Lucians POV

Although, all that Iago had just said was true, I still had to do it. I had to meet the witches. I had no other choice.

"I'm going to do it either way, Iago," I said to Iago who just stood, staring at me with disbelief and surprise.

"Aren't you going to inform the elders first?" he asked and I shook my head.

"I can't tell them," I said. "You know what they will say if I should tell them that I am going with the witches." Iago nodded with a smile as he raised his hands in the air.

"Whatever decision it is that you make, my hands are out of it," he said before turning to leave.

"Iago," I called out, causing him to stop on his tracks.

He turned to face me and asked, "what, alpha Lucian?"

"Do not make mention of this to the elders until I do," I said and he nodded.

"Sure," he replied before walking away. I sighed as scratched my head, scattering my wavy hair. Although, he was correct with what he said, I still had rule over all of my choices. I as the alpha had the righ
