes upstairs and slowly opens the basement door. He climbs through and closes the door behind him as he notices the wood covering the window is completely broken. The wood holding the house together is scattered as he moves toward the door. Looking outside, it's dark and snowy. Their car is tilted upside down in the middle of the road. How much worst could it get? Going back downstairs, he locks the basement door regretting ever setting foot in S
“What a mess the storm destroyed everything.”Casey walks around as Joshua and Tiffany arrange new transportation, “I wish I could get hold of Santiago,” he says, “my email has been delivered, and there is still no reply. He goes to the deep web and scrolls through the profile of the best hackers to be his eyes and ears; however, he cannot find anyone.“Hey,” Tiffany says, “let's call Sammy.”“Who is Sammy,” says Casey.“It's my best friend at school.”Casey immediately goes to Facebook and goes under Tiffany's friends to see if she can spot Sammy. There is no information on her. “So,” says Casey, “why are you contacting Sammy? I thought you wanted to get rid of the past.”Tiffany glances at Joshua, “well, Sammy, her dad, and my dad were in business together, and Joshua and I were like kids to him. “My brother is an accurate shooter,” says Tiffany as she drives off.“Those are some lousy firemen,” she says as she pulls over and lets Joshua take over the steering wheel.“So, where are we heading?” says Tiffany to Joshua.Joshua looks for an answer, “where ever the wind blows us.”“There is this cabin in the woods; it's quiet and away from everything. It belonged to my grandmother and has been empty since. It has power. It's not so far from where we are. Perhaps we can head there?” Juliet says.“And what about Andrea she will come looking for us there. It will be risky.”Joshua now stops, pulls over at a garage to refill, and goes inside to get snacks. Juliet goes in with him as Tiffany sits back and watches how well they get along, but Tiffany senses there is something wrong with Juliet. She is hiding something.Joshua comes out with refreshments, lots of swe
“Juliet, what’s wrong?” Tiffany walks up to her.“Nothing,” says Juliet staring up at Tiffany with tears.“Hey, we are here now for you. You're not alone.”She stands up, wiping her tears. “I am sorry, it's just,” she pauses and faintly smiles.Joshua then walks out of the room to inspect the other room. The other room has a queen-size bed with a balcony. Its wooden floor is shiny, as if it has been recently varnished. The long gold curtains blend in with the floor, and the bed has a white comforter. Looking outside on the balcony, it’s dark, but the fresh smell of the rain has him drawn to the view. He goes inside, asking Juliet if he can get that room.“Sure,” she says, “that was my room before.”“Oh, sorry,” says Joshua, “I never realized. I would not mind taking any room.”“No, no, it's ok,” says Juliet, “I
