Alana's POV

I didn't know why Garara had not commanded the witches or the dead monster that were surrounding us to stop Caleb and take me. It would have been easy for her to just give a command and they would do all her work for her but she just kept on casting spells at Caleb. I didn't know why until I noticed something. Caleb was beginning to tire out.

His blocks were now becoming weak and every strike that Garara gave him pushed him further back. It was as if she wanted him to tire out. I guessed it was because of how resilient Caleb was. She knew that no matter what she did, he would not let her take me so she did the only thing that would stop him. Tire him out till she delivers her final blow.

I had to do something to avoid Gararas plan from happening. The only way to let that happen was to give myself to her, even if Caleb was not going to allow it.
